We dined here on a Thursday evening and even though the restaurant was busy we recieved prompt, friendly and competent service. We shared an entree of Tuki Lamb Sausages with mash potatoe and jus (from the specials board). Once we had our first bite of the delectable sausage with the rich and and purely divine sauce we wished we had ordered one each. Our mains were a porterhouse with borderlaise sauce and eye fillet with bernaise sauce. The steaks were cooked perfect to order and again both sauces were devine. The only negative would be the potatoe that the steak is served with, it was quite hard and not up to the standard of the restaurant, loving my potatoes this was a slight dissapointment. To finish the meal off we shared a apple and rhubarb crumble (also from the specials board), which hit the highs and finished off the meal perfectly. We will definitely be returning and recommending Dyers to our friends and family. read more
