I would stay away and go to a more reputable place. Ronnie was not truthful with me, didn't call me back when I asked the office assistant multiple times, didn't install the ceramic coating on the exterior of the windows with a specific bottle that wasn't even opened from the kit (he said he would include this), rushed my car through, wouldn't let my coating cure at his shop even though it was recommend to let it cure indoors overnight away from the elements. Overall, it was a terrible experience. As far as the tint goes, I feel that I didn't receive the highest level infrared rejection that I paid for. Whenever my car is out in the sun it is still an oven even after getting every single window treated including the windshield. Now I feel that I need to pay someone else to redo this job. read more

After reading all the positive reviews, I was excited and looking forward to getting my new vehicle protected with the Full Front End Film Protection. Upon calling the Fountain Valley location after seeing a special for $995 for a Full Front End Protection Film, I was told that special was not available, however, another special at $1395 was available. Upon learning the pluses on this plan, I booked my reservation for Monday at 9am. On Friday, the weekend before my appointment, I received an email saying the special at $995 was available and to call to make an appointment. Well I had an appointment and called the facility. Again, confirmed my appointment for the Fountain Valley location. On Monday, November 20, I arrived at 9am and waited for 15 minutes and no employee showed up. The business was closed. So I guess after all the back and forth and confirming my appointment, I got blown off. Very disappointed as the reviews made this establishment sound legit. If appointments cannot be guaranteed and you get the run around about packages, why would I let them touch your car. Just some thoughts. read more

Great place!! I was looking for a place to get my s/o's windows tinted since she recently bought a new car. I inquired to a few places in the Irvine/Tustin area and, having done research about what tint I wanted, I narrowed it down to Dynamic Auto Customs and asked for a quote. The owner, Ronnie, was super helpful and accommodating. He was able to put me in for a time which worked for me. When I arrived to the place, we were welcomed by a nice receptionist who helped us choose which tint would work best for her car. We opted for 35% for the front windows and 15% at the back, both being llumar ctx. We also included a $40 charge that allowed for a cleaner finish with the tint. In total, I paid $400 not including tax. Once we signed the agreement, the receptionist told us that it would take approximately 4 hours for the tint to be finished. After we had dropped the car off at the shop, we were surprised when the receptionist called us back 2 and a half hours later saying that the car was ready for pickup. Keep in mind that we left the shop at around 2pm and it varies when you set up your appointment on what day. We did our tint on a Friday and it seemed like they had other projects going on at the same time. When we came back, the car looked great. We were impressed with the service and the tint that we thought came at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this place to others! read more

They had a fridge for water and let us use their tv while we wait. In the waiting room, you can also look at the security cameras in the office and look at how they work on your cars. Jesse was nice enough to let me drop off car on a Sunday when they are closed. Tesla dropped off car to my home Sunday morning and as soon as we got car , drove and dropped off car. Receive car back today and they did a very nice job, went with their recommendation 15 on front side and 40 rear side and top and rear. Ppf front and also did the 4 side door, didn't do the back bumper, trunk lid and quarter panels. Didn't feel like those are needed. This review is a little long overdue. I'm only giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 because the girl over the phone was really nice. I had just gotten a new car and was looking to chrome delete it. I inquired a few places but this place gave me the best quote over the phone. I sent in photos of what needed to be dechromed, which was pretty much everything that was chromed, and the girl quoted me around $700 something. She said the owner even said that if i wanted to powder coat my wheels, they could give me a discount on it as well with the chrome delete. I couldn't take my car in the day of the appt so my fiancé did and it was a different girl that helped him this time. She said that there was a mistake and that it was actually $1200 something to do the chrome delete. And that there was no such thing as a discount on the powder coating wheels & that her boss never said that. FYI, the only reason why i even still went through with the price changes was because i was leaving out of town the next day for a few days. And didn't need my car. It would have been hard for me to get it chrome deleted during a time when i was going into work. My fiancé had asked her multiple times "ok so it's $1200 for the entire chrome delete right? Like everything chrome will be blacked out." And she said yes. It was our mistake for not getting it in writing because when i got my car back, there was an entire strip at the bottom of my car that was still silver. When we asked about it, she said the pricing didn't include that even though initially she said the pricing covered for the entire chrome. And that if we wanted to chrome it, it would be another couple hundred of bucks. AND not only did that happen, but when i checked out the job, there were so many mistakes made. My entire emblem was completely butchered. I had to drop off my car again for them to fix it along with the other mistakes. Also, my grill was already black. My emblem was chrome. They told me that in order to dechrome my emblem, i had to do my entire grill too. So that was a hefty ticket for just my emblem since i got charged for the entire grill that was already black. Tbh, it looked like they rushed my chrome deleting job. There was so many that was lifting, other areas looked butchered & didn't look smooth. I was hesitant on writing this review because the first girl over the phone was super nice & i didn't want her to get in trouble. I still don't think she should get in trouble because there was miscommunication on the back end and i believe she was new. But the second girl kinda had an attitude of "well the other girl messed up, so this is the pricing. Take it or leave it" type vibe and didn't even try to work with us for the miscommunication. I'm finally writing this review because my fiancé took his brand new car to get window tinting, chrome delete, and ceramic coating from Dependable Guys. And seeing how amazing their customer service was & how transparent they were with their pricing ... it honestly made me upset all over again with my experience here. If you're going to get your services done here, make sure to get stuff in writing before the service starts. UPDATE: thank you for responding back! Unfortunately there were 3 occasions where pricing was an issue. 1st, it was over the phone, 2nd was when my fiancé dropped off the car & the other rep said $1200, he asked multiple times if it was $1200 for ALL of the chrome on the car and she said yes. Then 3rd was when we picked it up and noticed a chrome piece at the bottom of my car and she said the pricing didn't cover that & that i would have to pay additional to get that dechromed. Had a BMW M5 get tinted with IRX which looks fantastic. Great work there. Also had a Tesla Model X which got PPF and IRX tints. Had to take it back once to correct some minor stuff but they help you out a lot and make sure the dob is well done. Overall great experience. I waited for awhile to make sure everything came out perfect and guess what? It was PERFECTO! I got my car on 12/28 and Mayra was able to get me in like the next day. She told me that I would need my car there for a week and gave me a loaner. A few things I considered Rodz; Customer Service - It was EXCELLENT! Mayra told me she wasn't sure if she would have a loaner for me and told me she would called me back, she called me back within 3 minutes. Quality - I didn't care about the price as I know I'm paying for quality and not cheap films ( the ones I got was LLUMAR films which is the best for the summer heat in SoCal ) . I made sure they were able to do one piece tint for the back as some shop has no experience with it and it can ruin the cameras on your car. Communication - Mayra was excellent in keeping me posted and when I'll have my car back and what they were doing . I did 20% all around and 80% for the windshield, although I think I would have been happier with a 70% windshield. 80% was still somewhat clear. The services I did was - Front PPF, Tints all around ( including windshield) and Ceramic Coating. Look no further if you love your car, let Rodz help you !
