I found Mobile Detailers right here at Yelp and was immediately impressed with how the owners reach out to folks right here, replying to their posts - that's rare. I was also glad to see all the 5-star reviews, so I took the plunge. Avol came to my house in Lighthouse Pt yesterday and spent FOUR HOURS cleaning my 2018 Porsche Macan to beyond perfection. First off, he spent several minutes sharing his philosophy on auto detailing, what he does, what to expect, and through that education, made me comfortable with the process. Then he got to work. In the burning sun he washed, sprayed, rubbed down, polished and cleaned every surface area INSIDE and OUT. From trunk (yes, even under the spare tire area!) all the way up to the the headlights, that car was treated with tender, loving care. The disk brakes were screaming red like a fire hydrant, the interior leather supple, soft and spotless, the exterior blue paint sparkling like a Christmas ornament. I literally stood outside and gaped at the result. Avol assured me that if I had any issues to just call. Well, I couldn't think of a ONE, and the best was yet to come. My dear husband returned at dawn from a long trip to Antarctica, and he was exhausted. I wanted the car detailing to be a special Valentine's Day present, so I didn't even tell him I'd done this. He went out to the garage to get something and moments later came in to say: "All I can say is WOW!!! I have never seen that car so clean!" LOL! That was having seen it under the dim, interior garage light. That car is so clean I feel like I should wear bedroom slippers driving it. Main thing is, I'm SO glad I found Mobile Detailers in my area, and will definitely be a regular customer going forward. My Infiniti dealer had told me Tuesday that I needed a MAJOR engine repair/replacement that they were not going to cover under warranty and wanted to charge me $8,485 to do the work. My friend took me over to see Cosimo at Motorvation. He checked out my car and said that my dealership shop telling me my engine was wrecked was complete BS. I needed some repairs but it was $800 rather than $8400. Big difference. And 2 days later I'm back on the road. Car runs great. I'm happy. Tuesday's news sucked. Lol. I'm not a mechanic and my car was clearly in need of repair so he could have told me anything and charged me anything. My dealership was saying over 8 grand and he had seen their estimate so if he told me $4000 it would have made sense to me and sounded like a bargain. I'm still kind of surprised my dealership tried to do that to me. They are either crooks or completely incompetent or just don't care. I've bought 5 cars from them so I'm a bit pissed about it. End of the work day the crew was trying to load a ditch witch and it fell off the trailer on to my car.
