You can't expect too much from a chain, I know. But at the very least, good customer service -- no matter how underpaid someone might be -- should be a basic human standard. The coffee, the avocado toast, and the sandwich were fine, just like at any other Dunkin'. However, the service from the young employee at this location left a lot to be desired. Maybe he was having a bad day or going through something difficult, but after more than 20 years working in customer service, I've learned that customers aren't to blame for what we're going through -- and at the end of the day, they're the ones who keep businesses running. I am a long-time customer and fan of Dunkin'. In fact, I have been coming to Dunkin' as far back as when they were called Dunkin' Donuts, lol. Regardless of what you want to call this iconic business, you really cannot go wrong. Dunkin' has grown considerably since Bill Rosenberg opened the first location in Quincy, Massachusetts back in 1950. The company has since expanded to somewhere around thirteen thousand locations in over forty countries. I would say that Dunkin' is best known for their donuts (though if you would like, you can spell it doughnuts) and coffee, though my go-to here is neither. My usual order at a Dunkin' is probably their bagels with cream cheese. While I would never say that Dunkin' has the best bagels with cream cheese (I grew up in New Jersey and I know great bagels), they are pretty good, especially when you consider that the bagels are coming from a global chain. I have often used Dunkin' (or if you prefer, Dunkin' Donuts) as a co-conspirator in bringing a culinary bribe of coffee and donuts to early morning meetings. There is nothing like some coffee and donuts to help inspire a bit more attention and maybe the wisp of a smile upon the tired faces of the various teams that I am meeting with. Whatever you choose to go with, you cannot go wrong with anything that you order at Dunkin'. Overall, I will give this location five stars and they definitely have my recommendation. read more

One of the managers is the kindest woman ever!! DD every day, reminds me why it's my preferred coffee chain. We ordered on mobile and mixed up the pick up locations. She made ours on the spot so we didn't need to drive 20 minutes to the other, where our order actually was waiting. So generous and patient. This location is also very nicely maintained and feels new. If I lived closer I'd have a coffee and do some reading or laptop work here for a few hours. read more

I visited Febuary 29, 2020 to get a quick breakfast for myself & my girlfriend in the AM. When I entered the establishment, I was the only customer. I ordered two croissant sandwiches & a few other items. I waited 10 minutes & then asked the associate why it was taking so long. It turned out they did not even inform the cook of my order, so I had to wait another 10 minutes! I also wanted to purchase creamer, but they did not sell this item. I asked for jelly for our muffins. They said it was $.30 per jelly packet. I understand they are trying to make a profit, but given the lousy treatment, they could have offered it to me for free. I then asked for extra creamer. They gave me 4 packets, but it was not enough. I asked for more, and they gave me a dirty look and said they could not yield to my request. After a total of 20 minutes, I got my order, coupled with alot of frustration. The breakfast I made for us turned out to he good. To be honest, I saw the subpar Yelp reviews prior to visiting, but since it was closer to our house, I decided to just go there figuring what was the worst that can happen. This place was convenient since we were staying next door at the Howard Johnson. However, it seems that the drive-thru is always busy and no one ever goes in the store. Well, this person was lazy too and decided to wait in the drive-thru line as well. Service was pretty fast. We drove to my Daughters house and found that they put cream in the coffee's. I got in my car to return them and correct the order. This Dunkin' was clean but my guess is it's clean because they take so long taking and making orders that no one has time to eat inside. The drive thru line was long and slow just like the line inside the store. It took 35 minutes for our order to be taking and completed. This is slowest DND in the county and coffee never seems fresh. Yesterday I went there to grab a coffee and a dozen donuts. Very long wait and I was the only one at the counter. One lady was working the drive thru, never said she'd be with me soon or someone would be with me. Finally another young lady made my coffee and I showed her my coupon from the Cub Scout camp card fundraiser which states buy 6 get 6 donuts free good at All Indian River County locations. I am new to the DD Perks and received an e:mail advising of a promotion day for 30 points with a qualifying purchase. Not knowing what qualified for the points, I asked the crew person at the register. She said she "didn't know." This was unacceptable. I expect that all employees who work behind a register to answer a question or at least give a more intelligent response than "I don't know." All employees should know what promo's are going on in their establishment. At least tell a customer that they will find out. But, the drinks I ordered where very good. The coolata was excellent. We were in the drive thru for 15 seconds max. There were 4 people in the car and we needed to look at the menu. No one in line behind us. The rude woman told us we needed to drive around the building, decide what we want, and come back to the menu because "we were at 45 seconds". Last night 1/24/13 at approximately 9:30 pm my family pulled up to this dunkin donuts drive thru. We attempted to order one iced coffee. The server couldn't understand so we went to the window. Even there he said he couldn't understand. Finally we yell to him and he just walks away. Not saying anything to us. So I look inside and we see him making the iced coffee. Cream, flavor shot, sugar and then the coffee. No ice. Having used to work at dunkin donuts, I knew he was doing it wrong. After the cup was full he dug the ice scooper into ice and then proceeded to over fill the cup. With his hand, no glove or anything, he pushed the ice into the cup. Touching the ice and the drink with a bare hand. When confronted by us about it, he claimed to have only put on the lid. And then said to us "what do you want?". To which my father said "we wanted the drink but not after you touched it" and we decided to drive away. The server looked straight at us and screamed "asshole". The food here is okay, nothing special, but not bad. I like their breakfast sandwiches quite a bit and I appreciate that they have an "egg and cheese" only option unlike many other fast food places. However, their staff is often quite rude. One woman in particular always seems to be in a rush and sometimes cuts you off while you're trying to order and will tell you to drive to the window before you're finished, which is annoying. Worst customer service, dirtiest restaurant I have ever been in, the floors looked like they had never been mopped. There was trash all over the floor. They have an open kitchen and there was food everywhere. Bacon on the ground coffee spilt in all areas of the establishment. Staff was terrible. We were at the counter for 3 full minutes and no one acknowledged us at all. We will never visit this establishment again. I cannot believe that the manager would let this store open this morning. I am giving this location a one star review because zero is not possible. I go to this location about three times a month and the service is always slower than other locations, but today it was terribly slow. There were about 4 people in line in front of me and I waited for 20 minutes. The staff looked angry to be there. My order was taken by Angela H. And she was extremely rude. She laughed at me when I misunderstood during my order. She talked to me like I was a child, even though I'm clearly an adult. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and a friend order a chicken, bacon croissant and we both agreed that would food was warmed on the outside but was cold once you bit into it. We both got doughnuts was well, they had an extremely small selection and tasted old. I was so upset with how I was treated today I made my Yelp account just to review this location and will no longer go to any Dunkin doughnuts loction, instead I will go ANYWHERE else.
