The people that took the order did a fine job. Although, I could barely hear them because my ears were assaulted by music that was comedically too loud. I ordered a medium iced chai and payed $7 for watered down sugar milk that had a fart essence of cinnamon. Super disappointing. There's something about this Dutch spot that I keep giving a chance to and I don't know why... every time I go there's always attitude for no reason if you don't like your job then get a different one or don't work with the public... apparently they updated their app and it's all new, and none of them know how to use it. I wanted to use my free drink and the girl didn't know how to activate the points. Luckily I figured it out and was able to use it but still you should be aware of updates on your app. There is also this one time that me and a girlfriend went through the Dutch line and the girl came up to our window and took her order. I paid and everything scanned my app, then got up to the window and they said that I needed to pay, and I said no I already paid, apparently it didn't go through but the girl holding the iPad couldn't tell me that. So, DB is known for their service, and up until this experience, I could expect that friendly, up-best service up and down the coast -- or from Reno to Washington, rather. Even though Reno/Carson has DB, it's my thing to always stop at every location when we travel and I've never been disappointed. This particular location is definitely an anomaly, as from the moment we pulled in and was approached by the girl with a tablet and a bad 'tude, it just went further down the dump. She said the script that I'm sure she was trained to do, but when you're trained to say something and you actually mean something -- it's painfully obvious. First off, you should probably make eye contact, smile, or at least be pretending you're talking to me when you wish me a good day -- not rolling your eyes and looking at someone pulling in behind me. I let that slide, though. I mean, everyone has bad days and it's probably not the best position to be outside versus having fun with the 6-7 other staff members laughing and talking together inside. However, when we pulled up to the window for our drink, the girl wasn't much better. She tried the small talk, as well, but seemed disinterested in giving me time to even respond. *lmao* It was actually quite funny because it is so unlike DB and painfully obvious that these kids just didn't fit the bill for being DB material. read more

Fun-loving, Southern Oregon coffee culture stand. Come here if you need someone who seems to be an instant friend. Upon driving up your greeted by baristas who ask "How's it going?" And "what you been up to?". For the visitor, this may seem so strange...but in the small culture kind of way, it works! Best part is the baristas remember your drink! Upon visiting for only a few days, the barista asked if I was having my normal! The coffee beans aren't that great...but the syrup covers it...and with this kind of service it "feels" right to return. Love the slogan....life is good! read more

I definitely come to this Dutch Bros location every time I come back home to visit family. Each time I come the staff is always friendly. I have not really had a bad experience here so nothing negative to say. When I ask for suggestions of different drinks to try (because I'm the weird one who likes to mix up coffee orders). The suggestions are always good. I always see the staff here having fun and communicate well with each other this sets for a positive environment when I pull up to the window. I never really have to wait long for a drink either. Definitely one of my favorite spots to go to get coffee. read more

My family is from California and we're visiting crater Lake for the weekend. I am a broista at a Dutch Bros in my hometown so we had to stop by after a long day of hiking. The girl who helped us just now was absolutely lovely and my mom insisted on me leaving a review because she had "never had a Dutch experience quite like that". She's also super picky about the way her drink is made and said it was like I had specially made it for her!! Sure I have a BMW don't mean I appreciate bent over boobs in my face. I'm from Grants Pass, the town where Dutch Bros started. I've been drinking ONLY Dutch Bros coffee ever since they opened. I usually get a DB every single day. At $4.75 per day, it can add up but the coffee is good and the service was usually quick and decent. I will never drink Dutch Bros again after today. I counted 5 people working in the stand, there could have been six, but I only saw five. From the time I pulled up (I was the 3rd car in line) it took 16 minutes to get my coffee. It made me late for work. The people working in the stand were horrible and argumentative with me. They handed me a tablet. First day they've done this. (Mind you, I was there yesterday, paid with my debit card LIKE ALWAYS) and they didn't hand me a tablet. They're trying to get more tips, so they hand me a tablet to give them a tip. What a CROCK OF SHIT!! First, they can't even make my coffee in a decent time, now they want a tip? I handed the tablet back to the girl and said just give me my coffee and card please. She argued with me that I needed to give them a tip and sign for it. They she argued for another two minutes on how "this is the way DB has ALWAYS done it". I told her "No, I've been buying DB for years, since before she was even born and never was forced to give a tip and sign for it." Either way, I'll be going to Starbucks or Human Bean near my house because they don't force you to tip and definitely are WAY FASTER THAN DUTCH BROTHERS with half the people working in the stands. I'm blown away that Travis let his company go to complete garbage with some of the people he's been hiring. I went here twice. The first time was fine. But the second time was disappointing. I walked up to the window as a pedestrian and waited patiently at the front window. There were several people working and at least two of them looked right at me. No one acknowledged my presence. No one said "just a minute," or gave me a hold-on signal. Nothing. I waited in the cold while cars kept going through and getting taken care of. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I knocked on the window to politely alert them of my presence, but they completely ignored me. I went without my coffee today :( Very rude. Closest db to my house, on the way to work, and I'll never go back. There is one barista that is awesome, but the rest are atrocious. I've gone back and back again for the last year since I've lived here, always hoping that they'll be able to do better, but nope. They've not been able to remember my normal drink 7 times out of 10, the main girl in the morning has an attitude from hell and always seems waaaaay too rushed, not friendly at all, and I have complained about her to a regional manager. I'm done with Dutch Bros. because of this and the other White City location. I can't remember this location ever getting an order right the first time. The employees are way too focused on playing around with each other and/or flirting with some of their customers and not nearly focused enough on paying attention and moving people thru the ever present lines. Read the reviews from J.G.G. and Satori S. Both are spot on. I've seen a male employee give a female customer several drinks (in the SUV ahead of me) and then refuse to let her pay. When I pulled up next, after listening to the employee waste time with the customer, the employee happily asked me to pay for my single drink. I guess I wasn't his type... and then he got my simple order wrong and had to remake it. I thought he messed the order up because the music was blaring so loud he couldn't hear me but I now believe he just cares more about acting and being cool than paying attention to customers. I wrote to the Dutch Bros corporate office after that experience to complain and to make some helpful suggestions on how they could improve their customer service. As hip as Dutch Bros tries to be, it took 2.5 weekdays to get a response to my email which was sent via the Dutch Bros website using their Contact page. That's TWO AND A HALF WEEKDAYS to respond to a customer service inquiry. In 2016. From a hip, plugged in, progressive company like Dutch Bros. I would be lying if I didn't say I was off-put by that. The response was to let me know that my email had been forwarded to the local Franchisee for follow-up. Later the same day I received an email from a representative of the local Franchisee stating "we will be addressing the issue" and offering to send some free beverage coupons. That was on April 1. I didn't write for free beverages, but I thought it was a nice gesture so I sent my mailing address the same day (4/1/16) and thanked the representative for the hospitality. That was also on 4/1/16. I had not received the coupons nor had anyone followed-up with me since 4/1/16 but I stopped at this location a couple weeks later to get a beverage and see if anything had changed. The music was at a much lower volume but I was greeted by a young male employee who is young enough to be my son with "hey dude, how's your day going"? I'm a lot of things, but I'm not anyone's "dude". Then the employee proceeded to double check my order not once, not twice, but three times. Each time he would dance (literally) to the area where someone else was making my drink and then he would dance back to the window to re-confirm with me. It was irritating, probably more so because he greeted me as "dude", but I appreciated that if he couldn't keep a two beverage order straight for more than a couple seconds, at least he was doing the right thing and double checking with me before proceeding. I appreciated it up until the moment that he checked my order for the fourth time and announced they made the order wrong and would have the corrected order out in a minute or two. When I pulled up to the window there was one car behind me. By the time I received my order, there were 4 cars in line behind me. All because my new "dude" friend, and/or the young female employee who actually made my drinks, couldn't focus long enough to get a simple order right. Unreal and the end of the line for me as a Dutch Bros customer. Oh, and the coupons that were promised on 4/1/16? I check my mail daily and as of 4/15/16 there were no coupons from Dutch Bros. I honestly don't know why I was surprised by that. In hindsight, the bigger surprise would have been actually receiving what they promised to send in a timely manner. A company that takes 2.5 days to respond to a customer inquiry in this day and age of Millennial Instant Gratification, everything about my experiences with Dutch Bros has been underwhelming. So I wrote again, this time directly to the people CC'd on my responses from 4/1/16, advising of the latest round of customer service issues and to let them know I didn't receive what the local Franchisee promised to send. I told them I don't want the coupons anymore because I will never spend money at a Dutch Bros again. The response was "I just wanted to let you know I did check our records and your cards were sent out". The Franchisee is local and I'm local. I can receive mail from Asia in less than 15 days so I will donate my coupons to a homeless person if/when they ever show up. Perhaps the bubbly and inattentive Dutch Bros employees will be able to brighten that person's day. I have been frequenting The Human Bean (behind The Apple Peddler at the intersection of Hwy 62 & Hwy 140) and Starbucks on Hwy 62. Both have provided excellent service, friendly employees and great beverages. I spend my money with those companies now. read more

This is the closest Dutch Bros near me. Recently moving to Eagle Point from Grants Pass, the change in quality of Dutch is awful. Today, for example, I ordered my usual rebel: Cherry Almond Vanilla. That is not what I received, however. Instead I was given Cherry Almond Lime. It wasn't too disgusting, the only problem was I AM ALLERGIC TO LIME. I have been going here for 5 years, loved it in the beginning. All of sudden their drinks suck.. how many times can I say extra shots please! but the normal (assuming manager) always likes to put in her 2 cents ( the drink already comes with blah blah shots!) ok.. I can appreciate that, but if my drink sucks than its my fault! but stop giving me shit that taste like milk! I have now started going to Human Bean White City more often they don't contradict my order and I take full responsibility of my own drink because I ordered it that way. I HATE driving away and to drink something that taste like warm milk!
