I placed an order on the app at 11:02am, I arrived at the restaurant at 11:10am. I stood in line for 30mins, none of the staff acknowledged anyone that came into the restaurant. There was no manager on duty because she apparently quit, however the customers should never have to experience the level of unprofessionalism we experienced. When someone finally decide to work the front counter I stated my issue and they just looked at me. I then asked for a refund and the girl walks off and starts talking to the girl working drive through and then they both start laughing! A lady finally comes to the register and I explain my situation again and request a refund. I'm then told that they don't know how to process mobile order refunds. I demand a refund so she calls the GM of the store and he tries to walk her through the steps but like I stated before she's possibly mentally challenged so NOTHING registered in the empty space where her brain should be located. I finally say screw it because it's now 1150am and I still don't have my food or a refund. She told me to call the GM of the Hewitt Tx location tomorrow to get a refund!! I'm sure this individual is on drugs because she appeared to be under the influence of something, she kept twitching her mouth and slobbering while talking, her shirt was dirty and she smelled like swamp ass! I'm a new Dunkin' customer but I decided to try Dunkin', this is my second time ordering and it will be my last! There's a reason why Starbucks is preferred over dunkin in this area! These guys do not know how to make a simple coffee. I ordered a large iced coffee with caramel and mocha and cream and sugar and they gave me a mocha iced coffee with sugar. And the sugar wasn't dissolved at all. It went straight to the bottom and when I took a drink it was all I could taste. Everyone knows you put in the sugar while the coffee is hot so it dissolves. The second one they gave me after I complained wasn't even my original order. Just a plain iced coffee with cream. It's not that hard to make good coffee. read more

I ordered ahead through the mobile app for pickup. When I got there the doors were locked even though it was over an hour after they opened. I knocked on the door for 5 minutes and was ignored, even though I could clearly see the workers in the store. When I call the store, they didn't answer until the third time. Then I was told "we're doing our drive through". I said I ordered ahead and I've been knocking on the door for 5 minutes. "Oh I'll tell them to get your order together now". I just can't! Only thing I like from your place is French Crullers that no other donut places in Waco carries. But anything else is just so bad. I asked for medium coffee with cream and sugar, it came out looking white as snow. They said they were instructed to add THREE servings of creamer to a medium cup. Gah! When this Dunkin' first opened, they were fine. I was excited to be able to use the mobile app and order ahead because that made everything so much faster (and easier for me as a mega-introvert.) But this place has only gone downhill since then. Most of the time half my order isn't ready when I get there, and I usually order about 15 minutes ahead of time. I'm ignored by the people working there when I try to get my order corrected. Recently the whole store and all the food has smelled and tasted like burnt chemicals. The savory breakfast sandwiches are greasy and rubbery. The last two times that I've ordered coffee (about a week apart) they've been out of hot coffee lids, so they've put the whole cup into an iced coffee cup, which seems ingenious until you realize it gets coffee everywhere. They've also been out of everything but plain glazed donuts two of the last three mornings I've been there, and when they DO have other donuts they taste stale. How can a donut and coffee place screw up donuts and coffee so badly?? Even the employees seem miserable. If you're desperate for Dunkin', head to the one in Hewitt. Flavor of Donuts is by far the best of all Donut shops. If review was solely on that alone Dunkin' Donuts would never lose. The flavor and quality here is by far the best in comparison to Shipley's or Daylight Donuts. Dunkin' is the Macy's to the others dollar general. Parking here not very good. Narrow lot an pushed way into back. Service was mediocre on this first visit. A slight attitude was had when inquired about the poor functionality of their app. You cannot order all flavors on App. It allows only the basic flavored donuts. They are known for extremely good coffee but I had none this trip. Many Friends from Northern states live on Dunkin' coffee and donuts. They only fail it seems because of being poorly run by bad attitude workers and the owners. This one will only survive if they get their act together. The products otherwise will sell themselves. We only buy a dozen donuts on rare occasion. Trying to be better health-wise. We would/will break our restrictions more often because there is no beating Dunkin' quality and flavor. It is out of our way to go here and we are willing to if time permits. Service will be the deciding factor on how often we make the effort to get there. read more

I go to Dunkin when I travel and have never had such bad experiences as when I'm home & go to the location at Valley Mills Dr. The staff is untrained and it's usually chaos behind the counter. I'm usually there between 8-8:30 a.m. and they're often out of the donuts I want. The coffee is so-so; sometimes I have to wait until they brew a new pot. Today I stood at the counter for several minutes before anyone even said hello. I suppose it might be a compliment, but I always have to ask for my senior discount. I go there twice a week and always get the same thing, but no one remembers my order because the staff is always different. I've never seen anyone wipe off tables or sweep. Not starting out very well. Visited on a Saturday night, to find cones laid out in the drive-through, once inside they were out of eggs (you can't send someone to the grocery store? They are eggs, not some proprietary ingredient!), as well as certain coffees, and so I settled on a bagel, only to open it at home to find it burned black. The employee had to have known, as he spread (more like plopped) cream cheese on it before giving it to me. The food is pretty good, and the people are nice, but this place is a disaster. No one appeared to be well-versed on how to run the register, in the time we were there they probably made half of the drinks twice, and the other half not at all until someone asked, and they were amazingly slow. It took me about 5 minutes to get a single cup of black coffee - and that was the only thing on the order. well, usually i do drive thru... and now i know why. this particular dunkin was under staffed and don't get me wrong i understood the situation but it doesn't give the manager any right to be yelling and throwing a fit about it. i really wanted to take that manager badge right off her shirt because that's now how a "manager" should handle these situations. she locked us inside of the store and wouldn't let customers in DURING their OPEN HOURS. but i got a large coffee when i ordered a small so that's the only good thing i can say about this dunkin, they're under stocked so you can get free things. as i'm wrapping up i just watched two other customers attempt to come in but they can't because they're locked out. v cute dunkin ;) read more

After many poor experiences at this location, I felt that today topped them all. I was the only car in the drive thru this morning and ordered a coffee and some hash browns. I pull up, no one comes to the window. I can see 5 or 6 employees walking around and chatting. After about 5 minutes of me watching, one of the employees asks what I got. I was the only car in the drive thru, so I thought it was strange but whatever. I'm given my (cold) hash browns and waited as the employees continued to chatter. About 5 minutes later, I get my coffee from the woman I assume is the manager and her nose is sticking out of her mask, still the only car and everyone's socializing. After making eye contact with all of them, they asked me what I needed with attitude. Um, to pay???? I should've just driven off, but at that point I had already been sitting there for 10 minutes. To add, they run out of donuts/pastries around 10am...how is this possible??? The donuts taste like plastic, probably because they're only partially glazed on one side. Worst location i have ever been to. It has been 3 times now that i wait 30 minutes in 5 car drive thru line. Then once I got to the window they gave me the wrong size drink. He said they would fix it and bring it right out. Okay....I am glad we have a Dunkin' Donuts but did we have to put it in such a tight location. I went on a Sunday 10/16/16 well into the afternoon and sat in the drive through for more than 5 minutes and still the car in front of me had not moved. Fortunately there was not a car behind me so I backed up a little bit and parked and had to walk a bit of the way to get to the inside entrance. When I got in I was not greeted and the girl at the register acted as if she was over occupied. She dropped my single donut in the bag without the wax paper wrap around it. Then I order the latte hot and the young man who fixed it seem like he didn't know what he was doing. Yet another worker was getting onto him about leaving the empty coffee pot on the burner and it had burned the pot slightly at the bottom. The drive-thur personnel seemed more eager to assist than the inside personnel perhaps this should have been a drive-thur restaurant. But I will still give them another chance only because a ex-workers daughter works there. Just be prepared for Waco we strive on good customer service and accommodations. By the way with the parking so far off it is a good way to walk off the food if you ate inside with the limited sitting. read more

The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating literally every single time I've been and I have never had a bad thing to say about their iced coffee or breakfast sandwiches. Dont ever try to go to the DUNKIN DOUGHNUTS On N. VALLEY MILLS DR.in WACO TEXAS .I complained about how rude the evening shift was and about how they treated me and my son.We go there everyday sometimes 2 to 3 times a day for such simple things such as maybe a cold coffee one day, next day ,maybe a tea.And then i drive clear across town just for that when theres Bushes tea right around from me.I love the DAY SHIFT...they are so awesome and always has a smile.The ones im complaining about are always with rude faces along with funky attitudes and they dont like it when i use my coupons..They gripe about that im not suppose to tear off the bottom part and other gripes. Dunkin' Donuts are one of my favorite childhood memories and I enjoy each time I stop at one but I have to say that on my 2nd trip into Waco and to make a point to go by for the chocolate crème filled donuts, I have been sadly disappointed. The chocolate crème was no more than a tablespoon on the top 1/8th of the donut with nothing else in the middle. And this was the same on the 1st visit as well. I think y'all are trying to cut corners and make a bigger profit or someone needs to go to Dunkin' Donut making school and learn how to do it right. This is the only Dunkin' Donut store that I have ever in my 56 years been so disappointed in that I won't visit again. Not worth the 40 minute drive.
