When it came in and I gave them my set to have the new ring soldered they told me the sizing of the set would be a bit smaller. I told them I didn't want it smaller. When I went back to pick it up, it was quite tight. So they had to resize it. I understand when you get rings soldered it going to effect sizing. What I don't understand is if they can resize a ring then why wasn't it done to match the way it was originally in the first place. So the next time I went in, the set was resized way too big, to the point it fell off my finger. When I told the lady it needed fixed she said "well it's the size you ordered". So apparently she wanted me to just be ok with it falling of my finger. Needless to say I left it there to be resized yet again. Also, I had repeatedly asked for the appraisal papers for the new ring so I could add it to my insurance prior to this. When I asked the lady again that I wanted them, she told me the ring wasn't worth getting insured. My husband spent over $800 on this ring and that was at a discounted price. I'm sure he would think it was worth insuring. He doesn't typically like to pay that amount of money and be like "Here's a new ring honey. If you lose it, damage it or its stolen no biggie. I got money to throw away!" We ordered this in December and I finally walked out of the store with it (and the appraisal papers) in the middle of March. And I'm not happy with it. The size is still too big but at least its not following off my finger. And I'm not happy with the birthstones in it and the band is now misshaped. I feel they completely ruined my wedding set. I'd like to get it unsoldered and take it back for a refund. On a side note, we had problems getting appraisal paper work for a pair of earrings my husband bought me for about $1000 a coupe years ago. Had to ask for it several times before we finally got it.

The things they sell are helpful to more than professional jewelers. My father, for example, is a botanist who studies mosses. He buys all of his hand lenses here (and then proceeds to wear them around his neck and continually get asked why he's wearing a whistle.) I like them for their beading cord and tool quality. This is the kind of place that is trying to keep itself a secret. THERE IS NO SIGN. Let me repeat that. THIS STORE DOES NOT HAVE A SIGN. They also keep their door locked a lot of the time, so you knock and look somewhat respectable and they let you in. (The store is located right next to the plasma donation place, and they apparently get some interesting characters in.) If you're an artist or a beader or a botanist/entomologist/etc. I highly suggest dropping in sometime. It will be worth your while.

I called them because it said here in a previous review that they do watch repair. It turns out they don't actually do watch repair, they only sell the parts. When I asked if they could recommend a repair person she asked who I was. When I told her my name she told me to just go to my local jeweler...which I'm pretty sure I could have figured out on my own, except I didn't want to do that. Well she refused to tell me of any local shops that work on watches. This must be the only business in Columbus that has more business than they know what to do with--as they sure don't seem very welcoming to new potential business.

From the moment my engagement ring was designed, to adding my wedding band, to now handcrafting my three-year anniversary band... every single experience has been filled with kindness, care, and unmatched craftsmanship. What makes this place extraordinary is not just the jewelry--it's Edward himself. He remembers your name. He remembers your story. He treats you as if your piece is the most important one he's ever made. In a world full of commercial jewelers and rushed transactions, he gives you something rare: time, attention, honesty, and heart. Every ring he's crafted for me holds a memory, a moment, and a feeling... and somehow, he makes each new addition even more beautiful than the last. The diamonds... the quality... the artistry... nothing compares. People think going to a real jeweler means paying more, but the truth is you will not find this level of quality at these prices anywhere else. His work is exceptional, yet still accessible. Choosing Edward Warren wasn't just a purchase--it was one of the best decisions we made for our life together. He's become a part of our milestones, our celebrations, and our story. And for that, I'm forever grateful. If you want more than a ring--if you want a piece of art created with intention, passion, and genuine care--you deserve to experience this place. Truly unforgettable.

Came here about a month ago because I had a chain that I went to my regular jeweler to have the lobster claw clasp replaced because it was loose. The first time I wore it I lost my amethyst pendant from it when I went back I was told it's fine you must not have closed it correctly. I had an amethyst earring that I wanted to make into a pendant to make up for the one that I had lost so I took it to Edward Warren and I also showed them the chain and the jeweler said that it was loose that I should take it back, and she also showed it to another jeweler there, who said the same thing. The only way the other jeweler agreed to replace it with because I told him to other jeweler said it was a bad class, and I decided that he was never going to get my business again and then I needed some other repairs and things done and I went back two more times, so I definitely recommend them they do good work. They are very reasonable. I'm not in the market to really buy new jewelry but they have some beautiful, beautiful jewelry and I'm sure they do custom work too

YE Gurl Says: Service Matters More Than Sparkle at Worthington Jewelers…read more Place: Worthington Jewelers Context: Bridal show intro + in-store visits I really wanted to root for this one. I'm a fan of local, mom-and-pop businesses--especially for something as meaningful as wedding jewelry. Met the team at a bridal show, and while the energy felt a little off (crowds were heavy, so I gave grace), they warmed up enough to mention an extended bridal promo and encouraged me to stop in. So I did. And unfortunately... the experience never quite landed. When I came into the store, it was busy again--fair--but the interaction felt just as unclear as before. I explained exactly what I was looking for (even showed a Tiffany & Co. reference), and was immediately told customization was the only option... with no pricing guidance, no range, no transparency. That's a miss. When I did find a band in-store that worked, I moved forward--still without a clear idea of cost. After a long back-and-forth with a manufacturer, the quote came back at over $1,500 more than the comparable Tiffany piece. Pause. I also had to remind them about their own bridal promotion while actively making a purchase. That shouldn't be on the customer. To salvage the visit, I added earrings and dropped off jewelry for repair (which, to be clear, the smith work was excellent). But the buying experience? Still off. And here's where it really mattered: I later found my original ring through my Tiffany rep and called to cancel the order. Thankfully, I caught it in time--because buried in the fine print is that custom orders are non-cancelable. That's the kind of detail that should be clearly communicated upfront, not discovered later. Even the cancellation process felt like work. I was told someone would call me back... hours passed... I had to follow up myself to close the loop. Final visit to pick up my repaired jewelry? Empty store, but still somehow rushed. I tried to browse, got prompted to check out early, asked about items I'd previously seen--and was told they didn't exist. Then spotted them right next to me at checkout. At that point, I paid for the repair work and left with the same energy I walked in with: rushed, unclear, and not particularly welcomed. YE Gurl Insight: There's a difference between *nice* and *kind*. Nice feels scripted. Kind feels intentional. And in a category like jewelry--where purchases are emotional, high-investment, and personal--experience is everything. Final Take: * Craftsmanship (repairs): Strong * Retail experience: Inconsistent at best * Pricing transparency: Lacking * Overall vibe: Off I understand why more people are opting for brands like Tiffany & Co. or even online retailers like Mejuri --you get clarity, consistency, and a smoother experience without the friction. YE Gurl Says: Support local when it feels good to do so. But if the experience makes you second-guess a meaningful purchase? Trust that instinct and move accordingly.
