    Spare-ribs unlimited

We decided to come here for the unlimited ribs for €11.95. This would be my first meal in Amsterdam and I was not disappointed the ribs were tender and falling off the bone soft. The barbecue sauce was tangy with the right amount of sweet. Although each refill after your initial plate will only be the ribs you can't beat the price or be disappointed at the taste. The staff was super friendly and the tv's were fixed on rally racing and skiing which was good for me because i love rally racing.

This bar! What can I say? All you can wat ribs for €9,95 after 10PM (before 10PM €11,95) Yes all you can eat and no they dont taste like "cheap all you can eat" at all. Tastefull, tender, juicy and ll you can eat. Probably the best ribs I had so far and I have had allot of ribs! Oh and there are also lots of screens streaming multiple sports, in this sports bar. I/We drove 30 minutes and coughedup the expensive "Amsterdam parking" multiple times just for these ribs. No regerts! (tip:fill up the car with family/friends and split the bill ) Nice and easy accessible location at the Leidseplein. Really affordable food(I can only vouch for the amazing ribs) and nice deals on drinks. Sourshots and Jeagerbombs recommended. At least half of the staff is friendly..and 1/10 can actually communicate in Dutch (not an issue for me but dor locals...hence the 4/5 stars)

After having dinner nearby, we decided to have dessert here and we were confused because there was a big neon sign that says "Pancake Corner" and it didn't look like a pancake house. One of the restaurant hawks told us it's Pancake Corner/ Satellite Sports. Ok, strange. What I like about this place is they have lots of flat screens with different sports on. MMA, futbol, tennis, etc. Nope, no basketball tonight since it would've been early morning in the States. We thought about getting Dutch pancakes but we were told we are not allowed to share. Well, that was a huge bummer! We thought about leaving but the server told us about proffertjes which are mini pancakes. So, we got those with different toppings. There was confusion in the kitchen so our food took forever. The cook made pancakes instead of proffertjes. The food was marginal at best. The service was not very good.

Well let me start by saying if you are going to watch any type of sport when you are traveling you can probably find it here. I however, am not an avid sports lover so I am basing this on the food. Being a bar and a place where bar snacks should shine, I ordered a few of the staples nachos and cheese fries. For those who are reading this... don't. The nachos definitely had some Dutch flare. As an American I was not prepared for green olives on my dish. Now this was neither gross or good... just weird to me. The part that really threw me on these was that they were made with nacho Doritos as a base. Like what! Too weird and felt very fake. Not a fan. The cheese fries would have been better with seasoning. The cheese was also over cooked on the plate which made it impossible to pry any fry from the dish to eat. I wouldn't waste the calories on pocket change on this either. - Forever Foodie- Ela

I've been coming to this sports bar for around 15 years as it's right on the main Leidseplein square and is always a place you can be guaranteed will have the big sports matches on. It has no frills but it does have fairly low priced drinks and food (a pint of Heini last night was 5 euros which is pretty cheap in tourist areas in Amsterdam) I really enjoyed watching the England match while my Austrian buddy (Shout out to Andreas R) watched his team and Olli E watched the tennis. In fact our conversation was a little screwed up as we were all sat at the bar together and from here all were watching different games. Not a bad place but if you're not into sports it's probably best to avoid. They have a fairly large outside area with screens still showing the matches.

I wish I could give this zero stars Terrible service Lousy food Really. Go anywhere else. Anywhere. We went because they were showing American football and my die hard Cowboys fan husband needed to see the game. Even for that reason, it wasn't worth it. DO NOT GO HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. They refuse to serve water "for hygeinic reasons" Just so bad on all fronts. The special ribs were flabby and flavorless. Definitely not barbeque. So bad RUN AWAY

    All you can eat riiiibs...awesome!

RIIIIIBS!! EVERY TIME I'm in Amsterdam I come here! I absolutely loooooove the ribs they have (€11.95 for all you can eat!!) This time Him Indoors had a huuuuge pancake with hot cherries and whipped cream-it looked AMAAAAZING!! I was verrrry jelly I had not chosen a pancake...UNTIL my ribs arrived! I received a massive plate of ribs, salad and chippies-I. Was. Stoked! When you finish the plate, the waitress comes over to ask if you want more...!! I felt like Oliver Twist in that joint...yes, I would like more, please!! :-) The actual ribs are verrrrry tenderly delicious and the meat falls off the bone...awesooooome...sooooo good! In fact my mouth is watering thinking about them...! YUM!! Him Indoors had trouble finishing his masssssiv-o pancake; he also said it was delicious...he started planning what to have next time...a good sign!! The restaurant is based at Leidseplein, so handy for allsorts of shops and bars etc... I recommend this place EVERY TIME my friends go to Amsterdam...I love it! Ugh, I want LOADS of ribs now...! :-(

eaten wings, pasta with salmon and pizza!

Coming from the United States and entering Europe during the FIFA tournament you come to ask, "Where should I watch the game?" One thing you might add is, "I wonder if there is a sports bar around here?" and my friend YES! Situated in the center of the best part of Amsterdam center is Leidseplein and this sports bar is calling you out! Ribs, beer, pasta, beer, wings, beer, sports, and even more beer! This place rocks! The food is super good and very fair prices! Portion sizes are very generous so you can literally stay throughout the whole game, just keep the Amstel going though! Staff is very friendly and you can choose to sit outside or inside, whatever you pick will still be pleasant!

When we arrived and hiked upstairs, yes it's a hike straight up steep stairs, only to see the sign "fully booked" womp womp. HOWEVER, we asked if there was a waiting list because we didn't realize reservations are basically necessary. WE GOT LUCKY as a table was available because someone didn't show for their reservations!! We ordered the special of the day, blueberry & cream, and a bacon, cheese and apple pancake. Quickly cooked up and served and boy were they both delicious! I also didn't know it was a cash only establishment or debit card. Whom I presume was the owner was so sweet and again luckily our US credit card could be processed as debit. Saved me from having to do dish duty! Definitely a must do in Amsterdam but make a reservation and carry cash! Also to note, they only have 4 tables and if you're more than 5 minutes late for your reservation they may have given away your table!

We were there the day after Kings day and it was a lovely morning. The weather was cool, but not cold and we were able to enjoy the nice breeze and canal boats passing by. I was also able to connect to the WiFi from the Casino across the river. It was weak, but still worked. We were seated outside and waited almost 10 minutes before anyone came by to take our order for food and drinks. We ordered the banana crepe to share and I got a coffee while my wife ordered the pear juice. The pair juice comes from a bottle. The coffee was served in a small cup and was ok. I am used to drinking it with cream and sweetener. But Europeans don't have these items, so I just drank it with sugar. I think we waited almost 30 minutes before our food came out. Now, we only ordered crepes with bananas inside. Usually at the mall, it takes a few minutes to make crepes. I don't know how it took almost 30 minutes for them to make 1 item. Mind you, the place was not full when we came, so I don't understand how long we had to wait for our server to order our food and why it took so long for them to make our food. Once it finally came out, I thought the crepe was good, but not out of your mind fantastic. It's just basic tbh. Will I ever come back, probably not due to the wait time and the food wasn't all that great.

I'd say about 95% of the people were ordering the apple pie, so of course we had to get one to see what the hype was about. The apple pie is pretty unique, it's basically a big chunk of cooked apple topped with a sweet, crumbly cookie like crust. The flavor reminded me of those little brown biscuits you get as airplane snacks... basically Biscoff cookies. lol!!! Overall, you really taste the natural apple flavor along with that Biscoff like cookie flavor. The pie itself isn't very sweet, which I actually liked, but adding some whipped cream definitely brings up the sweetness and makes it even better. The setup is pretty straightforward: get in line, order and pay, pick up your food, then find your own seat. It's definitely a popular spot, so be prepared for the crowd and a bit of a wait.
