I had them do the tint on my window before and I remember that they were very detailed and thorough with all my questions. This was in 2022. I came back because my window was replaced due to a fracture caused by age and the changing weather conditions. They still maintained the excellent customer service and engaging interaction. Their waiting room is nicely air conditioned and is also very cozy. After i grabbed lunch across the street, i went back in and wanted to wait until the job was done. I didnt realize i had dozed off and woke up to a phone call that it was finished. Their restrooms are very well maintained and their fridge is fully stocked. Got my windows tinted over 6 years ago - limo for rear / 15% for fronts - and loved it. High quality work, reasonably priced, and overall pleasant shop experience. Tint job held up beautifully to this day. Mike's goes the extra mile though - I had to come back last week as the lucky winner of a CHP fix-it ticket. This shop offered a lifetime warranty for tickets which came in so clutch - keep your receipt or remember your initial install date! Went to get a tint on my Cadillac Lyriq at Mikes Tint Shop in Orange. Serra and Lex are awesome!! Serra examined my vehicle then provided me sound guidance on the tint that would look sick on my Lyriq. No pressure selling but sound knowledge on tint and heat/uv protection. I came Mike's Tint Shop to get the windows tinted on my new truck and the customer service was top notch right from the start! I called and spoke with Serra to schedule an appointment and she was incredible, explaining all the different tint options, warranties and pricing. She even explained the differences between the different tints and said when I arrive, she would show me the differences in person. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Lex and she was awesome! She was extremely friendly and provided excellent customer service, by offering me bottled water, coffee and even a latte. As Serra stated during our phone conversation, she showed me all the different tint options and explained in detail what each option had to offer. She even went above and beyond and showed me a couple vehicles that had already been completed with new tint. This definitely helped me confidently choose the right tint for my truck. The waiting area isn't your normal waiting area at most tint shops or auto shops. This place is massive, with a modern design, open ceiling, polished concrete, lots of televisions, good music, air conditioning and plenty of leather couches and seating to wait in comfort. The attention to detail of the waiting area and business model that Mike's Tint Shop has, shows in the quality of work to whatever they are doing to your vehicle. I had my first car tinted here at Mike's about 12 years ago. Still in perfect condition today. Once and done. A few months ago, I finally convinced my husband to tint his new car. We had to take it back to Mike's for bubble correction a few times. Some of the bubbles didn't appear at first then pop up later. Some bubbles never went away like they said they would. I was a bit disappointed. Perhaps they have new technicians who are inexperienced? Or wasn't as thorough... I'm thankful for their lifetime warranty. But regardless, it was still annoying to take his car back a few times. read more

This was my second time getting my windows tinted here. I recently had to replace my windshield (insurance covered it), and when I came back to have it tinted, I noticed a few blemishes afterward. I waited about a month to see if they were just air bubbles that would go away, but they didn't. I went back to the shop to ask if they could take a look, and they were more than happy to help. I'm disappointed with how an issue was handled here especially because I've had four cars tinted here previously without major problems, which is why I trusted them with my brand-new vehicle. I purchased my car and brought it here the very next day. It had been in my possession less than 24 hours and had under 30 miles on the odometer when I dropped it off in the afternoon. It wasn't finished until around 5:30-6:00 PM, when it was already dark, so I couldn't see any imperfections right away. In daylight, I noticed multiple issues -Four scratches on the small rear quarter window (a few straight lines and one curved) -A long, noticeable scratch on the rear window, directly next to the same quarter panel -Both window moldings next to the quarter panels were heavily scuffed, which were not present before and appeared consistent with tint tools contacting the trim -Specks of dust/debris under the tint on every single window. I called as soon as I noticed. Before anyone even saw the car, the first person I spoke to said scratches are "usually already there" and that tint just makes them more visible, and I was told the next available appointment would be the following week. I was then transferred to Sarah (manager), who repeated the same explanation despite me explaining that the car was brand new and could not possibly have pre-existing scratches and that it was very clear it was from the tint install. She then scheduled me to come in the next day. When I brought the car back, Richard, who helped me on install day, came outside, saw the issues, and said he would "take care of it." When I went inside and tried to explain the situation to Sarah, she was dismissive without having seen the car yet, and said she would take a look later. I then left. After I left, Richard called me 5 hours later and said he had checked the cameras and also called Mike (the owner, who was on vacation). I was told that based on the cameras, the scratches were considered pre-existing, that the installer "only used a sponge," and that the scratches were in the glass (not the film). I was also told that Sarah "did not see a problem" with the heavily scuffed moldings on both sides of the car. What was most concerning is that this conclusion was reached despite the car being less than a day old and the damage being limited specifically to the areas worked on during the tint install. When I went to pick up the car, I was shown the sponge that supposedly "couldn't scratch the glass," but it was very rough and abrasive, which made their explanation more difficult to believe. They did remove and redo the tint only because of the dust/specks, but the main concern... scratched glass and damaged trim on a brand-new car, was immediately dismissed. The re-install introduced another issue: the sun visor tint was done incorrectly, not the original way it had been done. I was told that only one installer could do it properly and that I would need to come back again. I ultimately had to bring my car back a third time just to correct this. I'm posting this so others, especially those bringing in brand-new vehicles.. inspect their cars carefully and take photos before and after service. I was hoping for a solution oriented response, but the experience felt more like dismissal and blame shifting than accountability. Very disappointing after being a long time customer. I won't be bringing any more of my cars here. read more

I've been there for three different cars and every time the product, service and results were excellent. I chose the graphite product with a 30% tint, which provides a great amount of privacy without dramatically reducing visibility. It's interesting that the tint looks darker from the outside than inside, and wow they cut down the incoming solar heat dramatically. I think this is just dark enough to do it's job but not too dark to get the attention of local officials :) I was also impressed at how fast they got the two front windows done, way faster than I expected. read more
