She then made someone's boba drinks wrong it was supposed to have no boba but instead they both had boba. I stopped here on Saturday after a Vet visit next door. I went to school across the street many many years ago and am so surprised that I've never been here before. I liked the ambience when I walked in even though there was noone in side. The lady behind the counter was nice and asked if I needed time to order or if I was ready. I ended up ordering a Mango slushie which was good. However I want to say that I have had better at other Boba spots. I felt like the mango flavor here was a little artificial but overall it was good. Will I come back? Yes probably. There aren't too many places in Vista to get my boba fix in. The downfall of boba places we have tried would be their boba and this one fell into that category. The boba was very difficult to drink with a straw because they were stuck to each other so you really had to put it effort to get it through the straw. The boba was also very mealy. Woooow, this place is serving up delicious boba with freshhhhhh ingredients!! We were lucky enough to meet the owner, who made our drinks. She treated us like family and gave us samples and great advice on what to order. we had the Taro milk tea and a honeydew slushy milk tea. Both were absolutely amazing. I have been to plenty of boba places and this place is far above the rest. First, they make their boba daily, so it's fresh and not hard or gummy. Secondly, the owner uses products from taiwan, yes these products cost more for her but it makes their teas so much more authentic. The owner takes pride in her product and it shows in the taste!!! Boba hut doesn't stop with teas, they have vegan sandwiches, açaí bowls and much much more. I will be coming here from now on!!! I wasn't going to leave a review, but after the owner was dismissive, I decided to leave a review. I have visited this Boba hut and deli shop a few times and the sandwiches were fine. But today we ordered two turkey with avocado sandwiches and another sandwich. I and my daughter had the turkey sandwiches and we got food poisoning. Our friend who did not have a turkey sandwich did not get food poisoning. I contacted the shop made it clear that I was not requesting a refund. I made it clear that I was only contacting them to let them know something was clearly wrong with their turkey, just for the purpose that they would not use that meat to make more sandwiches because I was concerned about the customers also getting sick. Yes I am that caring Neighbor. Who I believe to be the owner became argumentative saying how they've been in business for X amount of years and never has anyone gotten sick from their food, also how the turkey was fresh and she made other sandwiches. She just came at me hard with a bunch of excuses as to how she knew it was not the sandwiches that gave us food poisoning. So I have diarrhea from the food I purchased at her shop and now she is calling me a liar. The way she jumped with all the reasons why it wasn't the sandwiches that made us sick, It seems as if she had it all memorized or use to that complaint . Again very defensive instead of apologetic. She next started to question me if I had anything to drink with the food, if we had eaten out anywhere else within the last 24 hours, again trying to prove me wrong when I'm the one with a bloated stomach after eating her food sitting on the toilet with nonstop, liquidy feces. She also mentioned how she is trained in the food poisoning field, idk why she felt it necessary to tell me that. Anyway she said I could go back and get 2 more sandwiches. North County isn't known for their boba places for awhile & the main one that ruled the streets is terrible, so you can fully understand my overwhelming shock while I was driving on Melrose and had to make a U-turn to come back and try this place's Boba! I was greeted by a lovely lady and ordered my Black Milk Tea with Boba! Then I looked on the menu and saw that they had food as well, and what goes better with boba? Food! Especially yummy food! I need to be better at updating ... I still come to this place since my review in 2012. Since my last review I have to add that the Thai Tea flavor has been dead on for some time now. I have tried other flavors and the one I have been ordering often is the Chamango. It is the bomb! Do you like sweet, spicy and sour? You get it all in one shot in Chamango. I probably could drink two in one sitting! I've also tried the sandwiches, very good and made with fresh ingredients. The Acai Bowl is something to try too. I love Acai, this is the real mccoy. The owners are fabulous ladies, you can catch them time to time. I love the beach feel when you walk into the place. It is nicely decorated and always clean, especially the restroom. I have only two complaints: the boba balls are sometimes too big and get stuck in the straw, and when I ordered 5 drinks they didn't have any convenient way of carrying it out so they put them all in a big paper bag...they rolled about in my car. At least they were sealed well because none leaked so I was happy about that. However, I suggest getting some carriers for those of us who like to buy treats for friends and/or coworkers etc. I haven't tried the food yet but I will next time. The woman working the counter was wonderfully patient with them, so on service alone I'd say she deserves four stars. The 5th is cause they have an awesome product. I had a Tiger Milk Tea and tasted a sip of my friends Thai. Both were delicious with super soft boba and a caffeine buzz that kept me goin' for the entire afternoon and into the evening. They have a ton to choose from on their menu so I'd recommend reading some Yelp reviews to expedite your order faster as it can be overwhelming if you're not familiar with bubble tea. My drink tasted below average, fake and very very sugary. This is not what real boba drinks taste like. I've been to lots in SoCal! Unfortunately, this place uses taro powder, powdered milk, lots of water, and lots of sugar. Also, the boba is put on an open plastic container in their kitchen. Plastic is not safe and it is not covered so it is not sanitary. Also, the owner, after getting my money, touched my straw and gave it to me to use. The straw had no covering so it had her germs on it. And you cannot get your own straw because it is behind the counter. I have been to other boba places where their taro milk tea is made from scratch and there is real actual taro pieces in the drink. Moreover, they use real dairy milk that is organic. They also have options if you like organic soy, almond or coconut milk. And you can adjust the sugar levels. This place has none of that. And this place charges the same price compared to higher quality boba stores. Today is definitely my first and last visit. read more

I had the blended taro drink with boba, and the blend wasn't good, it felt like it was done with a cheap blender. The flavor was also very bland, one of those really bad boba drinks you order and feel like you regret paying the money. So I really like boba tea and this place is great since I live so close! The Tiger Milk Tea is great, the place is never packed, and the orders are made fresh and delicious. I have been here twice however and have had very peculiar experiences each time which dock Boba Hut and Deli two stars. That and the price is a bit high for boba in Southern California. The door was unlocked however and it was in the middle of winter which I assumed was common for the stores to do. After a nice chat, we paid for our tea and left. Second time, I walked into the store on a Wednesday at 2PM. I ordered a Tiger Milk Tea and proceeded to make small talk to the staff behind the counter before seeing the owner. Trying to be friendly, I said hello and made eye contact before receiving the side eye. From than, I paid for my tea and walked out with a funny vibe. I would like to continue to try this place, order food, and maybe even sit down and eat once however the store itself makes me feel somewhat uneasy. I will continue to try and it is debatable whether this is a me thing or the sore itself however I will figure it out. read more

What a nice little place to stop with the kids after school for a snack. They have quite the menu of drink options (Boba, shakes, smoothies, etc) and flavors. My son tried a sandwich. They have a really nice deli style set up where you write what you want on an order form to customize sandwich. Perfect for a picky eater. The environment was super casual and somewhat comfortable but the sign on the bathroom said it wasn't for customers (even though the one on the wall says it is). So, I hope that you have clean hands when you come in to eat or you live nearby if you have to go potty after having a drink.
