So far I've been 3 times, each time the employees are very welcoming and the energy you get from them doesn't make it seem like they're stuck at work. I do recommend getting their App as I've tried to look at the menu on the board at drive through and BOY ARE YALL IN FOR A SURPRISE, because they have basically a thousand combinations available for their drinks! So far I've gotten: Blended Golden Eagle-my current fave, blended annihilator, Blue Rebel Unicorn blood, and Blue Rebel Vampire slayer. I feel like there's an unlimited amount of combos and I'm going to try my darn best to try most of it! I've heard from friends and people I follow how good this place is and I was in Austin and saw they have a Dutch. I loved Dunkin's banana split flavor and saw that they have that flavor, so I was hoping it'll taste somewhat similar. I substituted my milk for a non dairy one as well. The drink wasn't it, I couldn't taste the flavor and it was so icy after being blended. The coffee taste wasn't there either, so I felt like I was drinking watered down coffee. Excited to try Dutch Bros after hearing so much about it. Went over the weekend and got a Iced Kicker half sweet per the suggestion of the person taking the order and my partner got a strawberry blue entertainment blended. We both really enjoyed our drinks. It would have been nice to been told about the option to mix flavors for the blue energy and the rewards program but overall excited for a new place in town. Fast forward to today's visit. Drove up to the drive thru and they were 5 people standing there, two who had tablets to take orders and the others just appeared to be friends hanging out. Ordered the Iced Kicker half sweet again and a Dragon Slayer blended blue energy. After ordering waited behind a car while one of the workers and one of the extras appeared to socialize while we waited. Got to the window and was handed the coffee drink that was super pale and then a Vampire Slayer..... I tried to comment over the BLARING music coming from inside that my drink was very pale and the other didn't sound like what we ordered. The attendant shouted what probably three times as they couldn't hear over the music and then just responded to the coffee color saying that it was half sweet so that it had half flavor and that is the reason for it being pale. But half sweet shouldn't be half the coffee. Extremely disappointed in our second visit, poor customer service and paid for drinks that weren't good or what was even ordered. read more

We wanted to try the new coffee spot this morning. My daughter had the Golden eagle and I had the Annililator. So good!! And not too sweet. Both drinks were also under $11!!! That's crazy. Not sure why I keep coming here to this particular Dutch Bros because EVERYTIME I do I leave dissatisfied. Today I came here because it was on my way home and I had a birthday drink to redeem. After waiting in a long drive thru line I am 2nd in line and what do I see the guy working the window with his hat backwards hanging halfway out of the drive thru window shooting the breeze with a hoity toity prima Donna in a Mercedes Benz while the drive thru line is backing up. I get to the window and the 2 guys making the drinks one of which is Mr. Talks alot are consistently more involved in talking about the movie they are going to see tonight instead of making drinks correctly and quickly. I finally get my drink, I take one sip and it tastes horrible. I assume it is because the guy who made my drink poured the espresso shots on top and then mixed with a spoon. I then had to park and go inside to get it remade due to the horrible taste. Needless to say I will go to a different coffee shop in the future. read more

I was so excited when I found out they were opening up a Dutch Bros near me! I always saw other people talk about it so it's great to finally get to experience it myself, the staff are extremely friendly and professional. They always give me and my friends stickers when we ask (: I'm not a coffee person but the great thing about this place is they cater to not only coffee drinkers but people who like smoothies, milkshakes, energy drinks, sodas, teas, hot chocolate and lemonade. My current favorite drinks to get are the chai drinks (iced) Golden Eagle, Christmas Morning, and the teas (Electric Berry, Tiger's Blood). I usually go once a week while I'm nearby running errands, when I need energy after a workout or going to work that day. 10/10 recommend! read more

So I go here regularly and lately I've been going in the morning a little after 5am (they open at 5am) and the door has been locked to go inside to order and this is not the first time this has happened to me. It is inconvenient for customers such as myself whom like to go inside to order something. When I confronted them in the drive thru about it their excuse was "oh we have too much to get done". There is no excuse for that,if you are opening at 5am unlock your doors at 5am. This isn't fair to customers who want to come in to order because not everybody wants to use the drive thru and they had the drive thru open. I get I could use the drive thru but I don't want to when I like going into order so hopefully that changes because this place is honestly great overall this just really was an inconvenient experience today. read more

I am torn between 2 stars or 4. The Round Rock Dutch Bros is like that boyfriend you don't wanna let go but they keep doing you dirty. I've been here 3 times, and 2/3 they've gotten my order wrong. Which happens, but the first time they remade it, it was still wrong. I had waited like 45 minutes and it turned out they had lost my order. Which also happens. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because they are beyond friendly and the drinks are delicious. So today when it was wrong I ended up just accepting my fate. First time to try this place. 7:20 in the morning when everybody's trying to get to work. Two people in the drive-through to expedite taking orders and paying. In the teenage girl handing out the coffee saw some friend of hers in the car in front of me And sat there playing catch-up for more than five minutes while all the cars behind me continue to stack up. She finally handed them their coffee after I honked the horn. Need Better training. People are trying to get to work and it's not time to gossip. Coffee was OK. My first experience here was via the drive through and they have a really good system going. Be warned they don't have their menu posted like most places, you access it via their app (and maybe the website). I didn't know this but no worries, the fun guy taking my order wasn't deterred by the fact that I didn't know what I wanted; he asked pointed questions and gave recommendations based off my answers. I ended up with a DELICIOUS hot coffee flavored with a little chocolate and cream. Minutes later another positive, upbeat young person brought my beverage to the window. It's a super cute place with good coffee (not as good as an artisanal mom and pop but miles better than crappy Starbucks [yeah I said it...come at me bro lol]). I'll be back for sure! read more

Tried it because I heard so many great things about this place. I played it safe and got a strawberry banana smoothie and I was not impressed. For someone that gets smoothies often I could definitely tell that it was not made with real fruit. Which is fine I know some places obviously opt out the real fruit option but It definitely tasted artificial like they just threw in a flavored syrup, which is fine if you like that artificial taste. I have been going to Dutch Bros for over 20 years. We used to go to Oregon a lot and went to the Klamath Falls, OR drive up Dutch Bros often when we were there. We were so excited to hear they were opening in Round Rock. Been there three times now. The drive up is ridiculously long so I went inside all 3 times. The music is loud (as another reviewer mentioned.) The inside menu is very difficult to read and doesn't have all the offerings on it. When sitting inside the open air seating area, the loud music makes it hard to talk to the person you came with. Music is great, just too loud. They don't offer brewed decaf (and don't make fun of me, decaf is still very good) but would make me an americano. Didn't taste very good. Starbucks hardly ever has brewed decaf either, but they will make a pour over drip cup for me and it is very good. Hard to communicate to the person at the window because the music is loud and on the second time there were only about 4 people in the inside line but no one came to the window for a long time, so since I was short on time, I just left. Went back today because they were nice enough to give me a free birthday drink since I signed up for their app. I ordered a Chai Tea Latte with a shot of espresso and it was awful. I had to put more coffee in it at home to make it drinkable. It was very difficult to write this review as we have always been satisfied with the Dutch Bros in Oregon. Maybe it is just start up issues, I hope so. I will try them one more time as I really would like them to succeed... I love competition for Starbucks, so time will tell. read more
