I absolutely love Dutch Maid Bakery. I've come here so many times and have probably tried their entire menu by now. All the sweets are delish, my favs are the donuts, cheesecakes, tiramisu, and of course the carrot cake! I get one every year for my bday. The food is also very good, I love the panini's, soups, and breakfast sandwiches. Again, the coffee is great too and you get free refills. Everything is tasty and the workers are always so nice and helpful! Dutch Maid catered my wedding and the cupcakes were so good, we got so many compliments on every flavor we chose! I also love how every time you come in, they have a different selection of seasonal, professionally decorated cookies which is so cute for parties or surprising your kids! Amazing bakery! They have some of the best baked goods around. You walk in the smells!! Yum! Convenient hours too!

A year ago I placed an order for a gender reveal cake with two layers one with a pink or blue color frosting and one with a filling when we cut into the cake there was no color just the flavor so the whole point of the reveal was useless because the filling in fact did not match the gender!!! I even asked to confirm when I placed the order on the phone and I asked the girl when I was checking out to make sure it had both layers! When I called to let them know the girl who answered the phone said "ok" and hung up. read more

I ordered cookies for my daughters bridal shower just two days ahead of time (my bad) and their team was quick to say they could help. I expected the cookies to be plainly decorated because of the short time frame that I gave them but still hoped for the best as I shared ideas and colors. They exceeded my expectations!! Tis the season for all things pumpkin and no disappointments here with pumpkin spice coffee and a huge slice of pumpkin roll encased in pecan pieces to make you happy about the "ber" months. Soup was a creamy basil tomato and was delicious. Got 1/2 chicken salad sandwich on sour dough that hit the spot. Wait staff could kick up the friendliness up a notch or three. I love this little bakery! I always forget to order in advance...their cannoli are never available when I need them. most likely because they are so good they're in constant high demand. I am only in town around the holidays and I always wish I could bring the cannoli as a dessert to my gatherings but forget until the last minute. Childhood memories. This bakery has lived many places before resting here. So glad it's there to stay, my sisters and I chased there cookies all around the Goshen area for a while. There tea cookies, Sesamee Street face cookies, and whoopie pies are awesome! Everything is realitively cheap for a small bakery in Indiana. Staff are friendly and quick. The place is small and cozy, with a a couple tables inside. I'd say a good place to meet friends (realitively quiet) or work on things (free wifi with purchase). read more

This is a CUTE CUTE bakery. Had I known they served lunch we would have enjoyed the atmosphere. It was my birthday so I tried the pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting. My sister had the turtle brownie. Both were worth the calories. So indulge. Considering there is a real lack of good Danish Bakeries in Goshen, IN, this is as good as it gets. They have beautifully decorated cookies, and cupcakes. Although flavors and options of that nature were few. The doughnuts were of good variety and had creative flavors to indulge. I have never seen nor tried a cake from there but I would give it a try. The main disappointment with this bakery is their website! It really needs a revamp of bakery products. Makes me wonder is this a bakery or a breakfast/ lunch spot? The colors, fonts, logo are all great but there isn't a single cake, cookie, doughnut pictured, just one lonely little cupcake that is hardly decorated. Even if the variety of bakery items changes daily and you are worried about having it on the menu to order, you could still make a gallery to show potential customers the detail and hard work that goes into decorating your sweets! I think if this place were to do that, they'd have a huge jump in sales and new customers. read more

Funny, my grandparents have lived in Goshen since the 90s, my parents have lived here since the early 2000s, I've been to Linway Plaza many times and yet... I had never before been inside Dutch Maid. The second we opened the door, whoosh, that wonderful yeasty smell of donuts. It's cozy, there's plenty of seating (for the smallish space), and the woman behind the counter was very friendly. We ended up with six donuts (took them back to mom's, they were delicious) but I have to say the cakes, cookies and other pastries looked quite delightful too. Truly my heart belongs to the Electric Brew, but if I am closer to Linway and in need of a baked good or cup of cocoa, I may just be back to the Dutch Maid. read more

Your sweet tooth will thank you for coming here. I was lured in by the promise of a caramel bacon doughnuts and left with cookies and a red velvet whoopie pie. Then I came back the next day and got a pecan sticky bun and coffee. Very pleased with my selections! The lo-down: Caramel bacon doughnut - this was a great doughnut! The caramel frosting was divine and the bacon was just salty enough to give this doughnut an awesome flavor profile. Highly recommend! Cookies - I got the standard butter cookie with icing. Perfect texture and not too sweet. Also a fan of these. Red velvet whoopie pie - I know this is Amish country so I expect a whoopie pie here to be good and I was not disappointed. Just cakey enough and the filling wasn't overly sweet. Pecan sticky bun - this surprised me a little because the pastry was more like a croissant but that's not a bad thing. Just enough of the caramel topping and very generous with the pecans. I'd eat this again! Coffee creation of the day - I think it was a cherry latte? It was a little too sweet for me but I like my coffee strong so that's probably just me. I was just in town for a quick business trip but if I ever was back, I'd definitely stop in for a doughnut and coffee and bring a dozen cookies to my client. read more

Ordered cake from Georgia. Website gave us great examples for what they can do. I picked up the cake (plus a couple dozen Monster cookies). The cake looked great! Unfortunately, I didn't transport it correctly (it was a two-tier cake for my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary). The top tier fell over! I went back to the bakery and after a couple of calls, the cake decorator came in on her day off to fix the cake! I cannot recommend them more highly!!! read more

MY DAUGHTER WANTED HER CAKE WITH HER FAVOURITE CARTOON CHARACTERS AND FLOWERS ON IT, NOT A PLAIN CAKE WITH NOCARTOON CHARACTERS AND NO FLOWERS ON IT. She wanted to just shrug the problem under the carpet. More like take it or leave it attitude and tell me you can have it for free, try explaining that to a 5 year old. Growing up in Goshen I always remember on Saturdays my dad would stop at Burger Dairy and get both my sister and I one if not both of the following. One cream filled Chocolate long john and one face cookie. I never knew who baked them until about a year ago! I was overjoyed. Went this past week when on a visit and the memories all flooded back to me! The cookies are exactly as I remember...
