Lemme start off by saying this is one of my favorite Dutch stands, at least how the drinks are made. However, this specific stand has some rude staff. My last interaction was with this one blonde hair, short white girl, who was rude off the bat. She got our drink wrong and charged us for a topping we didn't ask for. I understand it can be annoying to request the drink to be fixed, but we did repeat our order before she even started our drinks. First, my disclaimer: I don't drink coffee. That being said, I do drink smoothies, which is something that DB sells. Their smoothies are, in a word, disgusting. They make them with some sort of pre-made flavored liquid, rather that real fruits - and yes, I have had one in summer, when fruit was in season. I know I'm very much in the minority about DB, because everyone I know loves them. And their coffee must be wonderful, because people line up for it, and when a new store opens people wait in line for hours for a free cup (which is ridiculous when you factor in the cost of gas and time, but I digress). This is an excellent drive up coffee stand right in downtown Eugene which due to it being more of portable stand then a fixed location is more quirkier then your standard dutch brothers. As this is a drive thru location parking really isn't a thing. If you must there are a few spots in the surface lot this is locate in, and abundant downtown parking nearby. No issue in the morning, kind of an issue when the market is in session or other super busy times. Unless you are up early on a weekend there may be a line. It typically moves fast as the baristas in charge of this spot have some mad skills. While they do have a range of pastries and some other coffee snack food things, here it's all about the coffee and tea. Nothing really wrong with a plain cuppa joe, but if you are out and about at this place you should totally upgrade to any of the specialty drinks. The latte's in particular are superb. Pricing for the area is mid range but overall is much cheaper then the bay area. Typically you are looking at around three bucks for a specialty drink more for a heavily customized order with a snack, less for the plain jane cup. Did I mention the awesome hard working staff? Even if I did it bears repeating. They are some hardworking happy people. Totally worth it. read more

This was my first Dutch Bros experience. This location was easy to get into and the service was quick. When the line is longer, they have someone going car to car taking orders to have ready for you at the window. The employees were SO NICE and pleasant. I cannot emphasize that enough. Their cheerful attitude rubbed off and definitely started my day right. The coffee fell a little short for me though. I ordered the Golden Eagle. It was very middle of the road and I felt like the milk overpowered the coffee taste. It would do in a pinch but wasn't good enough to bring me back again. That has to do more with the coffee itself, not this location specifically. Perhaps I'll give them a try again and try something else. read more

Husband and I went up to Eugene for the weekend and saw Dutch Brothers all over the city. So we had to try it!! Pulled up to this location and was met with Abby, a nice young girl wearing an Oregon hat. We told her that we were up visiting from the Los Angeles area and didn't know what to order. She enthusiastically asked us what kind of drinks we like, then gave several suggestions. We chose our drinks and she gave them to us at no cost!!!! So kind! I don't know what drugs the people here are on, but I want some! They're always ridiculously friendly and seem genuinely happy to be there; I have yet to meet a grumpy Dutch Bros employee. They're also efficient, which is a plus. I don't think I've ever actually had their coffee...which may be a good thing, since their coffee reviews aren't positive. Ever since I ordered their double chocolate mocha with soy milk, I've been addicted. Really, the week of midterms I bought one every morning so that my day wouldn't suck as much. Secret hiring sauce strikes again - DB Whatever you are doing for your hiring keep doing it! Your people are awesome!! Been to this location NUMEROUS times. On only ONE occasion did I have less than a wonderful experience. On this ONE occasion there was brand new guy working the window. The trainer for him is a fantastic employee who I know from other visits and she was helping him but he was just disjointed and on the side that was helping the drive and walk up windows. It was just too much for him for day one. She kept encouraging him but it took me 25 minutes to go two cars and get my order, which is a bit extreme. AGAIN it was only that time which is why they get 5 stars because even then the service was friendly and upbeat as always. This is my go to location on my way to work. They even have my favorite flavor for Rebel and Iced Green Tea premade here in its own container... HAWAIIAN... haven't had it? You should try it. I could tell you what was in it but then I would have to... well you know... because it is on the DB Secret Menu. Just trust me it is fantastic. They make a killer Caramel Egg Nog Latte, Peppermint Mocha and all of my Iced Teas and Rebels. Pricing is normal as it is uniform but man the specials that are run are fantastic. Don't have a hydroflask yet? UMMMMMMM Get ONE!! Keeps drinks warm literally for 7-8 hours at least and that is a hot warm. Keeps the iced ones iced all day and then some. My ice is still ice inside the next day. Basically I am a huge DB Fan!! I love my some Starbucks too but come on DB is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Literally so disappointed I've came here everyday since I moved to Oregon, was handed the wrong drink which obviously it's hot I can't sip it right away, I know to most it seems like a simple fixable mistake but no not everyone can just turn around or go to a different coffee shop either because school or work, so when I paid 6$ for what supposed to be a caramel eggnog latte i sip a nasty watered down maybe americano I have no idea what the heck was given to me but as a company that makes a decent amount of money should ensure your DAILY paying customer get what they PAID for. I am pretty convinced that I love Dutch Bros more than I love Starbucks. I am a huge fan of their energy drink (Rebel) that you can infused with different flavors like passion fruit, blackberry, coconut, the list goes on. You can also infuse your iced tea with these flavors as well. And not just one flavor you can do a combination of as many as you want... although I usually stick with one or two. They also serve coffee and espresso in huge cup sizes! This location specifically was great. I stopped here on my way to the office a few times and they were blasting music and in such great moods. I was inspired. I wish I could be more like that. I also was caught off guard when they actually ask about my day and what I have planned and how my weekend looks. Rochelle H.'s review is spot on. This success of this franchise is impressive. And after experiencing many DB visits, I understand why they are so successful. It is clear that people want convenient coffee, and are willing to sacrifice quality. Or maybe the majority of coffee drinkers are just not that discerning. I wish DB would use organic coffee. Or at least have organic choices for higher prices. However it is apparent they are following the pre-packaged, high profit chain food retail program here. Let's get something straight - although they sell coffee, Dutch Bros isn't the place you go to if you're a coffee snob. Dutch Bros is the place you go to if you want to talk to someone friendly (some would say overly friendly; I'd say there's no such thing). It's the place you go to if you just want a couple quick shots of espresso and you only want to spend a dollar. (No kidding! It would cost you $2+ at Starbucks.) Dutch Bros is the place you go if you have a sweet tooth - their flavored espresso drinks are a thing of beauty, even if they don't taste much like coffee. Try the Double Torture - it's a vanilla mocha with extra shots of espresso that tastes *just* like a Guinness stout. I didn't think it could get any better than that - until I put a shot of amaretto into my Double Torture. Holy wow. This particular Dutch Bros is close to the bars in the "Barmuda Triangle" at Pearl and Broadway, and is open 24 hours. For both of these reasons, this is my FAVORITE DUTCH BROS EVER. read more

Erg! The only thing this particular DB has going for it is the hours. I've had coffee spilled on my hand (2nd degree burn = scar) and the worst, most watered down, (pathetic attempt to pass as a) cinnamon white chocolate mocha. So grumpy! So frustrating. This Dutch Bros. is good (but not the best... that's the one on Broadway) what makes this location special is that it is open 24hrs. Oh my oh my, that can be very helpful when you are stuck studying for the evening, or all night... When that is the case you need to be drinking a 911... they are major. I prefer my coffee mixed with all kinds of long Italian/Latin sounding words that could be used as a secret language should the need ever arise and as such I have tried several of the coffee drinks at Dutch Bros. It has mainly been late at night, after the closing of Starbucks (yeah, that is my dealer of choice), when I am dying for a fix. While the coffee is not mind-blowing, caffeine induced coma good, its also not terrible. I would prefer Starbucks any day over DB, but between DB and dying from caffeine withdrawals I will pick DB every time. Coffee, like fine wine, is a personal preference and gets better the more you spend (I'm looking at you, research studies to prove me right). If you like coffee than give Dutch Bros. a try, you may like it. And if you don't than why are you wasting your time reading this (and a taste is always free). read more

I think this is probably the first time I have ever gone to one of these drive thru that is not a Starbucks. I pulled up and there was one other car in front of me. The car in front was taking a while so as one of the gals went to take out the trash she also stop by our car to get my order. Then when I pulled up to the window, my drink was ready. How cool is that? I got a medium cappuccino that was suppose to in between dry and wet. Unfortunately my only concern is that it was more wet than dry. I'm very particular and don't want it to have too much milk but then I don't want it to just have foam. Other than that, the coffee was pretty good. It was smooth and did not have a burnt after taste to it. I also love their cup. I really like it as it's like an adult sippy cut. I know that's weird but I think it enhanced my DB experience. None of the three ladies I could see through the open window greeted me nor paid me any attention while they talked and prepared drinks for drive up customers. Once they had finished with the cars they all three proceeded to helping the next drive up guest. I figured that they might not have seen my at all so I said "Hello"; one of the ladies made eye contact but did not respond. Not having tried anything besides coffee there, I can say Dutch Bros. is just about the best place to get coffee! First of all (most important), their coffee is of excellent quality! Never a watered-down taste, and definitely plenty of caffeine to get you going. :) But, I will only go into detail about their customer service. Their customer service is outstanding. This is another "college student-ish" employer, but with more discretion. I'm not sure how they train and how they find the people that they do, but they are wondeful (and generally good-lookin too, which doesnt hurt). They always treat me like a close friend and have great attitudes - even when slammed with customers. They are energetic, happy, polite individuals that genuinely show care about the drinks they make you. These are one of the few business i enjoy going back to. I'll drive across town, sometimes not even wanting coffee at first, and go to Dutch Bros because I actually feel better leaving there than when i arrived!
