We placed the order on the app and showed up, but to the wrong location! (There were so many in a small area and we were unfamiliar with the area.) But thank goodness for the accidental mess up because the man who helped us quickly resolved our issue and very quickly made us, quite frankly, some of the best tasting Dutch bros we've had. Evidence: I never enjoy my boyfriend's order, but I always take a sip, I think it's kind of boring. He gets a Dragonslayer extra rebel and I cant get into it. I'm a soda person, so I always order their custom soda mixes for my drink. I've tried the dirty versions, but wasn't that big a fan. I love the passion fruit, and I try it with different combos like watermelon or strawberry. You can signup for the rewards program, and order ahead of time on the app. They offer a free birthday drink for rewards members, and different theme giveaways, discounts, and promotions. They have the double drive thru line, and it can get hectic at peak times. There is also the small side order window and a few patio tables if you don't want to do drive thru. Staff is always friendly, fun, and efficient! They do in-person ordering for the drive thru, and they are happy to offer suggestions on drink choices and modifications. I'm being generous with this three star review. I'll never be back. When I think "Dutch Brothers" I think "long line." To their credit, they have two lanes for drive-through but it doesn't negate the fact you'll be in line much longer than other businesses. ( In-n-Out, excepted, and a fellow business known for long lines before their food. ) I ordered a tropical Myst with the belief it would be a refreshing drink. Unfortunately it's just a load of cheap sugar water. I say "cheap" because I get very ill if a drink contains high-fructose corn syrup. I realize some people don't notice or don't care and that's fine, that's their issue, and probably a cornerstone behind epidemic obesity in the country today, but I personally cannot ingest that stuff. Three sips and I'm sick. I ended up throwing my drink out. I drove down to Carmel Mtn Ranch for an iced tea drink from Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf instead. I guess what I'm saying is if you're one of millions of base-level people with no discerning taste and are easily amused by HFCS pablum then this is the place for you. This location is pretty busy, the drive thru line wrapped around the building but it looked like it was moving pretty quickly. I decided to order through the window and it came at the time of the estimated pick up on the app, which was great. The only complaint I had was the amount of ice in my drink. There's no way through the app to customize for "less ice" but 90% of my drink was ice. I was a little upset, as paying $7 for a drink and having the majority of it be ice was a little annoying. I ordered a Strawberry Matcha online and the pick up line was separate from ordering then. The drinks came within 5 minutes, and Mel offered to add strawberries for me and it was so GOOD. For medical reasons, I currently can't consume any caffeine so when a friend invited me to her favorite coffee shop (twice!), I ordered one of their few non-coffee drinks and both times it was AWFUL. - Mango smoothie: I don't think this actually contains any real fruit. Just sugar and water. - Salted caramel hot cocoa: I am not sure if this contained any cocoa. Just tasted like sugar and water, maybe some milk? I am never the one to say that something is too sweet or too salty. But both the above items were way too sweet. Looks like I will need to wait until my medical issue resolves and can order caffeinated coffee drinks, since that seems to be the only thing here that gets positive/rave reviews. Finally had the chance to try this place! We live around this coffee joint so we decided to do a drive-thru coffee order right before work. My husband & I have the same taste so we agreed on the Golden Eagle & the Caramelizer. The coffee portion is LARGE, we basically had a 24 oz! My husband said his drink -- the Golden Eagle blended was good, but too sweet. We pretty much were drinking sugar. It reminded me of the Caramel Macchiato from Starbucks. I had the Caramelizer blended, and I had to say that I liked that drink more. I think I prefer them iced after it had melted a bit. The service is always wonderful! The workers are always really nice and look really enthusiastic working there. We went back a second time to get refreshers, and they were good. It's pretty much like slushie flavors, but my tip would be to get the sweet foam on top! It does add some cool flavor to any drink. I can't describe the ambiance inside, as we never went inside. Love, love, love this place. The staff have grown to know me and my fiancé over the past year and are always kind. They always ask how you are that morning or how your day is going. Never had my order be wrong and they always ask if I would prefer a straw before handing me one which is super considerate. Ambiance is fast paced and sometimes can be slower going when it is peak hours, but they work their butts off to give us our coffee in a great amount of time. My go to drink is currently the iced Matcha with Raspberry in coconut milk -such an amazing flavor combination.
