My daughter and I stopped at Dutch Bros after touring Western Oregon University. It was our very FIRST Dutch Bros experience and it was FANTASTIC! We ordered the caramelizer and a strawberry smoothie. Both were delicious. In fact the caramelizer was better than my typical Starbucks choice of the same type. The chocolate chip muffin tops were super yummy as well. The Barista was incredibly friendly and even shared her happiness with WOU as she had recently graduated from there. I'm completely biased because well I don't think they make actual coffee just sugary blended drinks. I will SAY I like their $3 large teas even though it's just peach syrup with green tea but you know it takes good, let me live. The people are nice though, I just don't like their drinks. :) I'll also never forget my roommate and I went to Dutch and I ordered banana freeze or whatever it's called right? THEY gave me a pumpkin drink instead lol it's just made me laugh. But I wish they were better quality, then maybe I'd consider it. read more

The staff are usually super friendly and have good conversations, while waiting for your order or after ordering. The have a lot of new faces more often than not, probably due to being a college town. The main reason for the 2 stars are because the drinks are usually a miss, never have they been great. I didn't realize how varied the shops could be, since they all have the same menu but, ordering can be interesting if you're not loud, super clear & don't reiterate. I'll come here in a bind or for last minute before headed out or going home but, by choice not the 1st place I'd go Dutch wise too. read more

Let me tell you...during my run as a student at Western Oregon University, I went through this year-and-a-half period where I was taking classes full time AND balancing about five jobs. No joke. So just about every morning, on my way to my job in Silverton, I would stop at Dutch to get my caffeine fix. The dudes there...if they saw my car, they knew already to make my triple-medium-nonfat-sugarfree-white mocha. And it'd be ready when I got to the window. They rocked. Yesterday when I went there, it was one of the same baristos who knew me as a regular back in the day. Someone who gave me high-fives and extra stamps on my frequent drinker card. He didn't recognize me...it's been a while and my hair is now super short. But the coffee was the same...amazing! read more

It's what you always expect from Dutch- enthusiastic baristas, great service, sugary drinks, and good prices. My only complaint is that, being a person who doesn't enjoy sugary drinks, even when I ask for my drink to be much less sweet, it's still much too sweet for me! Additionally, two times in a row I have ordered a white mocha with white coffee. Both times, I was given a regular mocha with white coffee- not a great flavor combination. Every time I go here the staff is rude, overcharges me, or gets my order wrong. This is also the only dutch I've ever been to that's tried to charge me $1.50 for getting water in my own personal bottle. Wtf? One time I asked if a syrup was dairy-free and the barista went "Uhh.. I don't think so. We don't really have anything healthy here lol", like okay, that's not what I was asking, maybe you could check? Hello all you Dutch Luver"s. I have always loved coffee and for years drank Starbucks and then one day they put a Dutch Bros. up in my neighborhood. I went thru and got me my favorite called iced mocha with whip, I believe they had a different way of saying a mocha on ice, but either way all it took was one sip of theirs and I was sold. I never returned to Starbucks and have been a Dutch Luv'r since. I love that they have different drinks every month and the stickers for our cars or what have u. I have never put a sticker on my car either, but I do now. I just want to say if you have never tried and are hesitant, don't be, you won't be disappointed. So go for a ride and drink up. I grew up in an area without Dutch Brothers but with plenty of Black Rocks. I endured the terrible customer service of my local Black Rock for the caffeine but at the Monmouth Dutch Brothers I get delicious coffee, cute baristos, and a genuinely pleasant experience. I honestly never thought that a drive through chain coffee shop could be so friendly and personalized. An extra star for coconut milk! read more

It's the people that make this coffee stand so wonderful. They are fun and energetic and memorize my drink. There is a good feeling that comes with driving up somewhere and the people know just what you want. The coffee is good but I can't really review it so much as I typically either get an Americano with 4 shots to give it that strong coffee flavor or the Annihilator. They have been spoiling me for years. I have tried other Dutch Bros but these people will always be my favorite. If you need to be cheered up cause you are having a rough day this is the place to go plus you get coffee. So it is a win win situation. read more

Drove through a few days ago and one of the women working (who was wearing a thick headband) wasted 15 minutes of my time by gossiping with her friends, who she then had pull around to the other side and continue their conversation. As she continued her conversation I waited until she asked her coworker to make my drink. Used to be my favorite place to get a drink from. It's odd, because a small smoothie is $4 and I paid $8 for two small smoothies, However a large is like $7? Weird prices. I have to get dairy free smoothies, because if not it tastes like rotten milk in my drink time after time! Yesterday I took my sister to get our large tea's. And the price went up from a $3 tea to $3.25. Which is annoying but nothing to worry about, until we got our drinks... and they tasted like water! We went back immediately to get new drinks because it was that bad, having BOTH our drinks be watered down is not a coincidence. The lady told us that from now on, we should ask for our drinks to be extra sweet, which is funny because I've already been asking for extra scoops in my tea before the incident.. And their excuse was that they had a lot of customers to keep up with and they were making a lot of tea's.. I wonder how many of those customers got watered down drinks. When I brought our drinks back for new ones, the lady at the window said "How'd we fuck up your drink?" Excuse me?! How the heck do you get away with using that language in a work place in front of my underage sister? Extremely unnecessary and not okay to do. That really made me unhappy, and because of that language in front of my underage sister I will not be going back. The past few weeks I've noticed my drink becoming watery (I always get no ice in my cold brew tea for the past year and it has never once tasted like that) and then they charge you more. Not a Dutch Bros fan but they where grate when it came to putting a smile on my kids face on their birthdays

I am an avid coffee drinker and I love my white chocolate mochas. I have been debating for years whether to go to Dutch Bros or Brook's and Terry's and this last year when I started a local job, I was having my sugar free iced white chocolate caramel mocha daily and the price + the flavor is waaay better than Brook's and Terry's. They are like a dollar or more cheaper per drink and they actually have the drink mixed all the way together. I also like that the syrups are not just sugar free but the milk as well. I am surprised they haven't memorized my drink yet as I am there nearly every day BUT there are different people serving me almost everyday so I get that. I have never had bad customer service from them. I also have never had my drink made wrong except for once and I came back hours later because I wasn't able to turn around (had to get to work) and they remade it with no issues. I love that they also have a large reusable cup selection all the time. I tried to buy a cup at a Salem Dutch Bros and I stopped by 3 of them and they didn't have any available. I went to my local one and they had 4 options and they're usually always cheaper than the online price. The only downfall is the long lines but I love that they have people out there taking your order so once you do get to the window you just have to grab your drink and your stamp and go. Therefore, I could not down vote them for anything. The staff is friendly but not overbearing! The music is loud but not so loud you can barely hear. I have had bad experiences at other Dutch Bros locations where the people go overboard and are obnoxious and their music is ridiculous. GREAT customer service!!!!! Can't say it enough. Thanks to Monmouth Dutch Bros and their staff. OH and I love that they are pretty much open all the time. You can go really early in the morning or really late at night and get an espresso drink! read more
