I have tried as many different drinks as I can, hot, cold, and frozen, and I've yet to have a drink that tastes anything remotely like espresso because everything tastes like syrup and chemicals (I quickly learned they don't even have coffee). I never understood the hype around Dutch Bros and how it compares to other chain coffee shops but I was seriously mistaken. A Dutch Bros opened around the corner from me and I finally caved and gave it a try. For my first-ever visit to Dutch Bros, I can say I'm officially a fan! From the moment I pulled up, the staff was incredibly friendly and full of energy. She even took her time to give her personal recommendation and chat with me, which made the experience even better. I tried the Golden Eagle (a delicious caramel vanilla coffee drink) and got it frozen with a whipped cream topping and caramel drizzle on top. It was absolute perfection! The right amount of smooth, sweet, and indulgence. The menu is quite extensive. They offer many unique options from cold brews to energy drinks so there's something for everyone. On top of the amazing drinks, the service was top notch. It was quick yet welcoming. You can tell they genuinely care about making customers' days better. I'll definitely be coming back for more especially since on my next visit, my drink is free because I downloaded the app! I have been wanting to try Dutch Bros for a while but they are pretty spread out all over Houston. There isn't one near me so since I was off I drove a little out of the way so that I could taste and see what the hype was about. I must say my coffee was delicious! I get the hype. I love the protein milk and sugar free options. It's great that you can fully customize your beverage. I saw that they had a few unique drinks on the menu including cereal flavor inspired toppings. I want to try a specialty drink next time. Service was fast and friendly. The young man who took my order was so kind and explained the menu to me. I noticed the pricing is cheaper than Starbucks and you get more oz so better bang for your buck if that's important to you. I didn't go inside, I went through the drive thru so I can't speak to the ambiance but I will say, I could hear the music playing through the window and they were jammin. While the chai was pretty standard (still good, don't get me wrong!), the Golden Eagle stole the show! It was like sipping on the leftover milk from a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch--sweet, cinnamony, and downright delicious. Service? Super friendly! The young lady outside was patient, kind, and made sure our order was right. Butttt... I did get a little concerned when I saw another worker walk outside, hand a coffee to the car behind us, then go back in and start making drinks. (Yikes or nah? Let me know what y'all think!) The line was long, but honestly, the walk-up line was EMPTY--so pro tip: if you're in a hurry, just park and walk up! ‍ The place looked clean, and I was excited to finally try it. They did it again. I was in line. I even told the guy taking orders I was waiting before the guy next to me showed up and he told me he has to alternate. Honestly there was nothing wrong with the customer service, everyone was super nice. The only priblem with this location is the quality of the drinks, I ordered a blended golden eagle with oat milk and usually it's really yummy, sweet and creamy but this time it tasted like old watery espresso with little to no flavoring. I'm not really a big coffee or juice drinker so i never crave dutch bros or any other speciality drink place. my sister however loves these types of places so when we saw the signs for dutch bros we immediately took the nearest exit to make our way to the store. we looked over the menu and then made our way into the drive through line. there was a male employee outside near the line taking/placing orders through a company ipad. when it was finally my turn to order i got the drink my sister wanted and nothing else. the male outside, placing orders from the drive through area provided the absolute best customer service i have ever received from a drive through /fast food chain. i mentioned to him that i only drink sodas or water and he mentioned that dutch bros carries a soda i might enjoy, (it has X,Y, Z flavors) in the drink and he suggests i try it. i decide to give the drink a chance and it was absolutely wonderful, it surpassed all of my expectations. the name of the employee helping me through my purchase was a male named Mattie, Matty, or Maddie (not sure of correct spelling) . this employee is absolutely stellar at his job and deserves recognition for the dedication and professionalism he provides with customers especially new ones. I would 1000% return to this location especially because of mattie and their high quality customer service read more
