Karen Guyder is a fantastic sales person. I first met her when she worked for Disney DVC Rentals. She sold me my time share back in 2006. She was great and so helpful in recommending what and how many points to buy to begin with. She always kept me up to date when there were promotions and when to add on to my contract. She always answered my questions when I called and even when my questions were not part of her job, she either answered them or directed me to the proper person for an answer. I loved to visit her in her office when I was at Disney as it was in my resort. I was so sorry when she left. Purchasing a Disney Vacation Club contract was not a quick decision. I did my research for years and seriously was debating purchasing direct from Disney. However, a YouTube show, now known as DVCFan, just happen to pop-up on my YouTube recommendations. I had been subscribed to the DIS Unplugged for years and decided to give their new DVC show a try. After watching three or four episodes, I had decided to put in an offer on a resale Polynesian contract with DVC Resale Market. I chose Marissa as my agent. She's very friendly, bubbly and professional. After making an offer on a Sunday nonetheless, Marissa presented my offer to the seller and they accepted within less than 24 hours. Everything was done electronically, except for documents that needed to be notarized, and for that, shipping labels were provided. Great team everyone is super professional and keeps you as upto date as possible in the transaction process from listing your Disney Timeshare to close and beyond. Couldn't be happier. DVC Resale Market was fantastic - we wanted to sell our share in Saratoga Springs that we have owned for about 19 years. We communicated with Derek DeBoer about placing our listing - he made a couple of recommendations about pricing - WOW we would have undersold. We got the listing posted and that next day, we were informed by Toy Story Andy that someone had contacted them regarding purchasing. A few days later we accepted the contract along with the buyer and it was up to the Admin Team - Kristina, Karen and Andi to get it to Disney for Right of First Refusal - Disney passed on it. 30 days later we proceeded to getting the closing documents ready and notarized - Proof the online notarizing tool works great.
