After going back to the store and trying it back on the cups were sewed to the wrong part of the dress causing me to have a cup hanging out all night and ruined my pictures. Do not recommend. While I truly love my dress, my overall experience with David's Bridal was frustrating and added unnecessary stress during an already overwhelming time. I purchased my dress in September 2025 (Cait helped me during my first appt and she was great) and was told it would be ready for alterations/pickup in October. October came and went with no communication, so I reached out in November, only to be told they weren't sure why I'd been given that timeline, as the dress wouldn't be ready until January 2026. At the time, this felt manageable since my wedding is mid-May 2026. However, the issues continued. In January, my alterations appointments were canceled same day three separate times with very limited and far out options to reschedule. When I finally had my first fitting, the service was poor and the alterations were done incorrectly, requiring me to return for another appointment. Initially, I was told alterations would take less than a week - but by this point, it was already mid-April, just one month before my wedding. On the phone call before my second appointment (to fix their mistake), I was told my dress wouldn't be ready for another month- meaning the week of my wedding. I even asked about a refund so I could take my dress to be altered elsewhere, but was told that wasn't an option. Then, after finally being able to come in for the appointment in April after multiple calls and speaking to a manager, I unexpectedly was told the dress was actually ready to take home despite multiple prior conversations with different staff members insisting it wouldn't be ready until May. Overall, the experience was disorganized, inconsistent, and disappointing. Communication was poor, timelines constantly changed, and it often felt like no one knew what was going on. I regret choosing to work with them and would strongly recommend that other brides look elsewhere. read more

Nightmare! Well this has went downhill with every interaction. Our first appointment was fun and everything that we expected. We were told her dress would be in the beginning of April. Her veil came in but dress did not. So of course that was disappointing. After a few weeks we start to get concerned and she calls in to check. She was told that her dress was there and we only had until that Monday to pick it up. She panicked and after not being able to figure it out in the couple of days notice that she had, she talked to someone and asked for more time. The manager agreed. She took off a half day and my mom and I met her there so we could try on dresses too. When Kenz called about her dress, she asked if we needed an appointment and was told no. But we had almost zero help. My mother did when she first arrived but I didn't see anyone. We pulled all of our own dresses. Then when Kenzie got there and asked for her dress, she was told that it isn't there. Of course she was upset. As we left I got a call from the manager saying that she talked to the warehouse and her dress will be here the 23rd. Thank goodness I didn't tell Kenzie that she said that because it didn't arrive then either. So I had Kenzie call today and double check before we tried this again and they got rude with her on the phone. "If it's your order it's supposed to be under your phone number" was stated. Well I made her appointment and I paid for her dress. It's under my phone number. I just wanted her to have all of the good experiences and so far I just keep trying to smooth things out and I feel I'm continuously being sabotaged. Do better. This is a big deal for people. I could have bought her the same dress on a David's bridal sale for $300 but I wanted her to have the experience so I let her get her dress as we were there. $1500 is a lot to pay to be treated rudely for mistakes that were not our fault. I suppose I'll update again after we pick it up. *** RETURNING THE DRESS**** This is ridiculous. Does not fit and because the salesperson was able to stuff my daughter in it and force it closed, they say they will not exchange for the correct size. Was told it had to be altered because it zipped. There was not enough fabric there to use for an alteration. They would have had to sewn big panels on just to cover her breast. After telling the manager again and again not to sign this dress out that I am not accepting it. She signed it out anyway. I told her 3 times before she did. I told her over and over that I am not signing this dress out. She continued and forced me saying she was going to call security. Now I get to go through this again in an hour when I have my bank card. This place is a nightmare! Returned the dress and Chasity Williams called my daughter a bitch and lied to her saying I threw something at her. Absolutely insane. I want the security footage and will be requesting it. So, I decided to create a yelp account just to write this review. Originally, I was extremely nervous when I made my appointment particular due to my size. I'm a heavier set woman, and I've always had anxiety when shopping for any type of clothing, let alone a wedding dress. I was paired with Eric, and he did everything in his power to make me feel so comfortable during the entire process. He picked several different dresses that were in my price range, and he really picked a variety of dresses for me to try. I found the ONE! The service was absolutely amazing. Eric was absolutely amazing. Instead of feeling uncomfy like I have being helped at other stores, he made it feel like he was your friend, and I loved that. 10/10 would recommend him and David's Bridal for any bride. read more

Being that this is a major chain, I was holding my breath when my sister (the bride), my mom (mother of the bride), and myself (maid of honor) planned out our visit. Reservations are absolutely required if you want any actual service. Not sure why it doesn't say reservations are required here because they basically are. Anyhoo, we arrived on time, the young lady helping us was nice enough, and the quality and options they had were a little lackluster but they did help us rule out what we didn't like. Both my sister and my mom tried things on. I didn't see anything I liked enough to do so. We all left empty handed. The second time we came through we were getting somewhere but needed to check color swatches. When it came to checking out with them we stood there for quite some time being totally ignored. I get that we didn't have a high ticket item to purchase at that moment but we still deserve good service. It was clear that was why other patrons were being led in front of us as we stood there. After having my bridesmaids try on their dresses in the store, 3 of the dresses were ordered in the wrong sizes and one wasn't delivered after 3 months of waiting. The store's response was that I should just continue to wait for the dress or order another one (neither of which would guarantee that we'd actually have the dresses in time for the wedding). A family member of mine came to this location to find her wedding dress. She is transgender, presents as female, takes hormones and has a female name. All through her appointment, the staff called her "he", "him," etc. Now, I'm not woke and I think a lot of this pronoun stuff is getting out of control, but would it kill you to show some common respect and courtesy? She didn't roll up in there rocking a beard and looking like a lumberjack. She looks like a woman and she very clearly stated she was the BRIDE. I will NEVER EVER buy from a DB again. I am pregnant and wanted to try on dresses for a wedding I'm in in May. We went shopping beginning of February. I found one I loved and felt like it would provide enough room for when I'm roughly 8 months pregnant. When I went up to order the dress the associate couldn't get the dress to order. She said she needed her managers code. The manager explained that the lead time was further out than the May 20 wedding. So she was putting the event in June but that "the times are always way out. It'll be in by the wedding for sure" she assured me and my husband multiple times. We paid the 150.00 for the dress and was out of sight out of mind. Fast forward to now- mid April. I haven't heard anything about my dress so I went to look it up. My email from DB doesn't even have an order number. So I get ahold of corporate which is a joke. It's a text message customer service. No option to speak to a person. So I go through the text messages and this "associate" or "virtual stylist" tells me my dress is in and ready for pickup! I respond asking why I haven't gotten a phone call or email. At the same time I called the location and the associate on the phone told me my order is still processing with a ship date of JUNE 11. I told him that corporate said it's there. He replied "no all I see is that it's processing, I can call the warehouse to see if there's one that maybe they can send us for you, I'll call you back." Do you think I received a response? And the text person basically told me sorry for the confusion. Maybe the system is wrong. I had all intentions of writing a positive review for David's Bridal; my first appointment for an alteration for a bridesmaid dress landed me buying a wedding dress for my wedding. The experience exceeded my expectations, and the manager was kind and courteous. Returning for my bridesmaid dress was equally enjoyable. Both times, I worked with a manager who went above and beyond. I'm horrible with names, but she was blonde, so hopefully that makes it easy to identify. For my third experience, here is where things went horribly wrong. It started out wonderful. The manager I had been working with booked me a courtesy appointment a week prior to this to be able to show my mom at David's Bridal as she was driving 9 hours to come see. I arrived at the appointment this past Saturday at 9 a.m., all excited to show my mom. I started to check in with a different manager, not the one I had been working with, and was told I didn't have an appointment and that was fine. I could use a room after she checked in everyone who had an appointment. I told her I did have an appointment and had to show her my phone after she checked in four other people who arrived after me. After she understood what was happening, she told me I could use room 24. I took my dress to room 24 and waited. After 5 minutes, I asked if someone would be able to help me get into my dress. She said no, so I asked why not, as the reason I had my appointment was to show my mom, who drove 9 hours because she wasn't able to be there a few weeks ago. She began to talk about how they were understaffed due to car troubles and that she had other brides to work with. Eventually, she agreed to help zip my dress up but wouldn't do anything but that. I had to ask her to help pull down the dress so that it could lay properly, and it was just a degrading experience. My mother felt awful for me for not having that one moment a bride should have. I told my mother after the appointment that my first experience was really pleasant and not to fret too much. I took time to reflect on whether I wanted to say something, but I finally felt I had to regardless of them being understaffed. The behavior of this store manager on Saturday, 7/29/23 AM, was rude and unprofessional and should be brought to light. read more

David's bridal has the WORST customer service I have ever had to deal with. EVER.  Their alterations department RIPPED my dress and refuse to accept responsibility or do anything about it. I'm 2 months out from my wedding and don't have a dress with NO HELP from the company who ripped my dress. The manager doesn't want to take any responsibility or come up with a sol that doesn't cost me more money. In February 2022 I scheduled my alterations appointment, for February 13th. The dress had fit great, zipped up with no issue, and no excess room. I needed to have the dress hemmed, a bustle added, and asked about the way the dress didn't lay flat across my chest. I had my appointment and explained what I wanted/needed to have done. At the end of the appointment I scheduled my follow up appointment for pick up. I showed up for my pick up on March 31st, at which time the dress had been hemmed, the bustle added, and the sides were taken in. Now the dress didn't wouldn't zip up because it was taken in on the sides (even though it fit perfectly at my first fitting). The alterations department said they would take it back out and return for another appointment. When I returned for that appointment on April 14th the dress had been let out on the sides and fit again but I still had the issue that the dress didn't lay flat. This time the alterations department said they could take in the front where the bust seam was, and to come back for another appointment. I returned for another appointment on April 28th, at which point they had taken the dress in on the sides (again) and it wouldn't zip up. Once again they told me they would take the dress out and to return for yet another appointment. A week later I show up for another appointment on May 5th. The dress had been let out on the sides, back to its original size. After another discussion about what was "wrong" with the dress and it not laying flat she told me to take it off and to let her do something else and to come back in 2 hours and this time she would fix it. I left and returned to the store 2 hours later. When I returned it was again taken in on the sides, and the dress wouldn't zip. She was trying to zip it and ripped my dress in the back. Yes ripped the back of my dress, and I heard the material rip. My mom was in the room and the lady doing the alterations threw the piece on the floor. My mom picked up the piece off the floor and the alterations lady snatched it out of her hand and told her its fine it can be fixed. At this point I am more than frustrated at the number of times I have been to alterations appointments, the number of alterations that were done agains what I was telling them was wrong, and the fact that now my dress was RIPPED. After I took the dress off this time she took the dress to the back again and finally fixed the boning (I think that is the term they used) in the dress to make it lay flat across the front. Now that the dress fit and was laying the way it should I had to make another appointment so that the rip and beading could be fixed. The manager and the one doing the alterations assured me the rip could be fixed, they had plenty of beading and everything would be fixed when I returned the following week to pick up my dress. I returned 1 week later to pick up my dress. The alterations manager came out to speak with me. She proceeded to tell me they couldn't find the beading that would match what is on the dress, and that there is nothing they could do about the rip, but they tried to fix it. She showed me the dress. The beading that they chose didn't match (not the same size, shape, color, or material) , the beading pattern didn't match the rest of the dress, and the rip still there with beading overtop of it. She told be that this was the best that they could do - I would personally be embarrassed to ever admit that this was their best work. They kept the dress again and said they would work on it some more. I returned again on May 12th for another appointment and the dress still looked the same, with no changes to anything that was wrong with the dress. I refused to accept the dress in that condition. The manager says that it's an old dress so she doesn't see what the issue is with the dress not being in the same condition as a dress that is brand new. read more

They almost begged me to come back by offering me to meet with the manager and tried to persuade me with all their deals on their dresses. First I went to the DB on Sawmill because they had only slightly (still bad) reviews. I'm getting married in less than two months, so I had to buy something off the rack to allow time for alterations. After visiting the Sawmill store I went home and spent a lot of time on the DB website so I could walk in and have a list in hand to show an associate. After the lackluster service I received at Sawmill, I chose to visit the store on Morse Road. I went in without an appointment last Wednesday around noon. I knew as I walked in the door that I might not be able to try on gowns since appointments are recommended. It's like going to a hair salon - if you don't make an appointment, you may not get your hair cut. I was greeted shortly after arrival and was asked to sign in. The lady up front was pleasant and told me that she would check to see if they had a stylist available to help me select and try on gowns. I spent the next several minutes entertaining myself by happily browsing their selection. Luckily, I was greeted by Erin W. who told me that she could help me out. I gave her the list of dresses and she quickly pulled a few and took me to a fitting room. I tried them on and fell in love with one. I came from out of state to dress shop with my stepmother, so not only did I have the options of the two DB in Columbus, but there are also several in the area in which I live. Erin reported that her store didn't have the size I needed. At this point, all of the work that she did was of absolutely no benefit to her as I would not be buying the dress from her. She went above and beyond to help me track down the dress by not only calling the store across town, but also helping me find the stores close to me back home. All the while she was kind and made easy conversation. She gave honest opinions and information and even brought a seamstress out to answer my questions about the options for alterations. I really wish that I could have purchased the dress from her. I even asked if they could have the dress transferred to her store so I could. Unfortunately that was not an option. Erin and the other associates provided excellent service that surpassed my expectations. Know what you want, make an appointment and remember that they are there to help. I asked them how I could return a dress that I didn't have possession on and they agreed it didn't make sense. Folks, i think i have discovered a new all time low point for customer service here at David's Bridal Easton! I ordered my bridesmaid dress for my best friend's wedding in April. I was told there would be 15 weeks lead time and the dress magically appeared in June, about 8 weeks early. The bride lives in the country of Bermuda. Her party has ordered 7 bridesmaids dresses, all of the bride's accessories, mother of the bride dress and accessories. My dress is a Vera Wang dress, so one would expect quality, right? WRONG! The bust seams were terribly bumpy, the side split was in the front, and the arm holes were too small causing the dress to look awful! I retried the sample just to make sure i wasn't remembering the fit differently. Like i recalled, i was a perfect size 10 with no alterations needed. After deliberation, Beth (store manager) reordered my dress. The second dress came in 6 weeks (again) and lo and behold, it was just as bad as the first one. I actually believe this was probably the same dress and they never reordered. The fit was so bad this time that the alterations manager had to cut me out of the dress because the zipper was so cheap, it got stuck when i tried to take the dress off. Beth decided to reorder this dress one size up (size 12) and they would cover alterations and offered me 20% to compensate for my trouble (about $35). When the 3rd dress arrived, i was pinned for alterations to take the dress back to a size 10. I was informed that they would now not cover the hem of the dress and i would have to pay $45 or they would unpin the hem. I told them it was ludicrous that i pay for any alterations after 2 botched dresses and multiple trips to the store and hours of my time wasted. I suggested they keep the 20% they offered and let's just call it even. I was told that was not possible and i would still owe them approximately $10 and if i did not pay the $10 then they would not unpin the hem or perform any alterations period until it was settled. I walked out the store after the manager on duty promised a call from the store manager in the morning. I never received that call. A week later i contacted dbicares (corporate email) with a promise of a response in 24 hours that i didn't get until almost a week later. They said the store should contact me in in a few days. I never got a call. Corporate contacted me again a week later and said the store would contact me in 24-48 hours. That didn't happen. A week later (after i sent a 3rd email to corporatei finally get a call from the store manager Beth, stating that she could take my credit card over the phone to cover the cost of the hem! Then she said she had to get on a conference call so she couldn't stay on the phone with me. Needless to say, i hung up before i started yelling expletives. This issue remains unresolved. UPDATE: After 2 weeks of waiting for a response from DBCares, i was finally contacted by the store manager Beth. She was just as crass and condescending as before. I decided to take up this issue with my credit card company. read more

I ordered three bridesmaid dresses, one for me and one for each of my two daughters. The first one came in a couple of weeks. After 4 weeks passed, I called and my dress was never even ordered! My other daughter's dress came about a week after that and it was in the complete wrong size -- which they measured her for. My special attendant was Michele, what an awesome person, very helpful and patient. First time in, she welcomed my bridal party and family with such a happy and fun attitude! Made the time there for us such fun! Michele made suggestions but wasn't overbearing and encouraged us to take our time and enjoy the moment! I was forewarned by several people to beware of David's Bridal. I heard that they had terrible customer service and was told horror stories by a couple of brides. That being said, I did not have very high expectations going in to my Saturday morning appointment, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! My stylist was Tatiana, and she was very sweet and laid back. I never once felt pressured by her. She was helping myself and another bride at the same time, which I think is standard at David's, but I didn't mind since I had friends with me who could help me get into the dresses. Others might be turned off by this, however. I ended up liking a few dresses at David's but had an appointment later in the day at another salon. I did not end up purchasing my gown at David's, but my experience was overall enjoyable. I would consider them for bridesmaid dresses or gifts. read more

After seeing their low amount of stars, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt, I figured that brides are just a little picky. How can they be that terrible? Let me start out with I am a super relaxed person and have worked in customer service for 11 years, I usually cut service workers a good amount of slack when it comes to poor service. Yesterday I finally was able to get all of my bridesmaids together to meet. Some of them even came from 2 hours away. I was not 100 percent decided on if they were all going to wear the same type or color of dresses, I wanted to see them together before making that decision. Upon arriving there were 5 associates at the desk and maybe one other customer in the store, they made us sign in(which I totally get) but then told us we weren't allowed to do anything for a half an hour when our appointment began, the girls weren't allowed to pick out dresses to try on from the rack, the stylist had to touch everything for them. They had to look at a little picture with 12 dresses on it and decide from there what they wanted to try on. So instead of actually trying on things they wanted to, the stylist just brought them random things with long gaps in between waiting on the next. There was a lot of wasted time with waiting. One of my bridesmaids tried on one dress but needed a size 14 and the stylist was gone for like 8 minutes, and came back empty handed, and told her that they didn't have a 14 for her to try, this was also in no specific dress, any 14 would've been ok to see how their sizing works. So she drove 2 hours to try on one style of dress because the stylist wouldn't give her another to try on. The other girls were able to try on 3 different dresses, and then the stylist says, " not to be that girl but keep in mind you only have a half an hour left." She then looks at one of them and says, that looks great on you! Is that the one you are getting today? My girl says, I wasn't planning on buying one today but I wanted to see what everyone was getting and get an idea of which one I liked. The stylist then says, "Why not? What are you waiting for? The wedding's in September, you need to get the ball rolling." So we left, and though two of the girls found dresses there that they liked I advised them not to waste their money at that specific Davids Bridal. Honestly the worst shopping experience I've ever had, they were rude, insulting, and restricting. A customer should never have to defend themselves on why they are not making a purchase today. She ended up telling her that she had to wait until next pay, but realistically none of that was her business. I probably wouldn't be so angry, if people didn't drive so far to come down for a fun day of wedding shopping, that ended up being miserable and infuriating. Brides please listen when I say take your wedding party anywhere else. I really enjoyed my experience at this location. I decided to take the first appointment of the day when I made my appointment. It created an early morning but it wa so worth it. Carol was helpful in the process and even brought out some that I hadn't thought of. While those didn't end up being the one, I did find the one and the entire process so far has been easy! read more

Wow! They totally got over on me! I'd like to be able to say that the employees were both friendly and helpful. However, I bought a $150 dress there which wouldn't be so bad if not for the fact that ONLY 3 days later, they slashed that price in half to $75 for the same exact dress. 3 DAYS!! Could they have given a gal time to at least apply a band-aid first? Sheesh! Worse is that I actually crawled out of bed sick to meet a deadline that was supposedly mid-feb (DB's deadline) to receive my dress before May, but now the dress can magically arrive in March. I won't even touch or see the darn thing for a month, and I'm stuck with an "all sales final" slap directly in the face! Did I mention that alterations will be an additional cost? What an awful, awful purchase. Way to make a girl feel dumb and completely unexcited. Feeling duped and bummed. read more

I realize that when you are ordering bridesmaids gowns Davids is very convenient, there's one in every major city, they have an enormous selection, and they're cheap. When it comes down to it their customer service sucks, they are not reliable, they're scandalous, and should not be in business. Here's some other reasons to skip purchasing from Davids: 1. They have no privacy, when you try on a dress you need to come out of the dressing room to look in a mirror, and practically everyone in the store can see you. I had to try on a dress three sizes too small and then come out of my room to find about 4 guys, 5 girls, and some little kids running around screaming. I was so uncomfortable I couldn't even get a good look at it. 2. Four times the girl sizing me said what size I needed to order. When she turned the order form in up front I grabbed it from behind the desk to make sure the information was correct, she wrote down the wrong size, in fact it was two sizes too small, all sales are final, would I have had to order another dress if I had not caught this? 3. The store is filthy, the carpets are nasty, the dresses are covered with deodorant stains, and the girls working there have no dress code (sweat pants are unacceptable salesperson attire). I wanted to run, I wanted to call up the Bride and say don't do this! But it's her day, so I ordered the peridot, tea length, satin disaster and alas I yelp. I understand having the bridesmaids order from Davids (I did it too years ago). But Brides are deserving of so much more. When you try on your dress you deserve privacy, respect, honesty, and don't forget, champagne! read more

My mother-in-law and sister-in-law and I came here to try on some dresses in early July 2011. We made the appointment and headed over there later in the week. Our sales person was named Ginny. Over the phone they told me to peruse the website and pick out styles that I liked and bring in a list so I could try them on, needles to say I ended up with a list of at least 10 dresses that I was looking towards trying on. We got there on time,but of course Ginny was with two other brides so she sent us to the sale rack to pick out the dresses. We didn't find any we liked, however we saw a dress on a mannequin and knew that it was something that was of interest to me. Ginny huffed and puffed about having to find the dress on the mannequin and was upset that we didn't find any sale dresses to try on, because that would have made her job a hell of a lot easier. She asked the date of the wedding, didn't bother to ask location or what style we were after and handed me the dress from the mannequin. I handed her the list I had been told to bring in and she looked at it, and immediately said that they didn't have any in my size. Now, I understand that every girl that walks in there, especially midwest girls, are not all going to be a size 2, however to just assume I wouldn't fit into any of the dresses I went in there to look at was degrading. There were several Vera Wang White, collection dresses (which are of the higher end for DB) that we were looking forward to trying on, but again Ginny refused to go in the back and look for them and kept leaving us to attend to her two other brides. My MIL and SIL took it upon themselves to go to the racks and find the dresses themselves and guess what?! They did have my size, Ginny was just too lazy to look for them. She also kept trying to get me to try on the discarded dresses that her other brides, who were less than 5 feet away from me, and were not at all the style I was looking for. Long story short, Ginny almost ordered the wrong size, didn't really want to do her job and basically failed as a salesperson. She said the dress would be in store in October. Today I got an phone call from a girl named Kristen who left a voicemail on which she sounded very annoyed, to inform me that my dress had been in the shop for the past 42 days, and why haven't I come to pick it up yet? Needless to say...i know DB is convenient, but if you love your bridesmaids have them get something better than their shitty selection. read more

I went to David's bridal to get a wedding dress.I couldn't justify spend an arm and a leg on a dress I would wear for a few hours so the selection and price options was the main reading I went with this shop. I tired on a lot of dressed in my appointment. The associate was very kind and complementary but was definitely trying to make a sale. I guess I cant blame her it is her job. When I tired on a dress that I liked the most she told me it was the only one left of a retied design and I wouldn't be promised the dress if I left the store. I was told It is the store policy dresses could not be put on hold. I wasn't 100 % ready to make the dress commitment but these comments to push me to buy the dress. Boy am I a sucker! What really turned me off at this place was the alterations department. The dress luckily fit me very well and did not need altered other than the bustle. Once the dress was pinned up, someone in my party noticed the sides of the dress were uneven. When this was brought up to the attendant, there was a bit of an augment. My dress was eventually repined evenly. When I came back after the alterations were complete, the bustle was sewn in wrong needing to be altered again! 3 appointment for a dress that only needed a bustle in the first place. I felt the alterations department was annoyed with me and the issues with my dress. I feel overall I got exactly what to expect from a big box bridal store. read more

I'll admit I did not expect to be wow-ed by an experience at David's Bridal. I didn't necessarily have any reason not to, but sometimes the only opinions that you hear about a place are the negative ones. I have purchased several bridesmaid's dresses from David's in the past, and have never once had reason to complain. In fact, while shopping at a more boutique shop in the past, I felt bad for fellow bridesmaids that weren't "sample size" that couldn't even put on the dresses. David's always has something in your size, whatever that may be. I attribute the great experience I had while shopping for my own bridal gown to Ann Kinder at the Easton David's. I had my first appointment, with a different consultant, about a year ago. I was not finding any gowns in the style I was looking for and did not end up having much luck. Recently, I became serious and over a weekend made about 6-7 different appointments so I could find and order my dress. I wanted to give David's another chance, because they were offering a discount following the local bridal show. Ann was wonderful in the way she treated myself, my family, and my bridesmaids. I did not want to look at any dresses on racks, I told her I just wanted to show her the pictures I liked and I wanted her to find dresses for me. After trying on about 4 dresses that were all what I asked for and I liked them all at least a little, she had me try on a dress she picked for me at the beginning and it was perfect. I was not ready to commit right away, but Ann was very nice to me and everyone with me and supportive of my feelings. She even juggled me and my little sister in back to back bridal appointments and gave a little special time to one of my bridesmaids that will be looking for a wedding gown soon. She made them feel important and helped them look for dresses, while still focusing on me and making the whole experience very special for my mom and I. I kept a couple more appointments and tried on a few more dresses, but in the end I went back to Ann. If you are lucky enough to get her as a consultant I think you will have a wonderful experience. read more

On 4/28/15 I went to the Morse Road location for alteration. I met with Gina, whom I adored. She was so nice and did amazing work pinning my heavily layered gown. Gina made me feel so confident in my dress. A little back story... I was a size 6 and now a size 10 after having my daughter. I had a few appointment with the Sawmill location where the sales reps made me feel like a COW telling me to purchase a new dress. Then they attempted to use their alterations department as back up to encourage me to buy a new dress!!! It was horrible!!! I felt ambushed because I originally purchased my dress in PA. This was NEVER the case with anyone at Morse Road. The sales reps, alterations and manager were all so nice and never once pushed anything on me. They actually thought I was a little insane to look for another gown. I explained my previous experience to the Alterations manager Angelina ensured me both locations are now under new management so there was nothing to worry about. I go back for final alterations end of this month. Will post update!! read more

This was the worst shopping experience I have had in quite a while. I had three girlfriends with me for a day of fun and bridal shopping and one of them came from out of town. I was told my online appointment was canceled by their system so I wasn't scheduled to be there, but they would fit me in anyway. Okay... I think our stylist's name was Jen? She asked me what I was looking for and I gave her three style numbers that I pulled from the website. One of which was supposed to be an "in-store exclusive" so you'd think it would be in store? It wasn't. She didn't pull any of the dresses I mentioned. She didn't pull any dresses AT ALL. She was frazzled and looked like she couldn't keep up with what she was doing. I understand that bridal places can be a mad house on the weekends, but I am an easy customer. I knew exactly what I wanted and tried to make it easy on her. I asked if she could call the other David's Bridal to see if they had the dress I wanted, she said yes, left for ten minutes, came back and told me she forgot the style number. I gave it to her again, she left, came back in 15 minutes and said their online system had frozen which was why it took so long, but that no one had my dress in my size or a close size and I couldn't even order it in my size because they won't make this dress over a size 18??? I was shopping in their "plus-sized" section which lists up to size 30 and they won't even MAKE this dress above a size 18? She shrugged like she didn't know what else to do. Didn't pull any other dresses or try to help in some way so that my trip wasn't wasted for nothing. It was. This experience is shameful. Look at all the other reviews and ask yourself if this is really where you want to purchase your dress. Nothing but stress and headaches. read more

Like many brides, this was the first place I went looking for a dress. I got polite service. The gowns themselves were absolutely underwhelming, though I didn't realize that until I went to Wendy's. I always get good customer service on the phone here, even though I've had to call and change appointment times a ton of times and they must be annoyed with me by now. When I tried on dresses and didn't like something, I felt that the consultant sort of tried to "talk me into it" - whereas at Wendy's, the moment I expressed doubt, my consultant disappeared into the racks finding something better. I became disenchanted when I brought my matron of honor here to find her dress. We had made an appointment because I thought you had to, but our experience was no different than if we had just walked in unannounced. I'm not sure if we technically had a consultant. There was a woman who would wander by occasionally and help us if we looked helpless enough. I think it's a big mistake that their consultants are always multi-tasking different parties. I came back again to find undergarments for my wedding dress. I had ordered a longline bra from their site that fit ABYSMALLY - and I was not able to return it due to their site not functioning right and refusing to accept the order number I inputted. Whatever, not this location's fault. Anyway, it was an emergency situation because my dress fitting was the next day so I needed a bra right away, which I figured would not be a problem as the site specifically said most of them were available in store and online. Based on my experience with my matron of honor I did not bother making an appointment. No one was at the front desk, and the longline bras are not out on display, so getting any help was again a matter of wandering around looking helpless until someone notices (they are always busy with others because they are understaffed or something, so I can't go up to them and ask). When I DID get some help, she went into the curtained area and figured out they didn't have any in the size needed (34B - nothing unusual) and went to check the back or something. This took quite some time, I'm not exactly sure where she went. She produced some 34Cs to try, gave them to me, and left. Now, I don't know if any of you have ever tried to put on what is basically a girdle by yourself before, but it's not really something that should be attempted! Think a normal bra with 12X the number of hooks and specifically designed to be really tight. So I stood there in what is basically underwear for several minutes before she finally came back. After getting the input of a seamstress, we figured out that one didn't work with my body, and tried the other one (I actually did get help putting this one on), and we discovered it to be slightly too big - meaning I would need a 32C rather than a 34. Of course they did not have this size in the store, OR at the Sawmill location, and the only solution they offered was the privilege of paying $35 for them to alter the already $60+ bra (which, I might add, was kind of ugly). I don't understand why you wouldn't keep such normal sizes in stock. These aren't things you want to be buy without trying on, so it is vital for them to be available in store, not just online - which I learned the hard way! Went to my alteration appointment and they said we owed $700 for the alterations. When I explained the salesperson told us they were included to the store manager she said "no the fuck they didn't".
