I've since moved out of town, and miss them dearly. First off, I drive an older vehicle - a 1994 Chevy Caprice wagon with a V8 LT1 engine. I know my car WELL, and expect my mechanics to respect that fact. Ted was always wonderful in this department - he had no problem with explaining what needed to happen with my vehicle, invited me into the garage to observe and learn about the repairs, and was a huge advocate in terms of preventive care and maintenance. He took an older wagon that had sat idle for well over a year, and tuned it up into a beast of a machine. Wonderful work, every single time. This is truly a family business, manned by Ted, his son Jason, grandson Nick and wife, Grace. On top of their professional work and character, the family always made me feel completely at home during my visits to the garage. As it was a decent distance (about 10 minutes on the highway) from my house, I'd often stay in the office while the repairs took place - it was a warm environment, always a laugh or good life story to be shared. I honestly miss those visits! For domestic vehicle repair/maintenance in the greater Cincinnati area, you can't do better than Ted Burgin. Stop at the UDF down the block beforehand for a malt while you chill out in the office - you can't do wrong for good company, and better car care.

My boyfriend and I in our broke college days came here when one of our tires popped and we needed a solution until we could get a new one. Little did we know, the used one was so nice we just kept that one on and have been coming back ever since! The tires start at $16 and seriously, when I say $16... I mean as in like sixteen dollars. You know, the same price you would pay for a sub and a drink at Penn Station, you can get a tire. Anyway- this is the REAL DEAL! I have no idea how they make money, but you save time and money coming here. Before we knew about this place I paid $800 for a new set of tires for my car at the beginning of winter. If you bought four used tires here that would only be $64. You could by 12 used sets of tires before you would get to the price I paid for one at the other place!!! That's insane!
