From the moment you enter the front office, you are greeted with a very friendly, smiling young woman (sorry, I should know you name by now)!. Wait times are very minimal which tells me the staff respects their patient's time. Now for the rest of the staff. Support people are friendly and efficient. I have been going to David, PA, in the Thousand Oaks office for months now. I was having severe itching issues. David diagnosed a rare skin condition and got me on an injected medication immediately. David followed up with monthly in-office visits to do follow-up injections while I waited on prescription approval David also checked to make sure everything was working as intended. He also assisted with getting the prescription through my insurance company, which was a nightmare. And a big thank you to Katie, RN, who also had a lot to do with getting the insurance company to cover the medication. Katie not only got the prescription approved, but assisted in getting a very nice discount, which saved me thousands of dollars. And Dr. Weitzbuch is an excellent doctor and has put together an amazing staff. I highly recommend Brilliance Dermatology.

5 Stars times 4!…read more Doctor Weitzbach has treated my wife, daughter, son and me... all with kindness, compassion, exceptional medical expertise and diligent follow-up. In the last few years, Doctor Weitzbach's annual skin cancer checks have found 2 cancers (one requiring radiation and one Mohs surgery) and numerous pre-cancers requiring freezing. The two most serious cancers were caught so early that second opinions from plastic surgeons verified Dr. Weitzbach's early detection saved us from potentially disfiguring surgery that would have been required if the tumors had been allowed to grow. His and his team's treatment of our children has been equally exceptional. Whether treating severe adolescent acne with Accutane, strategies for Psoriasis or simple acne facials, we could not have asked for more or better treatment. Did I mention that they have a pharmacy on the premises so you don't have to go running to the drugstore after your doctors visit? Convenience and competence... We could not ask for more and strongly recommend Dr. Weitzbach.

I also see her from time to time for botox/filler treatments and my review focuses on these. She uses injectables to help soften the signs of aging without going so far as to make you look unnatural. I cannot express enough how happy I am with the results of her softening of my frown lines and also the lines on top of my lips before my daughter's upcoming wedding. I look like myself again! 5+ stars

I was having a hard time finding a dermatologist who listened to me regarding a bunch of unusual marks on my body ( skin cancer runs extremely high in my family) so it was refreshing to feel and see that she actually cared. I regularly do skin checks and she's extremely knowledgeable and thorough. I came in today for my routine skin check and had some questions regarding Botox and filler. She went through each of them explaining to me in depth about everything so that made me so comfortable so much to the point where I just booked my appointment for juvederm and I'm excited. The staff here is super amazing they are always so sweet! If you're looking for an amazing dermatologist I promise you don't look any further. Elizabeth is the BEST

I called them to inquire about morpheus8…read more I received some pricing over the phone. The package i would be purchasing is nearly $3200. After hanging up the phone I had a few more questions. I call them back and nobody picked up, but there was an option to text with them. So I sent three follow up questions. None of the questions had anything to do with me or my anatomy. So you tell me why I have to spend a $100 for a "consultation" to find out if numbing is included in the price, if they use the actual body handpiece and not the smaller face one, and how deep they go. So if the first thing they tell me, during this consult, is that no, they do not use the actual body handpiece and I dont want their services then poof! There goes my $100. Why on earth would I spend $100 for them to answer basic questions they *should* answer for any prospective client. I just moved to the area and im so disappointed. Way to lose a really good potential client. As a business owner myself I am truly shocked at the ridiculousness of all of this. Id rather pay more elsewhere than go here and be treated poorly.

I've been a patient at this dermatology office on and off for several years. I stayed silent…read morebecause I genuinely hoped things would improve. Unfortunately, they never did. This has been one of the most frustrating experiences I've had with a medical practice. I developed severe scalp issues and saw Mojan, the PA, who diagnosed me and prescribed medication. When the medication wasn't working, I requested a follow-up to make sure the diagnosis was correct before continuing treatment. Instead of being reassessed, I was told that Mojan did not want to see me again. I was shocked and felt completely dismissed. I had been nothing but respectful to her and we always exchanged laughs and jokes. Dr. P performed a biopsy. When I returned with questions about the healing process, I felt she was dismissive, impatient, and unwilling to address my concerns. She even failed to review my blood work with me and her nurse told me to Google it! More recently, I had to return after a surgical procedure because I wasn't healing as expected and had concerns about my recovery. My understanding was that, under my insurance, this type of medically necessary post-procedure follow-up should not have resulted in an additional charge. When I calmly raised this billing concern with Pam and tried to explain why I believed the charge should be reviewed, she abruptly hung up on me instead of discussing the issue or trying to help. I found that incredibly unprofessional. Communication throughout the office has been consistently poor. In the past, I was repeatedly told someone would call me back regarding prescriptions or medical questions, but I often never received a callback. When I followed up because my calls had not been returned, I was made to feel like I was bothering the staff simply for asking about my care. Instead of addressing my concerns, I often felt that the situation was turned around on me, leaving me feeling blamed rather than helped. The front office and billing staff were some of the most unprofessional people I've dealt with. Pam, Linda, and Donna were consistently rude, abrupt, and dismissive. Donna was equally rude when I tried to get clarification, and Linda and Pam's interactions were consistently unpleasant. Patients should be able to ask questions about their care and billing without being treated like they're an inconvenience or being called "atypical". The recurring pattern throughout my years as a patient has been poor communication, lack of follow-up, dismissive attitudes, and a lack of professionalism and compassion. I rarely felt respected or valued as a patient. Patients deserve respectful communication, compassionate care, and the opportunity to ask questions without feeling dismissed or blamed for raising legitimate concerns. Sadly, that was not my experience at this practice. UPDATE: Since posting this review, an individual named Tony A. has commented claiming that he was present in the waiting room on the day of my visit and witnessed my interactions with the staff. That statement is completely false. I do not know this individual, and he was not present during my interactions with the office. If he genuinely claims to have witnessed these events, he should be prepared to substantiate that claim with actual evidence and, if necessary, under oath in a legal proceeding. I was respectful and polite to the staff throughout my interactions with this practice. I strongly disagree with his characterization of me as "rude," "demanding," "insulting," and "crude." Those statements do not reflect my experience or how I conducted myself. More concerning, rather than addressing the substance of my review, this individual resorted to personally attacking me by referring to people like me as "crazies" who are "not mentally competent." That is completely inappropriate and has nothing to do with whether my review accurately describes my experience. I stand by my review and my firsthand account of what occurred. I am not going to allow an anonymous/unknown commenter to rewrite my experience or make derogatory claims about my mental competence simply because they disagree with my review. I also encourage prospective patients to read the other reviews independently and form their own conclusions about whether my concerns are consistent with experiences reported by other patients. I am sharing my experience so that people can make an informed decision for themselves.
