Loved everything from Sip n Sea!! They have a great menu and everyone working there was so friendly. OG Acai bowl was phenomenal - one of my favorites in the area! The honey is incredibly flavorful - I've never noted the honey as a standout ingredient of an Acai bowl before but whatever honey they use is so floral and delicious it adds a really special flavor to the bowl. Great acai base as well that isn't too sweet. Matcha latte - I got the honey lavender and even with that flavor added it was not too sweet which I really appreciated. They also have juice and baked goods - what a great spot!! read more

This spot is AMAZING! The customer service was spectacular! My drink was too sweet and I wanted a new flavor, they remade it for me! I got the iced matcha with vanilla syrup and their vanilla cold foam and it was so good I came back the next day for another one. Disclaimer, I got 25% sweetness the first time and then 15% and it was perfect for me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Outside seating area is nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Didn't have to wait long for my drink despite it being pretty busy. Free parking lot right next door. I stopped by with my pup Waffles, who was very happy about his pup cup, and I tried the seasonal Banana Cream drink. It was absolutely delicious creamy, flavorful, and not overly sweet. My friend and I visited this place because we thought it was a drive thru but it's not LOL. We had no problem finding parking on the side of the road though! I ordered an iced sugar free vanilla latte with oat milk. Awesome place to stop on the way to San Diego. We had the opportunity to stop here for the first time this past weekend and it did not disappoint. We placed an online order for one of the acai bowls, an iced honey matcha, and an iced vanilla matcha. Everything was excellent, especially the acai being sourced from a small farm in Brazil, you can truly taste the difference! I am in Encinitas quite often, so when I have time, I try to stop here and get their flavored coffees, the kids would always get their brown sugar boba, and sometimes some acai bowl. Since the ordering window for this place is next to a large mural with boba fett wearing a boba tea cup I actually thought it was a boba shop. It's more a coffee shop that also happens to sell some boba (not that there's anything wrong with that). They have a nice selection of coffee, pastries, craft tea, smoothies, and acai bowls. Honestly I thought their boba tea selection was somewhat lacking with only five or six choices. But their boba itself was good. They had the good ole standby of tarot as an option, which was nice. This isn't a store you go into. There's a window you order from and then there's some picnic tables you can sit at. There are some parking spots available at the motel that is next door. Just be careful to observe the signage so you know you're parking in the designated ones. read more

Located in my favorite little ocean city, lies this adorable shack. They say good things come in small packages. Well, they're right! I got a vanilla matcha with coconut milk and the coconut acai bowl. All I can say is WOW this is the best acai bowl I've tasted and I have tasted MANY... Other places I've tried like to drown out the authentic taste of the acai berry with other fruit juices but not here. The flavor was prominent and enchanting. I seriously couldn't get enough of it! The coconut puree was like ice cream - just divine. Every bite I had kept me saying how good it was. The matcha was perfect as well, but the showstopper is their acai. Their shop is super cute on the side of the road in Encinitas! But they have a parking lot, so no worries about the parking. Located next to the sea with boutique shops and food, there's a lot of stuff to do. Their staff was super nice and helped pick out a coffee brew. So there's pretty much an açai bowl place on every corner in Southern California. But this place really stands out. I was staying close by and it was within walking distance so it became my morning ritual. I will miss it greatly. I ordered the Maple Gold Brew ( 1/2 sweet) and it was plenty sweet for my taste, so just a heads‑up if you like things more subtle. The chocolate coconut chip cookie was a skip for me--not bad, just not memorable. That said, the açaí bowl was phenomenal. The granola especially stood out--super crunchy, fresh, and honestly one of the best I've had. I'd definitely come back specifically for the bowl and would happily reorder that again. read more

Cappucino was so Italian I got goosebumps. They source quality ingredients from local farmers which is priority for me. I actually now visit some of them and shop from them for my own household thanks to the wonderful owners. Amazing staff. Sparkling clean. Convenient parking. Walkable location. We got the espresso tonic, latte, strawberry matcha, and the matcha latte. The strawberry matcha was not too sweet but had plenty of strawberry flavor that didn't take over the matcha taste. It's a tiny stall where you just walk up and order. I got their Matcha Cream on Top which is a matcha latte with vanilla bean syrup and cream on top. Both the matcha and the cream were pretty watery. Even though it was freshly made, everything tasted quite diluted and muted. Wasn't a fan. I've previously been to their La Jolla location and absolutely loved it! The coffee and matcha there were both great. Hopefully this location catches up.

The friendly service adds to the overall experience. Initially, I was contemplating getting a coffee, but my friend insisted on trying the matcha. And let me tell you, you won't regret it. As I mentioned earlier, I'm not usually a fan of matcha, and I often end up regretting it and discarding it. But this time, I was pleasantly surprised. This place has such a loyal following that people will happily walk a few blocks just to get their Revo fix. One of my favorite things is their seasonal menu. I've learned to fully embrace each special while it's here because once it's gone, it's gone. Right now, I'm completely obsessed with the Coconut Mango Sticky Rice Matcha. I'm pretty sure the baristas recognize me as "the Sticky Rice Matcha lady" at this point! I'm soaking up every sip while it's in season, and although I'll be sad when it's gone, I know they'll surprise me with something amazing next season. Their food is just as impressive. The toast is delicious, they use Prager Brothers bread, organic avocado, and fresh tomatoes, and you can really taste the difference that quality ingredients make. It's refreshing to find a café that clearly cares about food integrity. Another huge bonus for me is that they offer almond milk. So many coffee shops default to oat milk, but I appreciate having another option that fits my preferences. The only downside is the parking. My strategy is simple: go early if you can. Once it gets busy, finding a spot can be an adventure. But even with that minor inconvenience, Revolution Roasters is absolutely worth the trip. Incredible coffee, thoughtful seasonal drinks, quality ingredients, and a team that clearly cares about what they serve. Easy five stars.
