This is a fairly new addition to the DutCh Bros franchises. I have been to a lot of them over the years and I have to say that it is nice to see them building them bigger so the employees are not tripping all over each other. This location also has better outside seating than most and finally has decent parking spaces if you want to walk up and is by far the easiest of the lot to get in and out of. It is also set away from other businesses so you don't have to worry about it being forced to close down like the one in Phoenix for disrupting the local businesses with their traffic. read more

However, the customer at the drive thru ahead of me had a dog that was hanging out the window onto the drive thru window ledge, drinking water from a cup. Look, this ain't my first rodeo. Massively popular franchise comes to Tucson? I remember when In n out came to Kolb. I remember the great Krispy Kreme resurrection. I saw the lines, heard about the massive waits. So this guy isn't going to a grand opening. My introduction would be at 9:30pm on a Saturday, weeks after opening, because who in their right mind would drink coffee that late at ni--the line is 25 minutes long. Okay. But it's all good, these brothers of the Netherlands are directing traffic like nobody's business, so while the wait was long, it never felt long. And the dude who took my order was wearing a really dope hat, and called me bro, and I think he said yeet at some point too. Their employees have that sweet sweet balance of making me feel welcome while not offering to balance my checkbook and clean out my garage (looking at you, you beautifully invasive chicken sandwich merchants). I am of two minds of this place. First of all, I think it is overhyped, and overpriced. In fact, I find that this place is worse than Starbucks, which at least has indoor seating with booths and Wifi, so you can hangout and write Yelp reviews about how bad it is. I'm not a fan of their coffee either, but the great thing about this place is that there's a large, very solid selection of alternative drinks on the menu. When you add in their great tasting pastries, and a solid customer service experience, it is bound to become a must stop for coffee and pastry lovers. I know people who will drive a half hour, just to visit to this location, and although I worry about their health and their wallet, I will concede that they have a great point in coming here, as it is a premium experience. Still, it's still too expensive for what you get, and personally, I am not a fan of the coffee. But I do like their hot chocolate, and service, so there's that. read more

I was so happy when dutch bros finally opened up in Tucson. The menu here is beyond huge, but you can only see it online, which is a little annoying. My go to drink is the iced kicker. Really good if you like Irish creme. I wish there was a location closer to me! read more

Yessss! Was so excited to try Dutch Bros and let me tell you, they did not disappoint!! It just opened so yeah expect long lines, the line was basically out to the street but it only took about 10-15 minutes and there were TONS of cars, so it went faster than I thought. The people taking orders were extremely helpful, I had NO idea how their menu worked, it's definitely different than any other coffee shop, with an excessive amount of customizations so I was a little overwhelmed and basically just went with a recommendation from the staff and WOW IT WAS AMAZING! very knowledgeable people, and seriously the friendliest ever. My favorite coffee place in all of Tucson. LOVE their keto cold brew and highly appreciate that they have the ability to make almost any drink sugar free. Don't be intimated by the long line, unlike a more widely known coffee chain you have a personal approach to ordering and the line moves QUICK. We scrolled through the website menu to figure out what hubbs & I wanted. There are two options of ordering: drive thru or pick up at the window. We waited in the drive-thru line until a worker walked to our window. He was super friendly and funny-he also helped us decide what to order. Loved that! Both our drinks came to about $11 and the only thing I wish I didn't have was a lot of ice. My drink was tasty and not as strong as I thought it would be. So I was down at the zoo using a pass that a former co-worker gave me and I went there after my gallivanting at the zoo. I'm sorry everyone. I still think my single serve coffee maker makes coffee that's just as good and I can whip up some heavy cream for a frothy drink that's less calories than what I'd get at a coffee shop and it's much cheaper. Their drinks are so flavorful and fun and they have SO MANY options to choose from, or you could even make your own flavor combination! Think of this place as a cafe and Italian soda bar combined. They signed for my credit card (walk-up window, New Year's Eve, about 7:15 pm). I've been a victim of credit card fraud, and this is a sloppy practice... no cashier should be signing for a customer on their credit card no matter the amount. They also don't provide sleeves for their hot coffee (or at least didn't provide them for me), which is routine at most other places. The coffee was below average because it was acidic (Americano). I won't return and don't recommend this establishment. There are many coffee shops that are much better in Tucson. read more

I always get the same drink - iced kicker. I have been to this location multiple times and this is my third time in a row where I have gotten a drink that has a ton of sweetener. Love the Horchata Chai half sweet on ice no whip cream. Usually they make it with 2% milk, but no not today. How do I know? I'm lactose intolerant and my body knows it immediately with the most satisfying long extremely smelly gas this planet can produce. I love Dutch Bros but today's visit was incredible disappointing. Ordered the bubblegum Italian soda with cream and asked for a cup of water (not a bottle, a cup). Was told the water was going to be an extra charge? Strange, especially with a drink purchase. The woman in the drive through window was less than pleasurable, which is not the Dutch Bros norm. The worst part however of this trip was the drink I was given (pictured) why is a big portion of my drink missing? Truly saddened by this visit. I hope management can make sure that drinks like this are fixed and never given to a paying customer. Also it's Tucson in the middle of summer, a cup of water should really be free. read more

I went ahead and tried a hot caramelizer this time. It was really good. If you like coffee that's sweet then you will like their coffee. I would recommend getting a small because of how sweet it is. I can usually down a large at other coffee shops but here I can't even get halfway on a medium because it's so sweet. It's good just really sweet. read more

This place is always amazing. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable about their products and some have even been able to make good recommendations for new flavors to try. We usually get the Crazy Hawaiian hot cocoa or when we need some energy, we get rebels. They are blended energy drinks with different flavors. Mostnof the time spent waiting the baristas will talk to you and see how you are doing that day or what you have planned. Huge menu but I wasn't impressed. My drink was subpar and wife's was good but not great. The wait was longer than expected but it's a new fad so I can't complain too much here. The long line of cars and fully packed walk up area got dealt with eventually, but the packed walk up area definitely had some people who were there before me who hadn't yet been served it were there longer than I would've anticipated. The waiting music was hit or miss, either eclectic or obscure noise. All in all, worth a novelty try but nothing overly worthwhile. I'd rather go out of my way and support a local place versus this expanding national chain. read more
