Dr. Salit is professional and has an artistic touch. In addition, he cares about each patient. He is the best in our area.

Unprofessional management and rude staff! Horrible experience, I would STAY AWAY!!!…read more Quick Summary: The office staff is incredibly rude and seems completely untrained in basic customer service. When I tried to speak to a manager about the attitude at the front desk, I was met with hostility instead of help. It is a toxic environment. They also botched my excision. Save yourself the stress and find a dermatology office that actually respects their patients. Also possible excessive fraudulent billing! Full Experience: I regret ever coming here!!! My initial experience should have been a red flag! I was met by a condescending and hostile receptionist when I was initially questioning billing and procedures at the front desk. I was so dissatisfied with the service that I decided to leave. Management ended up giving me a call and apologizing about the experience and was able to accommodate me with Dr. Singh the next day if I wanted to continue. I unfortunately obliged and was met with a botched excision in the aftermath. During this entire process I asked multiple times that my insurance covers the procedure and they stated yes this is an in office visit and it's covered minus copay. Dr. Singh has been kind and probably the only professional there but I have lost confidence since my second surgery which was to revise the initial botched scar excision. My scar has become much bigger and pronounced now! Also have bald spot due to this! I'm really upset!!!! To make matters worse, they are now billing me an excess amount whereas this should be covered by insurance as they also validated. At this point I don't know if they are over-billing and just stiffing the clients!! Seems they even billed me for a 2 minute phone call question with the doctor. During this fiasco I asked to speak with billing manager Debbie whom was extremely rude and unprofessional. Each time I tried explaining the situation, she would constantly talk over me not allowing to get my message across, I told her I would not deal with ever again and to have her direct superior contact me! As of 1 week ago, no one has called yet they keep spamming my phone regarding the fraudulent outstanding balance. I would not send anyone I care about here!!! Save yourself the stress, pain and heartache from the botched procedures and unprofessionalism!

I frequently need full-body skin checks, and in the past, I would have preferred seeing a female doctor. However, Dr. Bastien completely changed that perspective for me. He is professional, compassionate, and exceptionally skilled at what he does. I always feel comfortable in his care and confident that I am receiving the best possible treatment. He is truly brilliant and does a wonderful job. Highly recommend!

Had such a wonderful time a couple years ago with the Mohs surgery I decided I had to come back for…read moremore! So bizarre - same type of growth, but on the opposite side of my mustache line. I knew exactly what it was, so I scheduled today for the official biopsy. Juana was incredible. For me, the worst part is the lidocaine injection in my upper lip. I made this clear in no uncertain terms. Juana was patient, understanding, empathetic. I arrived 30 minutes ahead of my appointment time and she applied a topical anesthesia to lessen the initial lidocaine effect (which only lasts a few seconds, but seems like an eternity to someone with zero pain tolerance). Gave me a squeeze ball, calmly had me relax, breathe slowly and steadily, close my eyes, and it was done!

I've been a patient at this dermatology office on and off for several years. I stayed silent…read morebecause I genuinely hoped things would improve. Unfortunately, they never did. This has been one of the most frustrating experiences I've had with a medical practice. I developed severe scalp issues and saw Mojan, the PA, who diagnosed me and prescribed medication. When the medication wasn't working, I requested a follow-up to make sure the diagnosis was correct before continuing treatment. Instead of being reassessed, I was told that Mojan did not want to see me again. I was shocked and felt completely dismissed. I had been nothing but respectful to her and we always exchanged laughs and jokes. Dr. P performed a biopsy. When I returned with questions about the healing process, I felt she was dismissive, impatient, and unwilling to address my concerns. She even failed to review my blood work with me and her nurse told me to Google it! More recently, I had to return after a surgical procedure because I wasn't healing as expected and had concerns about my recovery. My understanding was that, under my insurance, this type of medically necessary post-procedure follow-up should not have resulted in an additional charge. When I calmly raised this billing concern with Pam and tried to explain why I believed the charge should be reviewed, she abruptly hung up on me instead of discussing the issue or trying to help. I found that incredibly unprofessional. Communication throughout the office has been consistently poor. In the past, I was repeatedly told someone would call me back regarding prescriptions or medical questions, but I often never received a callback. When I followed up because my calls had not been returned, I was made to feel like I was bothering the staff simply for asking about my care. Instead of addressing my concerns, I often felt that the situation was turned around on me, leaving me feeling blamed rather than helped. The front office and billing staff were some of the most unprofessional people I've dealt with. Pam, Linda, and Donna were consistently rude, abrupt, and dismissive. Donna was equally rude when I tried to get clarification, and Linda and Pam's interactions were consistently unpleasant. Patients should be able to ask questions about their care and billing without being treated like they're an inconvenience or being called "atypical". The recurring pattern throughout my years as a patient has been poor communication, lack of follow-up, dismissive attitudes, and a lack of professionalism and compassion. I rarely felt respected or valued as a patient. Patients deserve respectful communication, compassionate care, and the opportunity to ask questions without feeling dismissed or blamed for raising legitimate concerns. Sadly, that was not my experience at this practice. UPDATE: Since posting this review, an individual named Tony A. has commented claiming that he was present in the waiting room on the day of my visit and witnessed my interactions with the staff. That statement is completely false. I do not know this individual, and he was not present during my interactions with the office. If he genuinely claims to have witnessed these events, he should be prepared to substantiate that claim with actual evidence and, if necessary, under oath in a legal proceeding. I was respectful and polite to the staff throughout my interactions with this practice. I strongly disagree with his characterization of me as "rude," "demanding," "insulting," and "crude." Those statements do not reflect my experience or how I conducted myself. More concerning, rather than addressing the substance of my review, this individual resorted to personally attacking me by referring to people like me as "crazies" who are "not mentally competent." That is completely inappropriate and has nothing to do with whether my review accurately describes my experience. I stand by my review and my firsthand account of what occurred. I am not going to allow an anonymous/unknown commenter to rewrite my experience or make derogatory claims about my mental competence simply because they disagree with my review. I also encourage prospective patients to read the other reviews independently and form their own conclusions about whether my concerns are consistent with experiences reported by other patients. I am sharing my experience so that people can make an informed decision for themselves.
