She explained everything to me in great detail and showed me pictures of my teeth and gums and did a gum test to see if I had any gum issues. She also taught me the correct way to brush and floss.. I am over 40 and learned so much! I also signed up for Invisalign to straighten my teeth which have been bothering me more and more. My teeth started to shift (I had braces when I was 16 and need my straight teeth back!). They don't have massage chairs or TVs at each chair but the info I learned about my teeth and gums was far more valuable to me. I've never had such a thorough and detailed cleaning.

The first one the long sides of the crown did not hit the gums causing food to get stuck and the short sides were bubbled causing food to be trapped/decay. I replaced the first one at my expense at a year with minimal damage. The second one I am dealing with now. The crown is 3 years old already causing bone loss and destabilizing my implant (I may have to replace the implant). I was eating dinner and a bridge in my mouth came loose. The office did not answer and the answering service took my call. I commend the young lady who took my call for her courtesy and professionalism, however all she could do is schedule me for an appointment a full week from today and tell me she would forward my message to the clinical team. My discomfort and anxiety increased over time so I initiated a live chat on the Stowe dental website with Tisha who was amazing. Tisha told me she was contacting the dentist directly to tell them my situation and although she could not promise anything she would try. I'm disappointed that Stowe Dental does not answer their phones during the posted hours. I received a call back from Tisha and they are able to see me tomorrow at 2pm. She told me they had a cancellation so I could be fit in. My question is this: why can't a dental emergency get fit in irregardless? Would I have been forced to wait a week to be seen? I frantically looked online...."what is the name of that cute dentist office? Ah! I found it! The one that looks like a beach house!" I called and was so happy to hear that they would fit me in the next day. I went in and it feels more like vacation inside.. Dr. Johnston is so nice .... I actually enjoyed this visit to the dentist.
