I am not one to criticize someone's way of life- but the gentleman that took my order ignored me completely after getting my payment and turned to his co worker to chat. Now that alone wouldn't really bother me, but he started chatting about how hungover he was and how he shouldn't have come to work. He went on for the 5 minutes I sat in line talking about how much he drank/smoked the night before, how he needed to throw up, and what "crazy" things he did, how he had a headache, how he was STILL HIGH, etc. I mean, live your life to the fullest! I have been through a bunch of Dutch Bros stands, in his past 8 months; while traveling this state for work. Saint Helens, has a great crew to great you. Also, the day I stopped I asked the barista to "pick my second bev", if she would. I hated when customers did this to me, because most of the time, the people who would say that weren't regulars. There is something to be said for a coffee stand that is quick, friendly and gets your order right every single time. When we come to St. Helens to visit family I know I will get all the above at the local Dutch Bros. Also, I only drink coconut milk mochas and with them providing it I don't have to bring my own. Oh! Every time I pass this location I see cars in the drive through. I went today to try it. Fantastic service with friendly kids. The price is perfect since Oregon has no sales tax. I got a lunch car and will visit again down the road. If there is more than one car in the line the servers will come out with an iPad and take your order so it's ready when you pull up to the window read more

Went to this stand this morning. Usually we stop in scappoose but we ended up in st Helen's today and the service was rude the whole time and our coffee was wrong and even if it was correct it tasted more like water than coffee. Duh chicka duh chicka duh chicka bow wow.... [insert greeting by smiley hot person]. That's what every Dutch Brothers is like when you pull up. I swear! And this one is no different. I think they have like a little Dutch Brothers employee school that weeds out all the not-so-hots, and teaches the hot ones, who made the cut, how to be all "awesome." I bet having to be like that (super happy) is hell for them... or maybe they actually are always happy and love dancing in a small little box all day to Z100 music, while serving coffee. 5 stars alone for service - it's almost unnaturally perfect. So much so, that after you drive off, you feel like some of their upbeat awesomeness rubbed off on you. You even turn your radio to Z100 so you can be super cool like them. So, now how about their coffee, in their fun sippy coffee cups with big blue lids and big flourescent straws. Is this how coffee is served in the Netherlands? Hmmm, I wonder, well I like their coffee containers. Pretty cool. The only reason Dutch Bros doesn't get 5 stars (and I sooo wanted to) is because their coffee always tastes like chocolate milk. Oooh I love chocolate milk!! Yumm... but this is a coffee place... so yea, I want coffee. I'm more of an Americano/Espresso type gal, and not a carmel mocchiato, with extra whip type of girl (aka dessert in a cup). My brother likes the more chocolatey-milkness factor though. He is literally addicted to Dutch Brothers. I think he needs to see someone about that... just kidding Erik! I guess it depends on your own personal tastes. It might be almost unfair for me to not give them 5 stars for this reason because lots of people love that kind of coffee. The St. Helens Dutch Brothers is always amazing. The staff rocks, and is always bright and cheery. My son orders the not so hot all the time, and they always talk to him and make him feel included. My sister went through the drive through once and forgot her debit card, and they gave her the coffee and let her come back to pay for it later. That was awesome! They have a little bit of a limited menu posted, but that certainly doesn't mean they can't make the drink you want. I would put this coffee in the I'm blown away category, not with the coffee, but everything about this company. Their vibe is good, they are friendly, have to die for coffee and they are appreciative when you donate to charity, give tips, etc. I love Dutch Bros and I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried it. read more
