We went to Dustyn for the training of our two Cane Corsos. Our boy, Grizzly, was having a hard time around other people and would regularly growl or jump away from them as they got close. Cane Corsos are naturally going to be protective of their people and we encourage it when it is appropriate, but this was fearful protecting and it was happening around friends and family and we were worried that he'd grow into an aggressive adult dog. Dustyn helped us get him to become the sweet, lovable giant he is now. While he still is protective of us, it is now more discreet and not solely out fear. Dustyn also helped us get Grizzly to a great spot with off leash commands to where we now feel comfortable letting him run with a little more freedom when in the appropriate setting. The thing I like most about working with Dustyn is that he is open to new ideas and he is not set on a specific way of training with no room for any deviation from the way he normally does things. He understands that not all dogs are the same and some may require a different approach to get them what they need. He employs a variety of tools and training equipment when working with the dogs and sees what they respond best to. We have come a long way with Grizzly and our other corso, Calypso with Dustyn, and we have much more to learn from him. I highly recommend him as a trainer for your dog. read more

My dog has been training with Dustyn since he was four months old, and I've seen him progress and grow in leaps and bounds because of Dustyns knowledge, training capabilities and a love for dogs and what he does. My dog is a Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd mix, which is a very intense breed that needs a lot of attention. I didn't know what I was getting myself into, so Dustyn really was a lifesaver. I was so blessed to have met Dustyn who has helped immensely. Dustyn socialized him around other animals and people, taught him many helpful commands, worked on his reactivity, and made it possible for me to take my dog ANYWHERE(and off leash), so we can enjoy a quality life together. Dustyn has done a great job in cultivating my dogs aggression and drive into a well worked and protective companion. Dustyn took time in communicating and teaching me how to train and work with my dog outside of sessions. I can't praise or thank him enough for everything he has done for us. Adopted a 5 1/2 year old mastiff/pitt from Humane Society with signs of past abuse and neglect, manifesting in behavior and aggression issues. Dustin has done wonders with my dogs! He is extremely professional, patient and provides impressive improvements and results. Dustin took one of my dogs, who was extremely shy, scared and unconfident after I adopted her and provided her with the training and encouragement she needed to become a confident, proficient guard dog as well as an extremely well behaved dog when out and about. When I met Dustin my Pup was a wild 6 month old German Shepherd Belgian Malinois who really had a mind of her own. After only one session with Dustin I could see a huge difference and as we continued to work with him my dog was able to be her best self. Dusty beautifully trained our 2 year old pit bull/cane corso. We were at the end of our rope and we're on the verge of rehoming him.
