She explained everything to me in great detail and showed me pictures of my teeth and gums and did a gum test to see if I had any gum issues. She also taught me the correct way to brush and floss.. I am over 40 and learned so much! I also signed up for Invisalign to straighten my teeth which have been bothering me more and more. My teeth started to shift (I had braces when I was 16 and need my straight teeth back!). They don't have massage chairs or TVs at each chair but the info I learned about my teeth and gums was far more valuable to me. I've never had such a thorough and detailed cleaning.

The clinical team was very professional and really put me at ease. Heather the dental hygienist was especially helpful. She seemed very knowledgeable about oral hygiene, gave me some tips on maintaining gum health, and did a great job cleaning my teeth. My sole issue with them arises with their business manager, a woman who goes by the name Cassie. To make a long story short I initially took out a loan to cover the cost of any work that would be done in the future. Naturally this money gets forwarded to them in advance which I suppose is the norm these days. When you take out a loan of this type they tell you up front that you have 5 days from the time you take out the loan to cancel it . I called back within 48 hours and informed this Cassie lady that I would no longer be using their services and requested a refund. I paid my balance for the services rendered in full, at which point she told me the money would be returned within 48 hours. It has been nearly a week now and that has not occurred. I am considering escalating the issue to the North Carolina Department of Justice for further action. Just as an aside I should note that the Better Business Bureau gives this particular office in F rating, with 16 complaints in the last several years.

The staff here completely understood and took this into consideration when building out my plan. The result is a beautiful smile, with teeth that look good but natural (kudos to Burrow Orthodontics for getting my teeth positioned ahead of the work I had done here). Everyone is really friendly and glad to answer a million questions (because that's about how many I asked). The environment is comfy, even as someone who hates the dentist office this experience was pretty pleasant for me. I frantically looked online...."what is the name of that cute dentist office? Ah! I found it! The one that looks like a beach house!" So, when it comes to my teeth being healthy and looking good I trust Dr. Wurmlinger 100%. I inherited my Daddy's bad genes when it comes to my teeth. I do what I'm told, "brush twice or 3 times a day and floss, etc.," but it seems like I'm always having an issue. Dr. Wurmlinger is never surprised when it comes to my teeth, God bless his heart. At least, he doesn't show me if he's panicking. He's always been so kind and encouraging and supportive, especially when I'm freaking out. I've even had to call him over the weekend for a tooth emergency. Thank God I wasn't in pain, but I'd lost my front temporary tooth so I couldn't leave my house until it was fixed. It was on a Friday in the late afternoon and he was on his way to Virginia. He asked me if I could meet him at the office Saturday morning. When I got there Saturday morning, one of his very talented assistants was there, as well as him. He had come all the back home from his trip just to help me glue my temporary tooth back on to get me through the weekend. I don't know anyone else who's going to do that for a patient. He didn't have to take time to think about it. He heard my message and knew he was coming home to help me. To get that kind of priceless service and the level of perfectionism that he provides is such a rare commodity, especially these days. I appreciate him more than he'll ever know, and I'll never see another dentist. I hope he doesn't plan on retiring during my lifetime. Without question, he is THE BEST.
