Erin from Family Therapy Solutions is an absolute godsend -- I truly can't recommend her enough. I…read morefirst found her on Yelp and then came across her videos on YouTube, which really stood out. After a bit of back and forth with my healthcare provider, I was finally able to get Erin approved as my primary therapist -- and I'm so glad I did. She's the real deal: kind, but no-nonsense. Erin tells it like it is -- no sugarcoating -- and gives honest, practical, real-world advice that comes from deep experience. She's professional, direct, and incredibly insightful. Whether it's individual, couples, or family therapy -- especially for those in public safety or military circles -- Erin brings a deep understanding and a grounded approach to each session. She listens closely and stays focused on the issue at hand. Sessions are typically an hour long and always feel productive -- there's no wasted time or empty filler. My first session with her was during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, and while I did meet her in person once at her Clovis office, we've continued sessions via FaceTime ever since -- which has worked seamlessly. What I appreciate most is that Erin is not judgmental -- she hears both sides of a situation and helps us find realistic, usable solutions. It's clear she genuinely cares about our mental health and well-being. And when the medical system doesn't come through the way it should... Erin does. I'll just leave it at that. It's comforting to know she's only a phone call away when things get heavy and you need real, grounded feedback from someone you trust. If you're looking for a therapist who cuts through the noise, brings clarity, and truly has your back -- Erin is it. Five stars all the way.

She is honest, insightful, relatable and calls you out on your junk in the best way possible. She is easy to get ahold of and flexible with scheduling. Stay away!!! Would give 0 stars if I could. I normally never write reviews but I am doing this…read moresolely because of this mans profession and the damage he can do to people. My wife spoke with him on the phone, explained some serious problems she had , and made a appointment with him. I called him the next day and asked if he took our insurance. Told me to call my insurance company. I asked him if he takes any insurance whatsoever. He very rudely told me to have my wife see someone else. This person is supposed to be helping people with serious life problems. If he does not know something as simple as if he takes insurance, and gets upset with the question enough to cancel a appointment of someone he knows needs help, I am very scared of what kind of advice or influence he can have on people's lives. Please stay away, for your own sake.

I received 1 voicemail from him in which he mentioned that he in fact would be working on the Monday following Veterans Day if I was available, to which I responded also in voicemail that I was not available that day. Today he said he did receive my voicemail and called me back he doesn't know why I didn't receive the voicemail but that he called me to tell me that he rescheduled our appointment for Monday. Obviously he was lying about calling me because why would he schedule an appointment when I had made it clear that I wouldn't be available that day and that I would see him at the agreed upon time and date. I make all my appointments as I'm speaking to people and confirm prior to ending the conversation. This being said I arrived at my initial appointment and he told me I was an hour late and my wife and I were both sure of the appointment time. Completely unprofessional. I too would give zero stars if it were possible.

I had two sessions for marriage counseling with Lisa and I would not recommend her to anyone…read more The first session was ok...ish however I could tell it was not in a professional setting. She was on her phone and it looked like she was sitting on her bed while trying to conduct the counseling session. At the end Lisa requested a one-on-one intake appointment with myself and my wife (this is a reasonable request with no concerns). When I logged into the online counseling session the first several minutes the camera was swinging next to her leg as she was walking from her vehicle along a chain link fence. When Lisa acknowledged the session started she let me know she was picking up her grandchildren from school (elementary school age children). She was walking with her grandchildren while asking me to explain very personal details about my marriage. She then got into her single cab vehicle with two grandchildren while on the video call with me. I asked Lisa if the call was private because I didn't feel comfortable talking about my past with her grandchildren. I was informed that her phone had a audio filter so her grandkids cant hear. Lisa was not wearing headphones or earbuds and I could tell the phone was on speaker as it was being held at arms length (still while driving). When Lisa arrived to her home she was continuing to ask me probing questions while getting her grandchildren settled. When we were finally "alone" Lisa's grandchild walked outside several times and into the video frame. Yes, Lisa asked them to go back inside and give her time but I feel we were already way past professionalism lines at this point. To be honest I was very uncomfortable, somewhat horrified and I froze when I should have ended the session as soon as it was not private. I have already reported this to my individual therapist at the VA and she is angry. Lisa broke confidentiality and is being reported to the ethics board. She should not have a license. Stay away!

I was introduced to Lisa Dines through an online dating site. We text, talked on the phone, and…read morewould video chat. I was very intrigued by her intelligence and spirituality. Lisa was looking to relocate to Colorado, where I live, to fulfill her zodiac meant to be of some sort... I offered her my home to stay as she searched for an office where she could "live and work". While living with me, Lisa dove in full force taking over my home and life. She immediately ran off my mom who was my primary help with my two kids at the time in middle and elementary school. She took down all the pictures on my walls that did not comply with her feng shui ideals. My linens and even shower curtains were replaced, at my expense to comply. Lisa found a white board in my son's room and created a chore chart that was strictly enforced. I was required to immediately quit drinking permanently and cold turkey. Not a single even non alcoholic beverage to help with the transition. While living with us, Lisa continued to council one lesbian couple online, right in front of us. She set up a desk in the corner of the living room where she "worked" and became a dictator of my family. Lisa set up a joint checking account that I funded so she could buy groceries etc. While I was working, Lisa dove into going through ALL of the storage bins in my basement. The items in these bins that hadn't been touched in years were then integrated into my drawers and closets. My junk drawers were so full. I freaked out a little and Lisa went into a weeping, you don't appreciate me thing. One day I arrived home from work and asked Lisa if she could possibly park her truck in front of my house rather than in my neighbor's favorite spot... This resulted in the biggest weeping screaming rage that I have ever seen. This was also right in front of my son. By this time Lisa had rented a closet sized office near by, at my expense, that she would rage off and stay in. One day I came home from work and Lisa surprised me with hotel reservations in Hawaii, yes Hawaii, that she had purchased using the account that I funded for living expenses. I was supposed to be happy about this. Wonder who was going to pay for travel expenses... While Staying with us I would have therapy sessions with Lisa. I revealed childhood trauma, insecurities that Lisa then used against me. After three months Lisa mentioned marriage so that she could enjoy the benefits of my Teamsters Union Employment. She also thought we should move, my home of 15 years was Morgage free, and get a place that was "ours". Finally I cracked, couldn't take it any more. Picked up a six pack of beer, drank it all. Lisa went to stay in her "office". I kept her dog at first and begged her to let me keep Meridith. No go, the dog I would see sitting all day in Lisa's pickup truck outside her tiny office. Eventually one day, the truck was loaded to the gills with everything she owned, once again, and Lisa Dines set off to find her next victim, Lisa Dine thinks everyone should be on Lexipro as she is. My 90 day supply arrived as she was angrily moving out. Odd, I never received it. Hmmm. Lisa had arrived in May and by September had left in a rage. All of her possessions, and quite a few of mine, and everything we had purchased together using my money was piled in a heap rolling out the back door into the garage, literally couldn't close the door, giant pile of clothes, linens, pictures. Lisa insisted that I pay her $1,800.00 (the total money that she had when she arrived in Denver) to leave peacefully. I was very afraid that she would take my fence down again to get her junkie trailer back out of my back yard. I ultimately got stuck with her also junky and broken camper shell. When I had this camper shell returned to the office building parking lot where she was living, Lisa called the police. Said she had gifted this to me. I don't even have a truck... Total insanity!

I am concerned that her advice might be affected by her own beliefs as well, but so far, she's not shown any signs of biased advice. she was not able to relate to me because she has never experienced what I have gone through, herself! I don't know about anyone else, but if I'm getting advice from a person that my company is paying for, I want them to be able to empathize. For example, she told me that when I walk my dogs, really look at the flowers and grass and start noticing little things, and it will make me feel better. She says this a lot, when I've already told her repeatedly that I'm hearing voices in my head! WTF? smelling the roses - equals - crazy being cured! There are other instances of examples, but to be short, let's just go with that. Ask her first if she's been in the same situation as you, if not, then she can't relate. If anyone needs a psychologist, I definitely recommend her. Just don't forget to ask first. so, here's the break down: This is for my own experience only. +1 star for professionalism +1 star for listening skills +1 star for realizing that she is not helping me at all. -1 star for not hearing or understanding what I'm going through. -1 star for the lack of ability to empathize.
