I have been to this Carvel multiple times over the past couple of years. While the service is good, the portion sizes have declined. Shrinkflation at its best here. I like the product, wish someone would open another one nearby and serve portions that are more in line with the price they charge. read more

I ordered a cake from here to surprise my friend for her birthday. I ordered through the store's website, paid in full (cake, delivery, tip, etc) and the cake was never delivered. I have contacted the store multiple times and have been given the runaround. All excuses imaginable.... from the manager not knowing how to do a refund, the owner in a meeting, the owner not there, it's not their issue, the owner said no.....etc. I ended up contacting the third party they use for deliveries (DoorDash) who also has reached out multiple times also getting the runaround. Basically, the business has not offered a solution to this problem and has no plans to refund money due.....even though DoorDash issued a refund to them. My experience with this business has been awful and I would not recommend them to anyone. They are unprofessional, condescending and do not know how to operate an ethical business. read more

The buy-one-get-one classic sundaes on wednesdays are hard to beat. This time, I had peanut butter soft serve with hot fudge. Absolutely delicious! The soft serve is light as a feather and the hot fudge was thick and rich. Every time I go, the service is amazing - the workers quickly get you your food, and do so with a smile on their face. They are happy to give out generous samples, and it seems they are very sincere and kind. I have a physical disability, and the employees often carry my ordered items for me to my car. To be honest, I had high expectations for Carvel since my dad had recommended it and it's located in a nice area. However, I was disappointed with the service. While trying to order, the girls working behind the line were too busy chatting with each other. I understand the importance of socializing at work, but it's unacceptable to ignore a customer who is trying to place an order. Just opened next to Big Apple Pizza on 20th St. in the Indian River Square shopping plaza. Finally a great soft serve ice has come to the area. They have hard and soft ice cream with an array of toppings and so many sizes for everyone. Love those flying saucers as well which are exclusive to Carver along with their iconic ice cream cakes. The place buys with new customers but lots of help getting the lines moving. Limited seating inside and nothing outside to sit on either. The only negative of the place to eat the ice cream but it is well worth it. I thought the prices were reasonable compared to other ice cream places. I enjoyed it and will be a regular customer. read more

I grew up in Mt Kisco, NY and the Carvel drive in was the place where frequented the most. I had to go past the Carvel stand to get home from work. When I was pregnant I would stop and buy 3 hot fudge sundaes every day. The Carvel that opened here in Vero is in a storefront on 20th right by Target. It's just as delicious as the Carvel I grew in by. It's so yummy and the hot fudge sundae is still the best. read more
