I had the Pesto Provolone Muffin and it was tasty and fresh. I'm not into the super sweet drinks they serve but a latte with oat milk hits the spot. The interesting thing about Java House is that ALL drinks are made with either cold brew or cold brew concentrate. My latte is made with the concentrate, not espresso. Purists may argue it's not really a "latte" but it does taste like a latte. If I could stop at Java House more often, I would.

That was disappointing on its own, especially since this has been one of my favorite coffee shops and I've brought plenty of friends, neighbors, and even visiting family here to support the business. What truly drops this review to one star, however, was the shocking response I received from one of the employees. She cussed me out, yelled, flipped me off, threatened to call the cops on me, and screamed for me to never come back--all while I had my baby with me. I've never experienced such unprofessional treatment from a business. I can only hope the owner reviews the cameras from this incident and takes the matter seriously. Sadly, I will no longer be returning or recommending this café to others.

Then another employee told me again that I had wrongfully switched lanes and now they have to make my drink before everyone else's (each interaction had a rude tone). Multiple employees came outside to discuss my mistake while I was waiting for my drink and laughed/scoffed at me. I was very disappointed with the treatment I received after offering multiple times to go through the line again and apologizing. I understand this was my mistake, but I would've appreciated some grace. Not only this, my drink was dripping when it was handed to me and spilled all over my shirt. Very disappointed:(
