I came back and visited this location again. This time I got their various milk teas. The brown sugar boba was quite sweet. The Oreo and puffy cream flavor was overpowering with Oreos that my nephew didn't even taste the added boba. My milk tea with puffy cream was delicious. I don't think the puffy cream is needed as the milk tea base was quite tasty already. We also got the original bubble wrap and this time it was made perfectly. Thanks Heather! Overall great experience. Staff was super friendly. Greeted us as we were walked in and wished us a nice day when we left. I like the avocado with boba and have gotten it when at the mall. Rarely only because I'm rarely at the mall. But I prefer this to any other drink at the mall. Those in my party that got the Oreo tea with boba, said it was mostly just ice and nearly no flavor. I saw it, it really was mostly huge cubes of ice. They finished it in less than a minute, it had that few liquid in it. The mango one a friend said was good. And the strawberry lemonade. So while I give it high stars for being my go to while at the mall, I had to take down the stars because some drinks were just sad and expensive for a few sips and done. Crispy edges with a soft filled center ( bubble) of cheese or Oreo filling. There is an original one too which I haven't had yet. You can also purchase a side sauce to dip it into; Puff Cream , Puff & Oreo cream, or Salted Cheese. I had the Milk Tea with Oreo and Puff Cream with no sweetener. The mango sago is so light and refreshing! I order it 50% sweet and it is perfect. The fresh cut mango makes this drink. As for the ube Thai tea, I think it has coconut milk or coconut cream, the coconut complements the Thai tea and ube flavor soooo well. We got it with boba and it was delicious. Happy Lemon is a great little boba place! The location is not great for a quick stop due to the restricted parking for the mall. The drink selection is somewhat smaller than other boba places which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but if you want super creative drinks, this isn't the best place. It was a beautofully made drink, but he ended up giving me the cap that did not allow the straw to go through. It was OK because I was able to sip the salted cheese and enjoyed the drink anyway. The type of cup they use is skinnier at the bottom. The drinks are so tasty that I feel like I drink my $8 treat within 2 minutes! I'm being dramatic, but it's a good spot for a treat. Happy lemon does not mess with their salt series in their special summer series with Sago what's great is that they even have a pet edition which I've never seen before. I got the popular E1 mango Matcha smoothie and we also got the bubble waffle which was with Oreo and that was a great new addition. The place is clean and overall I would say it's a great place to try your milk tea and if you want a quick snack like a waffle, you should get one here. What a great spot to get your boba milk tea. The good thing an out happy lemon is that they are CONSISTENT. The drinks are good no matter where you go and the boba is chewy and soft. I tried the matcha mango smoothie and the strawberry shortcake smoothie. Both are my favorite from there. I love the texture of the smoothie, it's blended to perfection and with the right amount of ice and fruit. I love adding the Crystal boba to both it goes very well with both. Literally so happy that more Happy Lemons are available in North County! Hands down one of my favorite boba options. I used to love all of their salted cheese options but have been recently opting for their strawberry green/black teas with lychee jelly. You can't go wrong with any option on their menu. If you can handle dairy, then you MUST try any of their salted cheese boba teas. They are all fantastic and taste so much better than they may sound. Definitely go for the bubble waffles too! Very fluffy and sweet. This location doesn't have a lot of seating but there are a few tables inside and one table outside. The staff is pretty friendly and fast! Ok so I'm not new to Bobba teas and drink them often as it's just my thing. The establishment of this place is cool and very pleasant to the eye. It's located on the outside of the mall which is very convenient. The customer service definitely needs some help as you get people who greet you but just stare at you like hurry up.... and don't ask if you need help or assist making a choice. Customer service is key to customers coming back. I asked about a couple of items on the list the girl in the front today acted as if she new nothing about the drinks which is ok but don't give your customers the look as if they should know what's in the drinks when not obvious. They do have milk substitutes which is a plus. I got the winter melon classic tea from the series which tasted nothing like melon but more like a Carmel milk and no tea. The flavor ratio is all off at this place. Husband ordered a fresh squeezed hot tea nothing but lemon and nothing like tea. Son had the cold version of fresh squeezed lemon black tea and stated he tasted no tea in his but a sweet good lemonade. My other son got an Oreo smoothie which he just said it was ok and didn't brag about it as he often does if it's good. He said it ok I've had better. Wish this place had been better. read more

FULL BLOWN SCAM AND DOOR DASH WON'T REFUND THE FULL AMOUNT. SCAM!!!! $6! It gave me back $6 and KEPT my $5 reward!!!! SCAM!!!! It has a single little bathroom and 4-5 tables inside with a few tables outside. By Sephora/yard house on the exterior of the mall. This is about the third time that this happens to me... This happen two consecutive Saturdays and yesterday. The two consecutive Saturdays when I went it was 10pm, I checked google before I even going and they still had a whole 30mins of being open. I get there and the first thing the employee said wasn't even hi welcome, it was "fyi we're out of bobba, we're not taking cash." Yesterday they said they were out of milk tea, which was very funny bc after I ordered something else the women behind me ordered a milk tea and oddly they were able to prepare that for her... very upsetting I never had an issue at this location but it seems with all these new faces , this is becoming more of an issue. This boba is consistent and standard across the board of happy lemon franchises, you're not really gonna get something weird here I noticed. I will say I wish they had the smaller size cup because the large is quite large (24 oz I think) and I feel bad not finishing it every time I get it.
