One side is Dr Alice Ann Kelly's practice, and on the other side, Dr Will Kelly practices. We are patients of Dr Alice Ann Kelly. The entire staff is stellar, from Ellen at the front desk, who is the appointment scheduler and jack-of-all-trades, to each dental assistant and hygienist, to the amazing Dr Alice Ann, the care is second to none! Kelly Dentristry uses state-of-the-art equipment and even have a dental lab in house, so many crowns and other dental appliances are made on the spot. They are gentle and caring, and we truly look forward to seeing everyone when we do our six month checkups and cleanings. It is a medium to small practice, so it is intimate and they take excellent care of their us. Quit dreading going to the dentist, make a change and join the happy Kelly Dentistry patients!

I searched the internet and found dr Kelly and he was able to replace my filling the next day. I've been with him ever since and he does great work that lasts. I am probably the one and only person that likes to go to the dentist. I love having my teeth…read morecleaned, and having procedures doesn't bother me. I have probably some of the worst genetics and results of medications teeth could have. I had one pulled last year, and a cleaning. I found the office to be wonderfully clean the staff super friendly and nice, and for the first time ever I did not have dry socket! Recently, the office called me, they needed to reschedule my cleaning appointment. The woman on the phone apologized profusely, and I said that truly in this climate it was not a problem, I am happy to wait so that someone more urgent can get in. Apparently the woman had been getting horrible comments when she had to call other patients, all kinds of cussing and yelling at her. I told her I was very sorry to hear that, and she will never find that in our home, we understand these things, and anything we can do to help the effort we will do. I thanked her and the Doctor for being IN the office doing the work. She said I made her day, just because I was nice to her. People, if you glean nothing else from my review, please take this away: we all need to be kind to each other, we need to respect each other, and we need to have patience for our professionals who are risking their own health and safety for us. Please be kind.

I'm extremely disappointed with how my appointment was handled…read more I scheduled my appointment on August 24 for September 3 at 3:00 PM. Between then and my appointment, I received multiple confirmations. A text and phone call on August 24, a text and phone call on September 1, and another text confirmation the day before my appointment. With all of those confirmations, I had every reason to believe my appointment was set and that the office had everything correct. Then, on the day of my appointment, I received a call telling me that they could not see me at my scheduled 3:00 PM time because someone had booked me incorrectly and asking if I could come in earlier. I work, and I specifically took time off to be available for this appointment. What makes this even more frustrating is that I didn't even receive 8 hours' notice that THEY needed to change my appointment. What really bothers me is the double standard. Patients are expected to provide at least 24 hours' notice if we need to cancel or reschedule, and otherwise we can be charged a $50 cancellation fee. Yet the office can change or effectively cancel a patient's appointment with less than 8 hours' notice because of an error on their end, after repeatedly confirming the appointment, and there is no consideration for the patient's time or inconvenience. I understand that mistakes happen, but this was not a last-minute scheduling issue that nobody could have known about. The appointment had been confirmed multiple times by both text and phone. There were several opportunities to catch the scheduling error before the day of the appointment. And being the day before a holiday weekend, it honestly left me wondering whether the office simply didn't want to keep a 3:00 PM appointment that day. Whether that was the case or not, that is the impression this situation gave me. My time is just as valuable as theirs. If patients are expected to respect the office's cancellation policy, I believe the office should show the same respect for patients' schedules. Very disappointing experience, especially before I even had the opportunity to become a patient.

I was actually taken in early for my appointment, and the hygienist got to work immediately numbing me and getting set up for the cleaning. I won't go into the gory details, but when Dr. Benning got to work on the fillings and crown, he and his assistant worked like a well-oiled machine. There was no wasted time, and not once did I see anything that looked even remotely like miscommunication between the two. This morning, after all that work, I have no pain whatsoever. Amazing. I found the office very neat and clean and everyone was extremely friendly. I've been to some bad dental offices in the past that left a bad taste in my mouth, but I didn't get any bad or condescending vibes from the staff here. Once again, a super nice and friendly staff with great communication skills. They actually had a dental assistant who was very friendly and introduced me to each person as care was being given. That was actually a very nice touch and I felt very appreciated. They also had someone from billing sit down and explain to me what my insurance covered and talk about payment plans. If you're unsure about where to get dental care or haven't been in awhile, I imagine this would be a pretty good place to start.

What were we doing for 2 years? Well, let me preface this by saying that I have a very stressful job/life which manifests itself in me grinding my teeth to nubs. (When my bottom teeth were done and placed in my mouth I complained to Dr. Current saying that I had horse teeth. He then explained that my bottom teeth were the perfect size and I had ground nubs for so long I had no idea what a tooth should look like) Since I was not going to stop grinding, Dr. Current was tasked with putting teeth in my mouth that (1) did not come out of my mouth and put in a glass every night. I am too vain for that. (2) making teeth for the implants Dr. Nasson put in (another review) that would withstand the force of my grind and (3) make sure they didn't fall out. Yes, I cannot tell you how many times I have spit my teeth into my hands. I acknowledge that I was not always the most pleasant human being to work with and I was stubborn about what I wanted. I learned the difference between "want" and "need". Dr. Current did not want me to need him as much as I would have had I not listened to him. He also refused to do that which would not work just because I said so. He won and I have teeth that do not fall out; are the right size and work. I can actually chew. I had just gotten them all in and went on a cruise. First meal I picked up the crustiest bread you ever saw and found that I was afraid to bite into it. I texted Dr. Current and told him about my fear that they would break. He laughed and said "Please take them out for a spin. Chew! I did and have been chewing every since. I could write for days about this journey. I would post a picture so you could see my teeth but the reality is I do not know how to smile with my teeth showing. I was always self conscious about them. When I try to smile to show off my teeth, I look a tad deranged and possibly feral. When I learn how to smile, I will update this post so you can see for yourselves. Until then, Arcangela

I feel like I have to lead with this bit of personal information: I have MAJOR White Coat Anxiety…read more I avoid going to the dentist until it's too late. Just sitting in a dentist's waiting room makes my heart race and my blood pressure increase. Even just going in for a routine cleaning makes me feel like I might faint. I am a giant man-child at the dentist. The first time I went to Fresh Dental was just over a year ago (my insurance, at the time, had Fresh and Aspen as my in-network options, and I've never heard a positive thing about Aspen). Dr. Dunning sat me down, talked to me, asked me about my concerns, addressed EVERY issue I mentioned, and he was patient and understanding. In fact, EVERYONE from the front desk to the to Dr. Dunning himself treated me with the utmost kindness and respect. I went in thinking I needed a cavity filled, learned that I needed two crowns due to a broken molar that I couldn't feel (or a bridge, my choice) and I have a molar on the opposite side that will also need attention soon (something I knew before going in), and walked out with a pleasant experience and a follow-up to have the permanent crowns put on. Fast forward to this previous week; I finally went back to address that molar that I knew would need work. At this point, my insurance has now dropped Fresh Dental completely, so it's either pay 100% out of pocket or go to that other place that has quite the negative reputation. I started to panic because I don't want to go there, but I'm not sure what choice I have because I can't afford to pay for all this work out of pocket. Dr. Dunning worked with me for a price I could afford because he cares about his patients and he knows what struggles I face when it comes to dentists. So don't read the negative reviews here and make the assumption that Fresh is just some hack office that's trying to upsell you and take your money. Fresh Dental is a great place.
