I recently hired Dan to do a pretty tricky wallpaper project in my condo and I couldn't be more pleased with the job he did and the final result. First of all, he was so quick to answer my original inquiry and he came by for an estimate the next morning. He was always timely to each of our meetings. I truly appreciated how easy it was to schedule the work with Dan; I had a hard time even getting estimates from other companies. Dan stuck by his original quote,--which was considerably less than the other quote I got from another company-- and he even finished faster than anticipated. He worked quickly and cleanly while he was here, and he was super organized. He didn't even break for lunch! The room he papered has a lofted bed, so this project required a lot of up and down the ladder, and hunching over in uncomfortable places. Dan rose to the challenge, though! The entire length of my 14' tall walls match impeccably. And he saved me a great deal of paper, so I can only imagine the pre-planning that goes into executing this project. Long story short, the end result is beautiful! He had to level and prime the walls before applying the paper, and it all looks smooth and even. The seams are practically invisible. Dan did a great job at hanging my wall paper. I have an odd-shaped powder room and wanted it covered in Phillip Jeffries grasscloth paper. Dan came over initially to do an estimate. I contacted him shortly thereafter and we set up a time to start work. In about 4 or 5 hours, Dan finished the powder room - it looked great! We called Dan to help us install our self-adhesive removable wallpaper which had a very intricate pattern. he was able to get it done a week after we spoke on the phone in one day. he did a fantastic job- very professional. the pattern lined up perfectly! the price was higher than i expected, but i did give him the wrong wall measurement. still, the price was worth it being done right, especially since the wall paper rolls are expensive and any mistake would have probably required me to order another roll. he was able to finish the wall with some leftover paper in case we need to replace a panel in the future. thanks Dan! read more
