don't use home depot for any home improvement projects if something goes wrong they won't fix it i did a new floor project the installation team they sent was a nightmare they ruined a lot of my furniture, put a hole in the wall, ruined some of my baseboards,broke my light broke my toilet,deep scratches in my new kitchen floor, and a discoloration in my floors that looks horrible and won't come out nobody is doing anything even though i have told them the same day how horrible the floor was and everything that happened and have called every day and i gave them the pool bathroom key but instead they peed in the house in the floor ring in the ground and put toilet paper down it for 4 days so it didn't clog my toilet when it gets put back on I had to dig my hand in there and take all of that peep toilet paper out of there cause there was so much is disgusting. they ruined my alarm system had to have alarm company come out. 4 weeks now and they have still have not cometo replace my floor because nothing else could be done to fix it.or given me money for alarm system and electrician to come out and put a new light in and the plumber, they say it's not an installation issue. They did a great job installing the floors they say and it's not a product issue they say They're passing the blame on me even for the damages i've even talked to corporate. They haven't really did anything yet. These are the managers and directors. I went here yesterday with a friend. I was able to get quotes and looks at different Tuff Sheds that they offer. After looking at them, I went into the store. It is a great location. It is very clean as I walked inside and outside. It seems like this place was easy to find workers to help inside and is in a great and safe location. In the past, I have got a few sets of window blinds here. I like the thick paneled ones as they don't break as easy. I also saw some items that I could get here for future use as home cleaning supplies. This is the best Home Depot I have ever shopped at! Definitely will be back here again soon! read more

This may have been the most unprofessional and ridiculous interaction i've had at a store. My husband was using the restroom as myself and my toddler were waiting outside the restroom on the bench sitting down. An employee (couldn't get his name) but i'll describe as a 5'7, bald, hispanic, hefty man aggressively accused my husband of stealing because "multiple people" told him that they heard someone opening something. His first words were "I heard you opening something in there, what is it" aggressively. You know what he was opening? A small package of water wipes I gave my husband to wipe his butt. My husband said, "It's none of your business" as the methods of wiping his butt do not pertain to an employee. His aggressive demeanor persisted as he followed us for 3-4 minutes, which made me feel unsafe, so we showed him the wipes. To accuse a customer of stealing this aggressively with no other evidence , and asking to see what's in their pockets is absurd. My husband has worked as security for high profile clients so he knows his rights and knew this employee was extremely out of line. I'm not sure what this store has to deal with when it comes to theft, but this was uncalled for. Never coming here again and plan to escalate this issue. read more

Yesterday, I was on my way home and dropped by this Home Depot to buy some drano type solution for my Mom's bathroom sink. She's been having drain clog issues. I specifically was looking for the Green Gobbler Drain Clog Remover. I remember this brand worked really well with a toilet clog I had a while back. Well, it turns out Home Depot no longer carries the industrial potency version of the Green Gobbler (normally $40+) in their stores. Hence, I was going to get the lighter potency version of it for $12+... it probably would have taken me 2 or 3 rounds in order to get the clog taken care of LOL. I asked the staff member who was nearby me if there is a brand he would recommend. He said Instant Power is the brand he uses and it has worked well for his drain clog issues. It was $13+ which isn't much more than the Green Gobbler's price. I said why not... so I got the Instant Power instead. It has this printed on the bag that holds the bottle, "GUARANTEED to work or it's FREE!" Wow... now that's confidence! LOL It did work... drain clog no longer exists! No freebie for me LOL. Thank you staff member for your recommendation! Thank you Instant Power for your guarantee! I don't normally visit Home Depot unless I have to pick up something specific. Avoid cashier Lidy (long grey hair and arm tattoos). So unbelievably rude and zero customer service. I've been to this Home Depot 4 times this week alone and will be going to the Euclid location from now on. Was walking towards registers to check out and there was a line for self checkout. Lidy opened a register and called for next in line. The next two people in line stayed in line for self checkout and the third person began to walk towards the number 5 register. I began to walk towards the registers to line up behind the third person in line. Lidy stuck her hand out in front of me and said "there's a line" to which I said yes they are waiting for self checkout. At what point can I get in the non self checkout line. This review is specifically for Fabian in appliance sales. We took copious pictures of the hookups to bring with us to show Fabian our home outlets and hookup connections. We asked to purchase a fridge that would fit the settings. We purchased a refrigerator and washer dryer and confirmed several times that what we purchased would fit in the settings. Delivery driver tells us that it's not the proper hose...so we call Fabian back and let him know that we need the correct hose. Fabian and Home Depot took no responsibility and suggested we call a plumber to fix our irregular settings. Paid extra to have washer and dryer doors open the same way. See pics...that didn't happen either. Beyond frustrating and I suggest that you buy large appliances from someone who knows what they are talking about. **Update** Fixed the issue that we "needed a plumber for" with an 11.00 part. On Tuesday April 22nd 2025 around 5pm we walked into the store to purchase 8 5 gallon paint to metal buckets of paint. We went up to the paint department and asked if they had 8 buckets of 5 gallon paint, they had 6 on the floor and the rest were up on a pallet. Ralf was assisting us and when we requested 2 more to complete the 8 he said it would take a while in an annoyed tone. From the beginning it looked like he didn't want to help us. We said that was fine and he sighed in an annoyed manner. We took the 6 to the paint department to be prepared while they got a fork lift to bring down the ones that were on a pallet up on the rack. We then waited 30 minutes just for them to come up to us and request that we have to pay before they can prepare our paint. We asked them why and he said it was store policy. Then we informed him that we went to a Home Depot and purchased 8 buckets and they never requested us to pay first. We proceeded to go back and forth he then said you do realize these buckets are $200+ each after a little going back and forth he agreed to prepare the buckets keeping us there waiting for another 30 minutes. Once our paint was ready he walked us up to the cash register and didn't leave until he saw that the payment was approved. We were racially discriminated and profiled while trying to purchase $1600 worth of paint. I have never experienced racial discrimination and profiling in this matter in my life, while paying with a Company American Express card wasting company time and putting my job on the line. But I guess it's Home Depot's store policy, according to Ralph, or maybe it's because of the way I look in the area this Home Depot is located; he didn't think we could possibly pay for the paint we had requested. read more

I always have a good experience coming to this location and I actually drive a little bit further to come here because I prefer it rather than the one near my house. This specific time was the absolute best! I was assisted by Mary in appliances and she was so kind, knowledgeable, personable and patient with me. She helped me pick out a stove hood, dishwasher and trash pull out for my new kitchen. On top of that she even supported me by calling the HD credit line to combine the purchases to make sure I got the 0% interest promotional offer AND she was so considerate that I was in a hurry to pick up my dog from the vet. On 10/06/22 at approx 1720 hours, I went to the Home Depot in North upland CA. I wanted to get a new door for my house. I go to the door section to get a door. I found the one I wanted but the door was dented. I saw there was another door but it was on the elevated shelve. So I go to the guy on his phone sitting at the desk in the Door / Window section. I asked him if he could please get a door down for us. He's exact answer was "What do you want me to do about it? In a loud irritated voice. He said it in a way I stood quiet and I was literally getting mad about to yell back at him. Then he said "that was pretty good huh"? WTH is this! This how employees treat customers. I just wanted my door. He then realized I think what he did and got up and I showed him the door. He then said ok we'll go that way so I can get it. I have never ever been treated like this before in any store in my life. What is this! It was a older male who if really large in stature. I don't want to ever get my doors and windows here. I think I found the employee of the month at the Upland Home Depot on 19th and his name is Steve. I want to recognize Steve in the electrical department at the Home Depot on 19th. Steve was able to understand what I needed before I could really explain the situation to him, he made sure I got all the parts and answered all my questions. He was so patient and helpful. I knew next to nothing about the electrical parts I needed and he helped me get all the parts together and how they will all work together. I really feel confident that I have everything I need to get the job done and won't have to stop my project in the middle and make another run to HD. This location is nice because it's off the 210 freeway by the mountain and even though Home Depot is always busy I prefer this one over the one on Foothill because it seems less busy than the others further south. We came here looking to get slats for a new bed frame and were able to find one of the Home Depot employees to help us. We took the wood up to the front to pay for it and the cashier, this young girl with glasses, was really funny/nice and laughed at us pretending to hit the leftover wood like we were going to karate chop it. She then told us that monks train to do this and she knew this because she fell down the TikTok Time Warp on monks. Could not find AA lithium on the kiosk so I asked a male cashier who was standing around outside of his work station and his replay to me was "if you don't see it we don't have it" and walked away! I rarely make 1-star reviews but this has been bugging me for a few years, this review goes back to 2018ish. I don't even know if this person still works here but an older grey/white-haired man by the name of Pete/Peter in the Garden Center is a handsy creep! I went into this Home Depot to ask about a specific brand of soil (Black Gold) and was told the Pete fella could help me because he's been there a while and knows his soils. As I'm asking my question and standing on his right side facing the sliding doors on the inside part of the Garden Center, this creep put his creepy old man's hand on me, he cupped his creepy hand on my left shoulder, ran his creepy old man's hand down to my elbow, and squeezed my elbow. So very gross. So very unprofessional. So very violating. I can still feel it in my memory. What the blueberry flapjacks? Who does this? Creepy old men do, that's who. I reacted by jerking back and stating loudly "I don't like being touched by people I don't know!!!!" Two other employees (both women) who were within earshot turned to look at him. He looked a little surprised but pretended nothing happened and just kept talking. Pete/Peter told me they don't carry that brand and some other stuff about soil, I didn't want to be anywhere near him so I started backing away, told him "thanks", and backed away from the inside portion of the garden center to the sliding doors, all this time he creep was yell-talking at me about soils, not sure if he stopped after I was out of the doors. This inappropriate touching, it's stuck with me, the nerve of this old man to think he can touch people. I'm guessing he only does this to people who present as women. I have far too many creepy old men like this do this to me over the years and I'm just so tired of it. Or maybe not, maybe he just touches everyone within arm's length. Either way, it is the worse thing to experience. Home Depot, you need to do a better job of training the old men that work for you not to touch people, especially women. Going into your store does not give consent to being touched in any way. Yes, I know not all men or old men are creeps like old man Pete but enough are. Even if there's only one, that is one too many. These men should not work in a place where they have access to humans. You might wonder why didn't write up a review back in 2018 when it happened and it is because I didn't have the bandwidth to deal with creepy old men that year, or the next, or two after that but now I do and I hope that by stating what happened to me I can stop feeling his stupid old man hand on my shoulder, arm, and elbow whenever I see a Home Depot. read more

Curb side pickup needs to pickup their game a bit. They never being it out in a reasonable amount of time

The manger is rude. Also If you do the curbside pickup about 80% of the time I end up walking in and waiting in line, this is after 2-3 songs have played in the radio. What is a reasonable amount of time... 5 minutes for something small 10 for something large. The way I look at it if I can walk in purchase the item (obviously being a regular to the store you know where it is) and walk out.. vs waiting. Picked up an online order here for my brother and was conveniently given the option of having the receipt emailed. As I was leaving, Olya stopped me and asked for a receipt when I told her it was emailed to my brother's account she then had me wait to confirm the purchase even after I showed her a screenshot of the order number with proof of payment yet I was unable to leave until the manager came & was treated as a thief since it didn't have a "yellow sticker". If customers are going to be treated so disrespectfully due to a simple mistake of not adding a sticker we should not be offered an emailed receipt. Very inconvenient, waste of my time, and embarrassing situation being treated as if I'm trying to steal something. read more

Came to the Upland (19th St.) store to buy power tools. Went to the tool aisle and found what I needed. Behind a locked cage. I looked for a orange vest to help me, none to be found. So, I go to the person staffing the self checkout. When I asked her to page someone to help me, she acted like I was ruining her day watching people check themselves out. She sends her page and I go back to wait. And wait. And wait. After 15 minutes, I return to the same person staffing the self the checkout. When I say "excuse me" to her, she turns around and angrily says "what!" and then turns away. Wow... So, I go to the front return desk and ask for a manager. The person pages a manager.
