I went to Dutch bro's after a really long night of working and having to still function with my children the next day, the guy that initially helped me was such a jerk. My daughter was screaming in the backseat because she was sick and I was getting my boys a Dutch bro's as a treat for helping. I asked the guy if there was a menu and he said I don't have any. I asked him how I was supposed to know what to get and he said we have coffee. I tried to go a couple times when they first opened in merced. Unfortunately, the lines were long which is a compliment to them. I've only tried their 911 and kicker Irish cold brews and they're not bad at all. They're bitter, of course, with a nice kick to them. They are different from Starbucks as expected and it that's fine :) stay unique. I definitely recommend , try it out. They also have energy drinks :) read more

First time and all I can say is had the Best experience ever! Coffee was freshly made and really good flavor I ordered; hot White Angel, was delicious I ordered with cocoa which was a little too sweet for my taste let it cool and add ice to delude and was a whole new level. I usually ask for unsweetened coffee for the most part but I'll b coming back n I'll order with 2% milk instead My daughter ordered; Some Ice Coffee, don't remember the flavor. Today Ycela helped me out in the drive-thru , she was SUPER kind and very generous, after talking to her for a while she said my drink was on her! It made my whole day. I love Dutch Bros. Drive through service is amazing here in Merced area. I don't recommend the 911 if you're not a hard-core coffee drinker. Everything else is amazing though. They give our fur baby a pup cup every time. Sometimes the wait can be 5-10 mins but it's worth it. read more

Location is kinda crappy even with employees taking orders outside. They don't offer a full menu with many drink options. They also only accept credit card at the moment... which is odd for an establishment and you don't know that until you have fully placed your order. Was super excited to find out Merced was getting a Dutch bro's . Maybe look at their menu first before coming if you've never been. My favorite is the vanilla freeze , basically a coffee slushy . The service is super friendly, alil "fake" friendly. Anyways lines do get long but well worth the wait . Drinks are pretty pricey for me on a daily but, my usual is Starbucks for coffee. While the rebels are good, all the iced lattes I've ordered taste like water. Barely any flavoring. Tastes like the espresso isn't being pulled properly. I've asked multiple times to make my drink EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA SWEET and even have them remake my drink often and it has NO FLAVOR. Not sure if they have some sort of rule over how much sweetener to use but I always go home and add syrups i have at home to my iced milk water I buy from Dutch. I work at a specialty coffee house so I am trained on proper espresso extraction and these shots taste like they are coming out way too fast from the machine which in turn is making it to where they have no flavor. Which sucks because I know if these drinks were made better they would be amazing. Be a little more generous with the flavoring on iced drinks and brush up on how the espresso is running pls! Tried Dutch Brothers today. While the service was friendly, the people taking the orders were not staying 6 feet away from the car. I ordered a Black Forest Freeze and was extremely disappointed. There seemed to be no cherry in it at all. The other person with me ordered a Cocomo, and there was no cocoanut flavoring in it. But here in merced they're just not friendly people they dont ask you how your day is going they take your order and let you go to window grab your drink or just wait but they dont talk to you they just dont care they wanna get you out As soon as possible they have gone down hill. They need to find better workers more outgoing that love their job! I went to this establishment because the Starbucks line was long and wasn't moving. Big mistake. It was my first time at a Dutch brothers, so I didn't know what to order. I wanted a drink and something to eat. So I asked the girl if they had a menu. She said no. How am I supposed to choose if I don't know what is available??? I have to say, she was lovely and tried to help. There were tons of cars behind me so I just picked something quick (you don't want to be THAT customer). When I got my drink, it was overly sweet. I do not believe that they thought out the location of this establishment very well, there is so much traffic it's insane. Today I was stopped before entering the business on child's ave and told by two young employees that I couldn't drive up unless I got in the line that was on the other direction, the young man suggested I back up on the busy street and go towards Burger King and make a u turn to get in line. Wth i do get that there's people in line there but if that's the only way in why not announce it so that people know and are prepared instead of stopping them in the middle of a busy road to tell them they can't get in. So...I'm not fancy about my coffee. I just want good coffee, no sugar and either half and half or heavy cream. Taste the beans. The drive through has two lanes and there were two very nice employees outside taking orders in the wind and coming rain (I know what's that?) and asking how you are etc. weird he seemed to input my license plate. Really have the old fashioned like we're neighbors down. Which is great, truly. The weird thing is every where we went in Merced this weekend absolutely every person we interacted with was kind. Like pre-Covid omg that person was so nice type of kind! It's like there's something in the water. Idk. Back to the spot. A large black drip coffee with some kind of dairy was $3.80. Ok inflation is serious because the people were great, the coffee was meh and the price was give me back my wallet. The drinks are great, the service not so much. The guy who took my order this morning didn't ask me if I wanted to leave a tip, instead he gave himself a tip and just didn't say anything. Really unacceptable, considering I'm a college student and I assume he is too, but I would've gladly given the tip if he asked. It's not really about the money, more so about the principle of things. Another issue I have happened the other morning. The guy who was outside taking orders took the orders for three different people who got there after me, and didn't get to me at all.
