Reasonably priced coffee. The staff is friendly, but they tend to mess up our orders by forgetting certain things or giving us the wrong items. Service can be a little faster. I do like the variety of breakfast options. Seeing that there are bagels on the menu makes me happy. My everything bagel with cream cheese is excellent. I had their vanilla latte for my last visit, but I don't recommend it; it tasted like something you get at a gas station. However, their dirty chai and cold brew are pretty good. read more

Absolutely love the landscaping here it's so beautiful! The outdoor seating I love how they have managed so well to make it not feel like it's in a parking lot or a street behind you. I have sat here and had breakfast and coffee before and really enjoyed it. Of course you can order drinks that aren't on the menu. Staff is always kind. The breakfast sandwiches are soo good! I am hoping this reaches the right person... I have been a Bean Member for about roughly 5 years or so. I have gone to all the beans in my area, and outskirts of town. West 11th is definitely not somewhere I would go unless I wanted to get sick or treated like mud. This location has not only remembered my drink (after 3 times of ordering it maybe 4) I am beyond pleased with all of the staff, you know how they say you can hear a smile thru the phone? Wow!! That's all I can say about how nice this one looks. Not only does this brand new location look nice they keep up with the Human bean coffee quality that I am used too. One thing this location serves compared to the one we go to in Las Vegas is that they serve hot fresh sandwiches, ohh my is it a good breakfast sandwich. We had to get at least two to try it and by far the croissant one is best, but the bacon muffin is also very delicious. They aren't using no nasty pre done egg like dunkin and the cheese they use is tillamook, ohh boy. My wife and I couldn't help but come here everyday just to get their coffee and food even though there are other coffee spots a little closer to where we we staying. read more

I now remember why I have stayed away, unless it is for a flavored energy drink. The service has never been bad, and they have a pretty simple menu. I do not drink coffee often, but when I do, I tend to get an iced Carmel mocha. I am not sure what it is called here. I remember now stopping at another location and not liking it, which I had to throw it away. So the other times I ended up stopping I would get a breakfast sandwich, and a flavor red bull on the go. The breakfast sandwiches are decent, but nothing to write home to Ma about. So the other day I needed a pick me up, and didn't want a red bull, and decided on the iced Carmel mocha after a pedicure, and was sadly reminded why I didn't like them from here. I had to throw this one out as well, I attempted to give it to my guy, he tried it, and he didn't like it either. You know it's bad when he won't drink it. He is the one that drinks coffee in our house daily, and will usually take the ones I don't like. The Carmel flavor tasted like butterscotch. Not that I don't like butterscotch, it just wasn't a great flavor in the coffee. The one thing I can say I do like that they do is, they give you a chocolate covered coffee bean on your cup of coffee. I wanted to like their coffee, and was hoping my memory was wrong, and that it was just from another location. Because I have gone to the Coburg rd, the one on W. 11th, and one out of town while traveling. My last experience was from the W. 11th location. If I go back it would only be for the flavored Red Bulls, and maybe a breakfast sandwich. The 2 star is only for the coffee itself, and nothing else. read more

So the Human Bean should be my favorite coffee place. However, this location has constant issues remembering my milk alternative, when it's even in stock. This is a problem for someone who has fairly severe milk reactions! I don't always have time to correct this, which is a shame because their drinks are super tasty. Fourth time in a row getting milk/cream when I asked for oat or hemp milk and even though they are the best around, I'll be just making my coffee at home where it's safer. All the incredible staff can't make up for this issue. Such a shame! read more

Today's experience was not pleasant to say the least. My wife and I stopped to get some coffee, our order was taken correctly which is usually a 50/50 chance at this location. When we were handed our drinks, one of the lids fell off and the HOT coffee spilled all over my wife's leg burning her. I told the person at the window and she asked if we needed napkins and asked for the drink back to fix lid which actually had 2 lids on the cup. When she handed it back to me, yet again the lid fell off and this time it spilled all over myself and car. Third times a charm, they were finally able to get a lid to fit the cup correctly but didn't apologize for anything and just disappeared from the window. The people working here need to slow down and pay attention, yes it's good that you can make the drink pretty quickly but is it made correctly?, and please make sure your lids are on all the way so people don't get burned! read more
