Great quality paint, but customer service is lacking... When we decided to paint the exterior of our house, our painter told us he prefers to use Dunn-Edwards Paint. We were excited to look at color samples, and immediately hopped on the website to see what they had. We picked out a few colors that night, and then went to the store the next day. Please note: what appears online and/or the paint cards is not always the same color of the actual paint. With that being said, we entered the store, no hi, hello, or welcome. We made our way to the samples and started looking. No one asked us if we needed any help or anything. The only time we were talked to was at the actual time of purchasing the paint samples. Quite disappointing. With that being said, we made due on our own. As for the paint...OMG my house looks beautiful. The colors are so rich. Excellent quality products. Of course it helps to have a great painter too!

Kiko Aguirre is amazing. If you're thinking about having your house painted and need help choosing the right colors for your exterior or interior, look no further and come to THIS Dunn-Edwards store. We just remodeled our converted garage which was originally done in 1968, long before we purchased the house. The room had wood paneling all around, a drop ceiling and carpeted floor. Kiko helped us choose the right colors for the palette we had in mind (as well as the right primer,) and it turned our beautifully! Kiko's assistance did not end with the initial consultation. The overall project took several months, which included having drywall ceiling installed with new lighting, a mini-split for A/C & heating and having our laundry room completely remodeled. Some of the paneling had to be touched up after all of the work was done, so we had to purchase a bit more paint. We're actually closer to the Glendora store, so I went there to purchase a quart in the color and sheen that we needed. I showed the guy at the counter a photo of the exact model pain we needed, and a few minutes later left the store with a quart of what I assumed was the correct paint. It was very clear that the new paint did not match what had just been applied to the walls a few months before. I reached out to Kiko for help, and shared the photos of comparison. Kiko had me provide her with photos of the labels from the original can and the quart replacement, and she quickly uncovered the problem - the Glendora store had sold me the wrong paint. Apparently, quarts are only available in Suprema which did not match the Spartawall (which is only available in 1 gallon or 5 gallons) which had been previously applied. Kiko shared the info with her Manager Kira Membrino, who agreed to provide a gallon of Spartawall in the right color and sheen at no charge so we could finish our project. The paint matched perfectly, so all painting is now now complete to allow us to focus on redecorating. We're overjoyed with the result. Please see the before and after photos below. Thanks Kiko & Kira!

Irene at the register were most helpful, she and the other employee helped me calculate the rooms measurements. I have no idea that measuring a room size was difficult then I had imagined. Irene were patience while I called my son again to re measure the room the way we were supposed to. Kiko at design center helped us select some paint color to match my gray tiles. She suggested two tones of grays both in the brown family. We decided to go with one of her color selections and it looked so beautiful on.

Today and yesterday I visited the store and Emmanuel provided exceptional service! I walked in 10 minutes before closing and I wasn't push out or felt rushed! He took his time and offered to have my paint selections ready first this this morning! I really like their colors and the quality of their paint compared to their competitors! However, some paints, supplies and materials can be a little more expensive than at most places! But service and quality for sure 5 stars! Thank you Emmanuel!

His first pick matched my cabinets perfectly -- spot on, right away. But he didn't stop at the color: he knew a gel stain would be the right type of product for my situation, and he took the time to educate me on how it works and why it was the best fit. Then he went above and beyond -- he put a sample right on my cabinet door so I could see it for myself, and it matched flawlessly. That kind of care and confidence in his craft is rare. Here's the part that really stuck with me: before meeting Shawn, I'd had "experts" come out and quote me over $1,000 to re-stain and touch up my cabinets, and I was about to go that route. Thanks to Shawn's advice, I didn't even need a full refinish -- I just touched up a couple of spots and I was ready to go. Everything he selected was perfect, and the whole job was far easier than I expected. He saved me money and gave me a better result. Excellent customer service and genuine product knowledge -- a combination that's so hard to find these days. Shawn, thank you for your expertise, your patience, and for going the extra mile. If you need anything paint or stain related, ask for Shawn. You won't regret it.

My rating is for the customer service experience at the Ontario store (Holt and Mountain),…read morespecifically with the store manager, Tad. I was a customer at the E. Foothill (Upland) Paint Bucket for over 30 years. I've been a competent DIY painter for decades. I learned how to do faux finishes directly from the staff at the Upland store. They guided me to Benjamin Moore paints, the proper tools and techniques to achieve a Mediterranean colorwashed look, using glaze over paint. I've colorwashed most of my (two-story, 3-bdrm) home, updating twice. I'm currently remodeling two bathrooms. I went to the Ontario store with my contractor, Alyssa (Kitchen Medic), knowing EXACTLY the look and colors I wanted. Tad steered us to Benjamin Moore Aura paint; since I'm doing bathrooms, I agreed. He also advised us to use a MATTE finish, and to tint the glaze using the same color as the base wall color (Starry Night Blue). I wanted a very deep, mysterious look, like a Moroccan spa. I'm using Moroccan zellige tiles and wanted the painted walls in a similar color. My painter used a tinted primer and two coats of matte paint. He then glazed one wall, following Tad's directions precisely (we mixed paint to glaze in a 1:4 ratio, crosshatching it on). After 24 hours, there was absolutely NO trace of the glaze. NONE! The wall had "swallowed" it! Simple research on the internet (and speaking with experienced painters) advised NEVER glaze over matte finish, for precisely the reason we saw: it absorbs the glaze. Furthermore, glazing with the same color as the base coat (which I admit went against my instincts; I'd never done that before, but assumed that Tad was an expert) is NOT advised, since it provides little to no contrast. Alyssa returned to the Paint Bucket to speak with Tad and...the results weren't pretty. Tad did not admit that he'd given us poor advice, causing us to lose days of drying time and effort, not to mention the expense of buying Ben Moore most expensive paint in the WRONG finish. When Alyssa reminded him that we'd shown him photos and explained in detail the look and finish we wanted, he simply shrugged. He didn't offer to rectify his error in any way, offering to refund what I'd paid, or cover the cost of the replacement paint and clear coat primer I need to use to "save" my bathroom without having to start over from scratch. No apology obviously --not even an acknowledgement. To have this poor level of customer service from a family-owned business that I've used for decades, and upon whose expertise and KINDNESS I've ALWAYS been able to count, was infuriating and disappointing. BUYER BEWARE of the manager in the Ontario Paint Bucket store.
