Who does that?! Brooke does. Because she's not just doing her job, she's out here straight-up saving lives and slinging kindness like a superhero with a respiratory degree. She was knowledgeable, professional, and patient as hell (which, let's be honest, is a rare damn combo these days). They also realized when we were ordering that one of the women had picked up some petite pants without realizing it, which is how we'd all fit in this style though we range from 5'0 to 5'6! We had them embroidered. They're beautiful! We've received many compliments from our patients. It's a small shop with few employees, so it does occasionally suffer from too many customers coming in at once with too few employees to assist everyone.

We had different sales people with the exact well-trained sales approaches. "I refuse to sell you a pair of shoes in the size you are requesting." I heard other customers being told that in the store while waiting. I said my shoe felt too large and I could fit my finger behind the heel, I was told that's normal and we have $50 inserts to make the already expensive shoe fit better. My husband chalked it up that he made a bad decision in buying shoes a little too big that cause him to stumble when walking an inside track. I went back to Fleet Feet 1 day past the 30 day/month policy to exchange my shoes because after walking in them 4 times on an inside track, my foot started flopping around in it. I've always worn a 5 - 5.5 and even with realizing my narrow feet got larger with age, I was placed in a size 7. The salesperson could not help me out with an exchange mainly because of the return policy time that was shortened only a month prior to my purchase, and besides they didn't have any size 6 Brooks for the exchange. I went to two other "reputable" shoe stores who measured my feet traditionally. I was told by both stores that I should not be wearing a shoe larger than a 6. So buyer beware. We truly believe that our local Fleet Feet store sells whatever is in stock and we both will know better from now on. It may be great for runners, but not for basic walking.

Second, if you don't want to have people use certain insurance or parts of certain insurance, then post it on your website and take yourself off of the insurance company's website. I spoke with my excellent insurance I have since I retired as a federal agent. This insurance company (Aetna Preferred) informed me that you choose to stay on their website. My wife also has what they call an EYEMED Identifier number which specifically covers her for great eye care. My wife has been going to you for a while. Insurance seems to be an issue with your Business. I never have issues with other places.. If you choose just to take primary medical insurance, then let the customers know. Don't treat the insurance companies like a buffet And pick and choose what parts of what insurance are you going to take. Incidentally, The reason "I"only went there once was because of a similar insurance snafu with MetLife under my fed coverage. It took 20 minutes for the lady at the desk to figure out that I was covered. My wife continued to go there because she liked the convenience and the service. The people who handle insurance need to be schooled and how to handle claims and how to look up who's covered and who's not. Bottom Line.
