Our family loves Dutch Bros! And when I say loves Dutch Bros, I mean we really really really LOVE Dutch Bros! My grownups go every day at least once a day and sometimes I think they've gone even three or four or a million times in one day. I don't get to have it every day, just sometimes for special occasions or road trips or when i'm being really good, or really cute. We love the whole staff at the Cottage Grove Dutch Bros, and we like to talk to them alot. They always make our drinks the best out of every Dutch that we have visited. Shaniah is the best manager and we like Sarah, and Izzy, and Adi, and Dakota, and really all of the girls and they're all really pretty. Andre and Quinn and Sam are cool too. The boys are my favorite tho because Connor, and Levi, and some of the others had a car show and let me sit in their cars and rev the engines. Connor has one of the coolest ones because it's a cool old van that he can sleep in. Sometimes i'm kind of a "coffee snob" because I really like coffee and the different flavors. Some of my favorite drinks from Dutch Bros are the Golden Eagle Chai, the Bob Marley, and The S'mores Mocha. But sometimes when I'm not in the mood for coffee I get Italian sodas, I like the Peach Ring, and the Gummy Bear, and I love pomegranate smoothies! I always order my drinks with whipped cream and birthday cake sprinkles. I don't think I've ever had one drink I have not liked from Dutch Bros as long as it's sweet. I can't drink regular milk, so I usually order my coffee's with almond milk but sometimes I have gotten soy and I might try oat milk soon. I like that they have so many choices of different milk alternatives to choose from. I like that they always put positive things on their hot cup lids. Sometimes I get to get hot drinks if i'm drinking it at home but if i'm in the car I'm not allowed so I get them iced. The new 2020 Holiday drinks are really good too! So far I've tried the peppermint mocha cold brew, the Sugar Cookie, and the Eggnog Coldbrew and i've liked all of them. BUT the Peppermint Mocha is my favorite because it makes me feel like it's Christmas time. From out of town where Dutch Bros does not exist, so while visiting for Christmas i just had to try some! Went on Christmas morning and asked for a chai latte that tasted like Christmas, and the girls recommended salted caramel, and I was sold! The staff were all nice, happy, and super helpful! They even give you your first coffee for free if you mention it's your first time! We will definitely visit again before we leave because the coffee is amazing! read more

I'm a huge Dutch Bros fan! Even if I'm not in the mood for coffee, if I pass one I will usually stop by (there aren't any locations close to me). The coffee is always delicious, it's affordable, and the customer service is almost always exceptional. I was driving back up to Seattle when I stopped here. There was a bit of a long line, as expected, but they had someone out with a tablet taking orders. The only reason I didn't give the full five stars was because the girl taking orders wasn't very nice. She wasn't rude or anything but it came across that she wasn't having a good day and didn't want to be at work. When I ordered she had no idea what I wanted - maybe that part was my fault, a Dutch Canyon isn't popular? Idk. There isn't a visible menu at most Dutch Bros until you're the next car so one of the other locations gave me a little brochure with the different drinks so I usually order from that. I've never had an issue with someone not knowing what I was trying to order where I had to take out my menu and show them. Wasn't a huge deal though. The guy at the window who rang me up and gave me my drink was super nice and it seemed like everyone inside was having fun. The drink was good, as always. Starbucks- OH HELL NO! Not when there is a Dutch Brothers nearby! They beat Starbucks hands down, so I would HIGHLY suggest bypassing Starbucks if there is a Dutch Bros, Cafe Elite or Big Foot in town as all of the are better options! The other great thing about Dutch Brothers, is they really know how to keep the lines moving! Unlike the other Coffee stands, Dutch has someone going through the line, taking pre-orders so by the time you get to the window you're drink is done! And they even have it so you can pay the person taking the order- so all you have to do is get your drink at the window! I'm from Southern California, but was making my way back home from Washington after surprising some family for a visit. I happened to stumble upon this hidden gem amongst many fast food chains during a stop for gas. To be honest, coffee was much needed with the long drive. I'm pretty big on customer service and right away these ladies were super cheerful and eager to give recommendations once I told them it was our first time trying their coffee. The girl had her iPad and placed our order on it. Super easy and quick! We waited until it was our turn in the line of cars to the window. Once our car got to the window, we were greeted by another very friendly girl that said she'd be right with us to take our payment and give us our drinks. She was manning the drive thru and walk up window. I really wish I got her name, but she asked where we were coming from and we told her. It went from me trying to hand her my debit card to her saying something along the lines of, "this is exciting, you're first time customers so your drinks are on us!" Best coffee chain I've ever tried. I'm from SoCal and was traveling up to Oregon to visit family and decided to stop by a Dutch Bros but felt nervous to order something since I'd never been to one before. The employees were super sweet and helpful! They helped me find the perfect drink and were really patient. I got a 911 and loved it! It wasn't bitter like a lot of espresso drinks can be. We should have gone to McDonald's for coffee instead. Nice enough people, but not great at what they do. First they gave us iced drinks when we didn't ask for it. Then when they gave us the order hot, they called it something else creating more confusion, so we thought we got the wrong drink again. On a related note, they don't actually have whole milk so don't ask unless you want some "half and half" concoction that doesn't work well. I still don't know if I actually ended up with what I originally ordered. A great reminder as to why I don't usually go to Dutch Brothers. read more

I had never been to Dutch Bros but was surprised to see a woman outside expediting the drive thru. She was patient while taking my order as I viewed the menu online and figured what my son and I wanted (couldn't see a clear menu in the drive thru.) They hooked us up because it was our first time, and our drinks were free! The woman at the window, and the one taking my order were both happy to be able to brighten our day with the gift of a couple free beverages. :) My iced coffee was pretty tasty, and my son loved the strawberry milkshake. Just a bit of background: I am a self proclaimed coffee snob and tend to diss a lot of peoples' favorite places due to my own taste. I am the kind who asks what brand of coffee a fancy pants restaurant uses (no Peerless for this gal), hate Illy and only like the Sbucks for their iced tea and clean bathrooms on road trips. I have made many a compromise just to have that liquid brown jolt (a McCafe' has done the trick from time to time) and sometimes don't mind diner coffee when I know that is what I am to expect. I also tend to bring my own coffee when I travel with my one cup brewing system (something I have been doing for years) and still don't like what comes out of the Nespresso or Keurig machines everyone raves about. Ok, enough of that. Yep, snob huh? The husband and I were driving up to the Portland area and after a great lunch that was not Fast Food in Cottage Grove, I was in need of an afternoon coffee. This DB is located between a Jack in the Box and a Carl's- yep- sadly, I know too much about FF since marrying into a FF eating/loving family. I will say that this little hut with a drive-thru has an odd entrance/egress, however, the customer service was STELLAR. I had been a Dutch Bros virgin and have friends who have raved about the "killer" coffee/concoctions available here by people I know in Arizona, Oregon and even SJ. I read over the coffee concoction menu and truthfully realized that there was more of a gimmicky feel to many of the drinks with more calories than probably a milkshake from either of the FF joints this place is lodged between. I asked if I could just get a nonfat latte with extra foam. I asked if the coffee/espresso was strong and the sweet and honest Barista told me it was more of a medium flavor so I went with the 4 shots. The 3 people working in the hut were all surprised I didn't want something else in my drink-and the fact I wanted a hot beverage though it was about 80 degrees outside. I finally caved and let them put in the Splenda (an addiction I need to taper)for me. It seemed to appease them and the no tax thing allowed me to tip generously just due to how great they all were. My opinion on my latte- it was decent, not great. The foam was done well and the service again was STELLAR but half way through my latte, the wow factor never came through for me. I guess I don't get the hype. If this review pisses anyone off, my apologies- I am not dissing anyone who finds this brand their favorite, and I am glad I am no longer a DB virgin. I will still be my own coffee carrying traveling gal but it is good to know when I am next in a DB area, I can get a fix if need be. read more

Stopped here on the way down to Bandon, OR. I had to write a review for two reasons: service & the coffee. First, the barista was super jolly. He greeted us with a friendly 'hello!' & smiled the second I pulled up to the window. Second, he knows how to multi-task! Ladies, there IS a man out there that knows how to multi-task & I just met him. He was making one drink, taking my order, helping out another barista, then making my order, all while chatting with me while I waited. This was all under three minutes. The coffee was piping hot. This is not a complaint. Whenever I request "extra hot" at Starbucks I never get extra hot. I'm a slow coffee drinker. I want my coffee to be hot still by the time it's half gone. This was hot to the very end & I didn't even request it extra hot. It's true what I've heard about Dutch Brothers. Their coffee & their service is better. read more

I was going crazy looking for a Starbucks along the I-5. We were on our way home from Vancouver B.C to San Francisco, Ca (see the urgency for coffee). Stopped to pee at this exit and ran into this little drive up coffee shop. Fast and friendly. I ordered the caramelizer with an extra espresso shot and the wife had a chai tea latte (iced). We were very satisfied with our items. I love Starbucks but I have to admit this place didn't leave me feeling bloated like the usual frapps do. Thanks for the energy booster during my time of need!
