We searched for a boba shop nearby (and even not so nearby) and Mochi Wren Boba & Bakery in downtown New Albany came up at the top of the list offering an authentic variety of popular boba tea, coffee, and latte options and also a fusion yummy array of traditional Asian baked goods. Okay, let's go... Not far from Boomtown Kitchen and New Albany Candy Shoppe we walked to this boba cafe. It was a quiet Saturday evening and the we were the only ones in the shop the entire time we were there. We chose coconut milk tea and strawberry fruit tea for our drinks and on the bakery side we got the last two egg tarts left and a chocolate cake roll slice. I love egg tarts and theirs was just like the Hong Kong-style version of the ones we get in San Francisco Chinatown, lightly sweetened, flaky, buttery pastry and smooth. I…read morehappened to be nearby for work purposes and ordered through the app. On this day they were doing the mini bumper stickers when you make a drink purchase. I ordered 2 drinks and got 2 out of the 5 mini bumper stickers. With every drink purchase you get a sticker (most of the time I have to ask) . This is pretty much anytime they do a sticker drop and they definitely do one once a month and sometimes do an extra sticker drop as well. Tip: I follow their FB page and I'm in some of their FB groups as well so I know a head of time. I got a Blue Lemonade and A sugar free Caramelizer (Iced). I actually liked the lemonade and have yet to try the other drinks. I always get a Sugar Free Caramelizer iced or hot each time I visit. I do visit the Dixie Hwy Louisville and Radcliff locations at times but, it was my first time at this one. I have always had great customer service at each one.
