I do not recommend this dental office, especially if you are experiencing financial hardship. I went in for a toothache and was told I needed a root canal. Before even being seen, I paid up front and explained my financial situation. During the appointment, a staff member came into the room and told me I'd have to pay more or they wouldn't be able to proceed with treatment. I was already overwhelmed and in tears, and I reminded them I had already paid. She apologized and left the room. Later, I received a $300 bill for an incomplete root canal. Because of the way they coded and billed it, my insurance didn't cover anything -- it didn't even apply toward my deductible. Then I was told I'd have to wait to finish the procedure until my deductible reset the following year and I could afford the rest. Eventually, the bill doubled and was sent to collections. On top of that, they never explained that the crown (which is essential to complete a root canal) would be a separate and significant additional cost. I'm now left with an incomplete root canal and a $700 bill, and no clear communication throughout the process. UPDATE: I've uploaded a photo to clarify that the work was never completed, despite their claims. Transparency and clear communication are essential in healthcare -- unfortunately, I didn't experience that here. They also have a tendency to lie on public forums, obviously. I am outraged by the way my husband was treated by this dental office! He called this afternoon to reschedule his appointment for tomorrow because our son is sick and can't go to daycare. He was told that they would be charging him a cancelation fee and asked if that "makes him change his mind". He told the woman "they needed to do what they had to do" and that was the end of it. She called back shortly after to tell him "we can not see you again at this office." He is seeing this dentist via the VA Community Care program and this is complete discrimination against veterans plain and simple. They should be removed immediately from the list of VA Community Care Providers and penalized for the complete unprofessionalism and targeted mistreatment of the veteran community. He will be filing a complaint against them through the VA as well as the BBB. This can not continue. Veterans deserve better. And we are going to make sure that happens. read more

This office is amazing. I called asking if they could squeeze me in due to severe pain, and the lovely woman on the phone was able to fit me in and was so kind and compassionate! The techs were all so sweet and made me feel so comfortable the entire time I was there. The doctor was so nice and accommodating to my schedule, and even stayed late to perform my extractions. We are a military family and we move around so much.... Therefore it makes it so hard to find a good dentist. We have three daughters and I've had such a bad experiences. But we've been going to Dr. Marostica for a little bit over three years now and love this location. The Dr and his crew are amazing! They take their time to explain everything to ensure that your needs are met. I want to make you aware of why I would never recommend Tigard Tendercare. My hope with letting you know this is so your business can take steps to correct these types of issues. I was scheduled for a cleaning on August 25th. Cary texted me at 3:42 the day before my appointment stating my dentist will not be in and we do not know if he is coming back. In the same text she asks is that ok. I said no. The only dentist I see there is Dr. Dimick because I am not comfortable and do not like Dr. Marostica. She then says if you are cancelling there is a $50.00 fee for less than a 24-hour notice policy. Ummm hold on, you did not inform me that my Dentist won't be there until 3:42pm and yet you are going to charge me? This is not the first time they have tried this bait and switch game of rescheduling me multiple times and then trying to bill me $50.00. When I arrived at my appointment the receptionist asked me how I was doing and I told her not very well. She said we need to fix that. I informed her that their office is the reason I am not happy. I also asked for all my records to be printed for my appointment when I show up and they were not. They told me it is better to email them so I agreed to have them emailed. All I received was my x-rays from last year and nothing else. I have sent an email requesting all my records and still nothing. While waiting for my appointment I waited 15+ minutes after my scheduled appointment. They also had 5 people in the waiting room, and it was not possible to be six feet apart as required by the Governor. Another issue I had with this place was when I had my front teeth fixed and they could not get the color right. It took them over a month to get it figured out. While waiting for them to get the color right they sent me a bill to pay when the service had not been completed. I called and talk to the front office manager and she said "well you need to start paying even though we have not finished the work". Are you serious? The dentist Dr. Dimick was going to send me to another dentist because the people they used for this job could not figure out the color for my teeth. The only reason I went to see Dr. Dimick is because he was an honest man who never tried to sell you services you did not need. I have reached out to all my family and friends that went to see Dr. Dimick only and told them what happened. NONE of us will ever be back there. If you want to go to a place that tries to change your appointment last minute and then bill you for it when it is not convenient for you this is the place for you. Was a great place for treatment with no insurance and they'd split up payments. Ive been a patient for over a year or so and paid in full on prior treatments. But recently received a dental plan quote i signed with Dr Marostica present and set up my appointment a month or more out. I was excited to finally get a problem taken care of but price was still a bit high I thought. Well, show up for appt on time, excited to get this done, and they come out with a different quote that was much higher. I was dumb founded as nobody contacted me a month prior to appt date!! I have the world's smallest mouth so I hate going to the dentist they never believe me and stick all these things in my mouth. Dr. Marostica listens and makes my visit quick and painless.
