They took the time to walk me through how the procedure would go during my consultation, answered all of my questions, and made me feel much more comfortable. My recovery so far has been going well, and I really appreciate that they have continued to answer my questions even after the procedure. It made me feel like I was still supported throughout my recovery. The only issue I had was that my driver was not given some of the aftercare items, such as the gauze so we had to figure that out afterward. I felt no pain during the extractions and they also installed implants for the 1st stage after the extractions. Also, they made a bridge flipper for the front and side teeth so I have my smile back. I had pain for a few hours after the novacain wore off. The pain pills managed it and by evening I felt 90% good. No swelling either. Before even being seen, I paid up front and explained my financial situation. During the appointment, a staff member came into the room and told me I'd have to pay more or they wouldn't be able to proceed with treatment. I was already overwhelmed and in tears, and I reminded them I had already paid. She apologized and left the room. Later, I received a $300 bill for an incomplete root canal. Because of the way they coded and billed it, my insurance didn't cover anything -- it didn't even apply toward my deductible. Then I was told I'd have to wait to finish the procedure until my deductible reset the following year and I could afford the rest. Eventually, the bill doubled and was sent to collections. On top of that, they never explained that the crown (which is essential to complete a root canal) would be a separate and significant additional cost. I'm now left with an incomplete root canal and a $700 bill, and no clear communication throughout the process. UPDATE: I've uploaded a photo to clarify that the work was never completed, despite their claims. Transparency and clear communication are essential in healthcare -- unfortunately, I didn't experience that here. They also have a tendency to lie on public forums, obviously.
