First of all the manager was sick! He claimed to have a cold and did not care when we asked him to wear a mask to protect others from getting infected! He said that wearing a mask is a courtesy and he did not have to wear one because it is not the law! When requested recommendations for the type of paint he acted like he didn't know and he certainly did not care! worst done Edwards store ever not one person in the whole store knows what they're doing. They're the worst customer service you could ever Possibly have I went there last week. I was the only one in the store ordered. Paint sat there for about 40 minutes two other people come in order paint they both get their paint, so I go to the counter and ask whatever happened to mine they forgot to make it. I was the only person in the store, so then I come back yesterday a week later knowing what happened to me the week before so I will call it. I go there an hour later to pick it up they didn't make it. Nobody knows anything about running a business there nor do I know anything about paint , I've been a contractor for 42 years and I've gone to a lot of Dunn Edwards over my years. I have never quite experienced anything like this one worst customer service ever I would never go back there again. I guess if I want Dunn Edwards paint I would have to drive all the way to West Covina Jeff the manager out there has been with Dunn Edwards forever. He's awesome and so is the whole crew. Greeted immediately and was turned over Silvia Puga, Professional Color Specialist. We sat down and she found three winners for me and now the challenge is which winner. First sample is no charge and the other two were about $5.00 each and very generous samples. Interior first and then going for exterior. When she learned my home is a mid century style she suggested some wonderful mid century color themes that were part of homes on a city wide tour in Palm Springs. That's in a brochure with all the homes featured. Another thing Silvia suggested was great. It's 3 fabric sheets in white attached to an adhesive back the size of 8x10". So you paint them with the sample and go stick it on walls and it removes easily w/o damaging the surface. Flexible to bend or wrap as well. Silvia was so helpful and so was everyone else. This Dunn Edwards is a great store and I've always appreciated the quality of the paint. read more

We decided to have the exterior of our house painted, so I looked at Dunn Edwards paints online to get an idea of the colors they offered. After deciding on a few, I went into this store so that I could see the color cards for in person. I was assisted by Sinai, who made searching through all of the color cards so much quicker, which was appreciated. I decided on (3) colors, which I purchased samples for; the paint samples were mixed quickly. I ended up going into this location 2-3 more times to look at additional colors and purchase additional samples; Sinai was there each time and was so patient and helpful. She was also able to create a mock up of our home with the desired colors (after I emailed her a photo of our house) so that I could see what it would look like, which was a tremendous help. I love the colors we ended up choosing, our house looks great. Sinai was fantastic--and her suggestion (based on what I said I was looking for) for our trim color was perfect. I love it. I would definitely go to this location again. read more

I was referred to this place for paint. The guy who answers the phone was very rude and short with me. I ordered my samples and they were ready that day. When I went to pick them up the young girl at the desk was very helpful and friendly. They kept asking for my account number and I didn't have one. I was a first time customer. The next day I called to order the paint I decided to go with. The same guy answered the phone. The paint was ready within the hour. There was a different guy who was at the desk when I went in to pick up the gallon. He was very friendly as well and offered to carry it out to my car. I guess it just depends on which employee you get. Prices were a little on the higher side but the paint looked great on my walls. read more

Not sure why the review is so bad... People are nice and helpful everytime I've visited. Compared to big box stores, the staff here are definitely much more knowledgeable and helpful. I've purchased many paint from here and have been satisfied. I do have to say we like Benjamin Moore paint better though. We find Benjamin Moore paint's color to match pictures better than Dunn Edwards paint on a few occasions. So if you do purchase paint here, try a small sample size first and paint on multiple walls to determine if you have the correct color. They have free color sample coupon on Yelp... I've used it a few times and they've always given it to me. read more

I love Dunn Edwards and buy paint frequently, but this particular store is terrible. They are rude and very slow. One time I ordered paint and came to pick it up an hour later and it still wasn't ready! Their excuse was their paint mixer was on lunch (you only have one guy to mix paint?!) they always seem to be busy even though no one is ever in the store. They treat contractors better than civilians. If you want great service from Dunn Edwards.. just make the drive to the one in Rancho of Etiwanda. The 20 min drive will be faster than waiting at this location. This location needs better management and to RE-train all the employees on good customer service read more

Went to this Dunn Edwards location two different times. The first time, the lady talked me out of getting the paint samples I wanted by saying that they would all look the same. However, if I want to buy them I should not feel intimidated. FYI, they all looked extremely different on the walls. Anyways, we stopped by a second time to grab a few painters cards when our original plan fell through. She jumped on our case and said we needed to step back and stay 6 feet apart with masks. Both times she was very rude and does nothing for their business. If the owner were there, I don't think they would appreciate the attitude she has. read more

Received great customer service at this Dunn Edwards location! Sylvia helped me on 3 occasions with choosing the right color for my project. She explained in detail how lighting could effect the look of the finished product and gave advise on what type of finish would be best for each room and area that needed painting. The gentleman that handled our purchase was friendly and informative as well. He made sure we didn't buy too much paint for the project as our painter had requested we buy a bit more than would have actually been needed. I was looking for a way to dispose my paint, I called this store and the associate told me that they do accept it and gave me even directions how to get there. When I got there, all the employees at the front desk were very helpful, specially, Desiree, I believe, her name is. well , I will just say although I was there not to give any business rather they were the ones who were doing me a favor, and still they really treated me as if I was their biggest customer of the day. and that my friends is what matters to most of us. I visited this store on Saturday. I have been going in circles with trying to figure out the right color of paint for my master bedroom. We already painted it once a month ago and it looks horrible. Color clashes to say the leJennifer the PCA helped me tremendously. She gave me really quick color theory lesson to better understand what I was trying to achieve. I went in there with a few ideas of what I thought I wanted. I showed Jennifer a picture of the furniture that will be in the room and I expanded my ideas after she showed me several different combinations. Needless to say I am thrilled by the samples up on the wall. Her service was top notch and she is very patient. I asked her what her educational background was and she explained part of her degree program included the theory of color and design. It's awesome to see young professionals passionate about their jobs. She will be my go to person for sure. Great experience with Dunn-Edwards and received my samples quickly as well. read more

Went in to this paint store for yet another sample of paint, trying to find the perfect Tiffany Blue color. There were no other customers in the store, and the Color Expert helped me right away. She sat with me and my sample Tiffany box and helped me find a perfect match, called Fountain City. My sample was ready in five minutes. Seems as if the women run the store here according to most reviews.. Thats great because when I went in just a couple of dudes.. Which were very rude btw.. I have been a DE customer for several years and this gentlemen I dealt with does not remind me of the DE I know.. All I wanted was a color wheel, which are free.. Upon request I was promptly asked for my account, even though I have one just wanted to see where this would go so I said I didnt.. It was a more heavyset gentlemen at the front. He quickly proclaimed I need an account to get one, fine! But he actually tried to sell me it!! I was beside myself! Us as pro painters selling THEIR products and they wont give out colorwheels!? To top it off they didnt even have any! Never have I had an issue with any company giving me a wheel as they are pleased for me to market their paint. Idk..
