    Twisted, regular; chocolate, small
    Jessica M.

Super old school and straight forward. Our family of four were returning from our Indianapolis-Cincinnati road trip and made a pit stop here for a quick snack before continuing to Chicago. It was incredibly hot outside so we opted to enjoy our frozen custard in our car. We had the twisted chocolate and vanilla in regular and the chocolate in small. For those traveling with young children, it is good to note that there is a very nice park and playground minutes away. We didn't get a chance to check it out since it was getting late and we had another +1 hour drive home. But I bookmarked it for the next time we're in the area - Columbian Park SIA Playground.

My daughter as I stopped here to get a treat. I wanted a regular size butterfinger, but even though the flavor was written in their white board, they didn't have it, so I went with strawberry. My daughter got a large vanilla. Serving amount was nice, seems proportionate to what we expected. I do not recommend the strawberry if this is what they think strawberry tastes like. Made me think of bubblicious bubble gum, not strawberry. Not even candy flavored as strawberry. I didn't like it at all. My daughter thought the vanilla was fine and liked how creamy it was. Overall not someplace I would go to again unless I was starving during an event at the stadium across the street.

With lots of outdoor seating and parking, this is the place to go if you want some fast sweets with a lot of your friends. We went after dinner and there was no line in sight. Unfortunately they didn't have all the flavors listed at the time. Regular is large enough to share, so don't be afraid to ask a friend to try some with you. The flavors are very mild, sometimes hard to taste, so if you enjoy light flavors with large parties then this is the place for you!

Service was as if we were annoying him. Root beer float was expensive and had very little ice cream and root beer.

What is going on? Closes at 8pm! It is summer right? I am totally baffled as to why the frozen custard closes so early every night.

Known for being new to the ice cream scene in Lafayette, Indiana, it didn't disappoint. The service was impressively swift, ensuring that we could enjoy our treat without any unnecessary wait. For two, sharing three scoops was a delightful decision, as the portion sizes were generous, offering excellent value. We indulged in espresso and blueberry cheesecake, alongside peanut butter fudge each flavor offering a rich and satisfying experience. This establishment is highly recommended for anyone seeking a cozy spot to enjoy ice cream sourced directly from a local farm in southern Indiana. I'll definitely be returning to Every's Ice Cream for another taste of their creamy ice cream, that is around 16 percent butter fat , which is high for the industry and the smooth textures confirmed this! We also found it is not overly sweet so that you can taste the flavors intended. RATINGS & LOGISTICS: - Atmosphere: 8/10 - Food Quality: 9/10 - Service/Flow: 9/10 - Value: 9/10 - Would Return: Yes. The sodas are served with rabbit-turd ice (unquestionably the best kind of ice). And they are made with real syrups and stirred together, like they used to do back in the olden days when the world was black and white, and the people behind the counter creating your drink were called soda jerks. You can also order a soda with other flavors stirred in, like butterscotch, chocolate, cucumber, cherry, lavender and the like, plus phosphates, floats, malts, Italian cream sodas, dirty sodas, freezes, tea, lemonade, ice cream scoops, sundaes and shakes. If it's sweet and you can drink it or let it melt in your mouth, they can probably make it here for you behind the soda counter at McCord Candies. You'll also find candy and chocolates, of every variety and permutation imaginable. Many of the candies and chocolates are made in-house, like their candy canes, which you can see being made right in front of you around the holidays. If you like sweets, you will find something here. Take your goodies to go, or you can go upstairs and enjoy them where there are a few tables and a nice view of the candy store below. There are also some vintage clothing and knickknacks for sale that you can peruse.
