I did a quick internet search of the product I was looking for and Cabela's had the best price. The store is huge, but I've been told the Cabela's in Memphis is 10 times the size with the boats in a pond in the store with restaurants and a hotel on the top story. The service was outstanding. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. For the stock, variety and price, I'd make the drive. I was in so much awe that I didn't take many pictures. I'll add when I visit again.

As with other Cabela's locations, it's huge. One fun fact I didn't realize? They sell boats. I also love that Cabela's usually has a small aquarium area featuring various local fish varieties. When you're new to an area and maybe not as familiar with the local species of fish, it's nice to see them up close. The service is always friendly and accommodating and the prices are on the high end of average. If you need pretty much anything for hunting, fishing, camping, or any other outdoor life, Cabela's will have you covered and the experts to answer all your questions. Get to it!

I have been here as the "plus one" with the boyfriend picking up bait, line, and lures. There seems to be enough in stock to keep the guy intrigued. There seems to be a couple guys working the shop at any one time. Some are experienced sportsmen and sometimes a high school kid on his first job. All that to say, there is probably someone here to give you advice or talk shop if that's your thing. I like that they've got pics of guys and their catches up, involvement in community events like tourney sponsorships, and attention paid to keeping youth in the sports. Following the Facebook page, you'll see featured items from fresh bait updates to $400 equipment. I do believe they sell fishing licenses here. I haven't been here alone as a woman novice in these sports but I have asked a question or two on my own and felt comfortable.

Extremely well-maintained and clean. This time one of my guests (I won't name names) lowered one of the boat's anchors, and it came untied. It sank to the bottom of the lake and we couldn't retrieve it. We were a little worried that we'd have to pay for it, but the staff at Beachside was extremely understanding and cool about it. Will definitely rent from Beachside again!
