Before our flight we grabbed a quick bite. It's all self serve. We had a croquet and vleesbroodje. This place is nice and has typical Dutch souvenirs and food. We enjoyed our snacks sitting there while waiting for our flight.

Expensive and they sell what they do not have in stock. Fresh mint. Paid for and not received

Fresh mint tea with no fresh mint. Wow. Sold at 4.40 euros and not a fresh mint sprig to be found. Pretty delft blauw, Slow service, fresh fruit juices not fresh.

Food was good, the idea of Dutch pancakes piqued my interest so I gave them a try. Syrup was alright as well. For a "cafeteria" style restaurant in an airport, it wasn't bad. And the ladies in the kitchen were nice and helpful.

Ordered the dozen mini pancakes "poffertjes" and bacon. I should have requested crispy bacon. Some was crisp, others were soft. (See picture). The pancakes were fluffy-ish. If they had a crisp edge, they would have been great! Would order something else next time. I guess I like a crispy breakfast! LOL

Overpriced and mediocre food... But airport food as always is a bit overpriced so no surprise there. Came at breakfast time and their breakfast menu displayed outside of the restaurant shows items ranging from €7 to €15; however, at the counter they also have sandwiches that are more full, lunch meals and are only €5-6. I got the Dutch pancakes (crepes to those from the US) and these were nice and thick (but of course not as thick as an American pancake). You add your own powdered sugar and syrup. €7.45. Medium cappuccino was €4.30 and tasted absolutely awful. The ham and sun-dried sandwich was decent if you can stomach a full sandwich for breakfast. €5.95. Food came quick so it was nice for a sit down meal but don't expect much.

It's been a while since we traveled internationally due to the pandemic, but after coming from La (10 hour flight and 9 hour time difference) I was craving breakfast in the morning. Weird since it's 12am where I came from but oh well... in comes Dutch Kitchen! We walked around for a bit and eventually I smelled bacon and omelets, and I was like yes this is it. We ordered: - 2x omelets - Mini Pancakes Loved the mini pancakes. The omelets were okay, but expected and good enough to fill our craving. Cheaper than LaX airport, but still expensive for what it was. Airports The service was ok- but maybe culturally different. They weren't overly friendly and instead very straightforward and to the point, not chit chat or warmth. That's a downside for me but again can't tell if that's cultural.

Self service restaurant. Get a big thin pancake and watch how your stomach thanks yoy for loving it. Watching the creation of omelets with all the fixins was like watching an artist at work. He was quick, efficient and knew the choreography of the magical concoctions that can transform a raw egg into a satisfying breakfast. Also has other grilled items and fresh juice.

I spent nearly $20 American dollars for a ham/bacon omelette with a side of hash browned potato triangles, an apple crumb dessert and a TINY 6oz Landgoed De Olmenhorst Perensap fruit drink that was terribly expensive (which I didn't know until I looked at my receipt). I did, however, find a cool video for their products: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Z_oRmUzrlE ... THE FOOD The omelettes look and smell so good when cooking that I was instantly drawn here as I walked the airport trying to find a unique eating experience for my Atlanta taste buds. The basic omelette starts @ $8.75 with a $1 up-charge for every meat/cheese ingredient added something I also did not notice while viewing the menu). While the omelette was unique, it took a little doctoring with salt & pepper to bring it to taste. I was surprised the taste didn't match the wonderful smell. The potatoes were also bland and greasy, but the crumb apple thingy was pretty good. Not sure if it was worth the money, but definitely a must try for a first-time European experience. ... THE EXPERIENCE The store was open kitchen with a cute and clean decor. The lines were a little confusing as you must order and pay at separate counters. It took longer to receive my order than I expected considering it wasn't very crowded. The staff was also not particularly warm or friendly. Maybe it was because I was an American and several of the cooks taking my order didn't seem to speak much English, or at the very least seemed confused by my requests. I found their lackadaisical demeanor to be a bit odd, but I was still determined to have a good experience considering I'd never been across the pond before! ... THE VERDICT I'd probably give Dutch Kitchen another try if I were in the airport for a layover again, but only if I couldn't find a different restaurant with a more appealing menu. Now, with a little experience I know to ask for a little salt & pepper while the omelette is in the cooking stages. I doubt that I would order the Perensap juice drink again. I loved the flavor, but for it's size it was as expensive as a good wine! Overall it was an average experience with some good and not so good elements. 2017/5

We sat in the bar area for a drink and I would describe it as perfectly a-ok - I had a glass of rosé which was nice, and the chairs are comfy. Staff are friendly and you can pay by card which was handy as we didn't have any Euros. Would I rush back? No, but if I was in lounge 2 at the airport again I'd definitely pop in here for a drink or two. It's right near the casino if you're into that kind of thing.

Just another food court. Not sure what is the "typical Dutch" thing here. Maybe expensive panini.

Not bad, it's a grab and go and a place where you can order hot food. I got a Dutch pancake which was decent. It's a really busy spot.

There was a nice variety of sad and disappointing - sad and disappointing sandwiches, sad and disappointing pizza, sad and disappointing sushi, Burger King - but everything did appear to be sad and disappointing. I went with Leon because it looked less sad, and even a little bit interesting. The food? It was fine. Nothing special. Nothing I would seek out in a non-airport setting. I had the Korean chicken wrap. It was exactly the quality you'd expect from an airport fast food establishment located thousands of miles from Korea. The rice bowls appeared to be of a similar quality. If I'd been hungrier, I would have ordered one of them. So why five stars? The five stars is to their employee Ivanka (her name was on the receipt), who handled the massive line of stressed out customers with efficiency, grace, and good humor. If you are the manager/owner of Leon, you should give her a raise. If you are hiring for a company in Amsterdam, you might want to look into poaching her.

The weird thing was this ketchup sauce they had in the sandwiches. We THINK it was curry ketchup, but not positive. The sandwich was tasty. It was on an English muffin that was not what used to seeing. (Funny when you only know American style English Muffins. ) My daughter & I had Latte Macchiato's - they were so darn good. (Going to miss my European coffees. Again!) They have a decent seating area, but not geared towards families with babies. Lol we made it work. Corner seatings should be reserved for families.

Most of the locations here in Europe use the kiosks, which I actually loved. I'm used to ordering from a person, but going to the kiosk made it faster and gave me time to really study the menu before deciding. Mind you, this was all before 8am haha, but I totally needed it! I did go big on my order (had to stop myself at some point) but to me it was all worth it. They have these cool deals and boxes, so I got a mix of nuggets and mozzarella sticks. Even though I ordered so much the food here doesn't make you feel heavy or bloated at all. I didn't feel stuffed, which was such a pleasant surprise for the amount of food I ate. They serve both breakfast and the regular menu so you can get whatever you're craving at any time. Spicy nuggets - not my favorite, but had to try 6.5/10 Fries - fresher and less salty than in the States, use sauce if you want more flavor Mozz sticks - mid, but not bad McKroket - completely obsessed, 1000/10 OJ and chocolate milk - solid McMuffin - good The packaging is also really clean, which adds to the experience. They also take apple pay, which made things super convenient. Big sad moment: the ice cream machine was down! I was really looking forward to trying the Biscoff McFlurry and other European exclusive flavors. Guess the ice cream machine is a international problem!! lol For the size of my order, everything came out super quickly. Customer service was great! The cashier was super friendly and even chatted a bit with me while helping, which made it feel personal. If you're visiting Amsterdam Airport, make sure you hit up McDonald's. You won't regret it.

The first time I went, it was completely empty - I was able to order at the little kiosk immediately, and my food was ready within just a few minutes. And one last time I tried to go, the line was a little medium, so I decided to stay and it took about 15 min total from start to finish which isn't too bad if you're not in a rush. After traveling in Europe for a while, I was craving a good old American classic of nuggets so that's what I ordered. Compared to the US, the menu is pretty similar with just a few changes - including the sauce options. Overall, just your standard Burger King quality. When you order, you have a few options of either staying and eating in the little food court area next to the store or leaving and bringing it to your gate. Since my gate was not the nicest I decided to eat there. The cafeteria is usually packed and you'd be lucky to find a spot. It's pretty loud, but also decently clean.
