this location is hit or miss in my opinion. the drive thru line was extra long so i decided to just order at the counter. after 15 minutes after my name not being called and seeing that the drive thru line is gone i ask why my order was never called and they just said that they probably didn't say it very loud when i was standing right next to the counter the whole time. disappointed but not surprised. the new sliders are also really small in comparison to other drink places with food for the same price. the chorizo wrap is pretty good but would like some hot sauce options read more

Dutch bros isn't an option where I'm located so whenever I venture out west I try to at least visit one time. I opted for something off the menu and got the kicker, which was served just as expected. Customer service at this location was excellent from the girl taking the order in the drive-through to the person handing my drink. All was done with a smile. The only downside to this location is that it is quite difficult to get to depending on what direction you're coming from. I had to do U-turns to get into the parking lot and then additional U-turns to leave and headed back in the direction that I wanted to go. It located behind a hotel but still on the main street so it's a little unclear to me as to why the entrance is so difficult. I can definitely see it being a spot I'd hit a regularly though when I'm in the area and especially if I'm staying at the nearby Hyatt. read more

Dutch Brothers are popping up in SoCal. I recently tried Dutch Brothers and while I was excited about the experience, I found the drinks to be overwhelmingly sugary (and barely taste the coffee). This Dutch Bros location has a drive-thru .... and as expected the line wrapped around the "windmill". We walked up to the window and placed our orders. Despite having 5+ baristas/staffs, the line never seemed to dwindle while I was there waiting for my drinks. We waited about 7+ minutes so I guess it's efficient. The plaza is small squeezing in three fast food places so be kind and courtesy to other cars. The atmosphere is "energetic" with music hip-hop playing within feet of the location. Of course, there's no sitting areas. The flavor combinations (menu is not as much as SB) are fun and name of the drinks are creative, but the taste stops here as the sweetness completely overpowers everything else, making it hard to enjoy the drink without feeling like I'm missing the coffee. The taste of coffee seems like an afterthought. :)) Maybe the espresso isn't as bold or dark roasted. We tried the vanilla latte (too sweet), chai latte (not bad but needs a stronger tea blend), macadamia nut latte (too sweet) and frappe which tastes like a milkshake! TIP: Next time, I recommend half sweetened for those who is trying to control your sugar intake. read more

My girls force me to go to one of these Dutch Bros anytime we are visiting Legoland. This past weekend was no exception. Normally we visit a different location but this time Google maps sent us to this location. Upon arrival notice the location is very small and the entrance is a little tight for cars to enter and exit. The service was very pleasant, informative, and most of all patient. He answered all our questions as we all tried to figure out what drinks we wanted to try this time. The drinks were all delicious and were finished before our drive ended. 4.5 stars Not your typical coffee shop, but more of a new school coffee shop which focuses more on sweeter drinks and smoothies. If you like boba drinks I think you'd like this place. If you prefer more traditional coffee drinks they have them too; lattes, cold brew, americano, ect. Staff was very friendly and helpful in my decision and gave suggestions. I got their best seller the Golden Eagle; espresso, vanilla, caramel and a caramel drizzle. I was then asked what kind of milk I wanted, they had non dairy milks and even offered CHOCOLATE milk! Wow never heard of that before so I had to get it. It was delicious but mostly tasted like chocolate milk, very dangerous like a cocktail when you cant taste the alcohol! They asked what size I wanted I said large but then asked how big is a large they said it was 32oz.. yikes so I got a medium which was 20 or 24oz. I think the Golden Eagle already had enough sugar in it so the addition of chocolate milk was just a tad too sweet for me. Next time I think id go for either the Annihilator (chocolate macadamia nut) with cream, or a cold brew with chocolate milk. There are 2 drive thru lanes which makes it very efficient and quick, staff is very friendly and helpful if you need recommendations. If you like sweet drinks, coffee or flavored energy drinks this is your kinda place. The coffee is very smooth and the option of chocolate milk intrigues me. read more

First time ever trying Dutch Bros and what my friends have said about this place is true. We visited today, Saturday 7/13/24 between 6-6:30 pm. The new building is modern & located right next to the newly built Wendy's that's also now open as well. It's kind of tight going into the drive-thru so thankfully we went when it wasn't busy. First of all, the young man that stood on the side of the drive-thru that took our order was extremely nice, super friendly, and patient to help us decide what to order. He gave us a pocket menu that was really helpful that we got to keep to have on hand for next time. Was grateful they had 2 lanes for the drive-thru so we didn't feel frazzled & rushed. Then, the other young man at the window to pick up our order was also extremely nice & super friendly as well! I didn't get his name but he was wearing a baseball cap & sunglasses. Customer service is awesome here. Sadly such a rarity these days at other establishments. So kudos to the hiring/training manager! Our order was correct. We both got the Golden Eagle, hot with oat milk & the other, blended with regular milk. Both were absolutely delicious! As someone who's been looking forward to having a Dutch open up in Vista, I'm so so so happy to report that this place has the same awesome vibes as the one in Oceanside! The lot is still under construction so the traffic is limited but it's on its way to expanding I presume with the construction. I always recommend asking the barista what they like so you can try new flavors and drinks you wouldn't have normally. A dreamweaver is my favorite (white chocolate hazelnut). The folks who work here are awesome and will help you out regardless of what your preferences are!! I'm so so so excited to see this Dutch grow and be my new favorite stop on my way to work!!! We happened to be staying next door at the Hyatt. We came on a Sunday night and they were not busy. The car line was only 3 to 4 cars. We walked right up. The service was friendly and quick. I am a recent Dutch Bros customer, while my sister has been a fan for years. She got me hooked on their drinks. I got an email for a giveaway "Lil Bros" starting at 3pm. I work graveyard shifts and am not awake by 3pm, but I told my sister about it. I said I wanted the set, she did too so she didn't mind waiting in line for some time. She arrived early and said she was one of the first few in line. She ordered 5 drinks. We only wanted 1 each but for the increased chances of the various Lil Bros figures was enough for her to buy extras. She bought 5 drinks. She was given the drinks and saw the employee go into a bag where he grabbed 5 of the Lil Bros and gave them to her. She ripped open 2 of them and saved 3 for me when I woke up. She explained both of hers were the cup figure. I opened one of the 3 left, it was the cup. We suspected this was not random. Instead of opening the others we felt through the bag that the other 2 were clearly the same thing, the cup. One of two things happened. (Otherwise the odds are .4% of it actually being random) 1) The employees felt and separated the "good" figures (dog and cat) giving them to people they wanted to give them to or kept for themselves. or 2) They were not in fact random and the employee grabbed from the bag that was full of the cup figures and not mixed with the others. I felt terrible because my sister and I both wanted the set or at least some variation. She was in tears because she wanted to surprise me with them and felt like she let me down that they were all "cup" figures. I decided to drive to the nearest Dutch Bros to me (not this location) and the manager was very friendly and explained they were all gone and there was nothing they could do. It was not even his location this happened at but I could tell he was genuine in his apology for another stores shortfall. At the end of the day they are little toys, not the end of the world. What upsets me is that it was not by chance, rather something wrong happened and there is nothing we can do about it. I wish management would make it right but when I reached out to customer service they hit me with the "it's random" line. It wasn't. I wish someone would recognize that and do the right thing. read more

Always a pleasant experience when we hit up Dutch Bros. So far we've only been to three or four in our area but all have been a great experience. I swung by while my son was in the studio. So on my last trip, I decided to drive through and get my Java fix. A very sweet and pleasant young lady kept running from car to car on both sides of the driveway and taking orders and payments. You have to go online to see all the drinks they offer as the menu in drive through does not show everything they have. The first time I tried Dutch Bros I did not like it. Although having this kind of near where I pass through, I can say that I'm glad that I have given it a try. I'm a big fan of their dirty sodas which was recommended by one the workers that was in drive thru and he was really sweet and patient about explaining the drink to me. Which I'm thankful for, since I didn't feel rushed or made to feel like I was annoying him. As well their Red Bull drinks are good. I can say that their coffee still tastes milked down to me but I feel like through time they've gotten better at implementing the coffee flavor more. I say this because I went in today and tried their cereal latte and I can say it tasted more like coffee than any other time that I've gone. Anywho, it was good regardless, I enjoyed the marshmallows on top of my cereal latte.
