It looks like a scam. Avoid this place. I tried to cancel my membership in person, but instead of helping me, they gave me a phone number to call. I have called multiple times to cancel, yet they continue charging my account. I also sent a written letter clearly explaining that I wanted to cancel because Dynamic Fitness no longer provides a swimming pool at its facility. The pool was the primary reason I joined and used the gym, and without it, the membership no longer meets my fitness needs. Despite my calls and written explanation, they ignored my request, continued charging my account, and even sent the charges to collections. This type of behavior feels deceptive and unprofessional, and in my experience, it operates very much like a scam. I strongly recommend that others be cautious before signing up. read more

I come here, not as often as I'd like, but every time I come there are no issues. There is a good number and variety of equipment. All the times I go, equipment and restrooms are clean. Patrons there are respectful. Staff are friendly. I took my younger 8 year old son for their childcare multiple times before and he never had issues, he forgot his phone once and staff called right away when I was leaving the parking area to inform me. My older mid teenage son started there working with trainer Dominic who is kind and cool. My son felt comfortable with him as a trainer and felt he helped him as he was training to condition his body for track. After my son fractured his clavicle, Dominic even contacted me to check up on him several times which I appreciate immensely. With all that said, Dynamic Fitness is definitely worth checking out and at least a trial run. The price, particularly as a working parent, is a wonderful deal to me. Honestly the gym is what you make it. Ever just lose control and look in the mirror and not recognize what you are staring at let alone who that is in the reflection. Well all it takes is a small commitment and a little bit of motivation. This year was the year I took back my health and this is the place that helped me accomplish it. Without any trainers, without any pressure, just me and the cardio 2nd floor. They have lots of different machines and if something is not working right you can always ask them to put a sign on it and get it repaired. I don't have a particular workout that I follow. I was doing a lot of running outdoors but those marathon miles took a toll so I decided to use the elliptical. I love it and there are several. I feel like it gives me a boost of energy after I get off of it. I like the fact that they have a lap pool, classes, and a place you can put your kids if you don't have a sitter. I doubt that I'm going to get more than my standard workout here but again...this place is what you make it. It's never been overcrowded and they are conveniently located within a ten minute drive from the sugar land area. They also have a sauna and some infrared therapy bed, and a tanning bed as well. I'm just not in the best shape but slow and steady progress is always my goal. You don't need a New Year's resolution just get a gym membership and actually use it. Meet up a friend or Just come to burn off steam. Im extremely happy with this place and by the way they are closed on Christmas. read more

I have complained many time about the music volume and no one seems to care about it. It is too loud and I can't hear my own earbud.

Was a nice place till recently. Previously the downstairs was weight equipmemt and the upstairs was aerobic equipment. Last week they crammed all the aerobic equipmemt closer together much of it right in front of the locker rooms and added even more weight equipmemt upstairs. Boo. Additionally in recent weeks the music has been blaring beyond a reasonable level. Time to move to another gym. read more

If I could give this gym zero stars I would. I got a membership for my son so that he was able to workout here. We sent a cancelation notice via email back in February. STILL NOT CANCELLED. It took over 40 minutes and an escalation for it to STILL NOT be cancelled. it takes five seconds to sign up and it is completely difficult to cancel. This is fraud, and I've noted to them if I am charged another cent it is stealing and I'll be suing them for theft and fraud. read more

Solid gym and has all the necessary equipment needed to work out. The community at the gym is relatively pleasant though I've never used a personal trainer here; most seem personable. I wish they kept the towels for the guest after and during a workout. Besides that, it's a solid gym and better than fitness connection IMO. read more

I love this gym! From the moment I used my guest pass I knew this gym was worth signing up. Not only do they offer low monthly rates, they offer plenty of amenities for all kinds of guests, equipment in great condition, plenty of squat racks/deadlift platforms, and much more that I will not include in this brief review. I will say this, the addition of not one but TWO hip thrust machines made me so happy!! I no longer dread the set up and worry about enough padding. Only minor flaw is that the floor level bathroom is hidden in the pool area where not many guests can see. I will update this review once I complete my 1 year contract read more

A year and a half ago, I would have recommended them, but now DO NOT DO IT! All they do is screw you. I have been fighting with them for months about them charging me. I have fought with them over and over again and I have still not received an email back or an answer to why they keep charging me. I kept my membership while they were closed due to the pandemic because I support local and small businesses but I haven't used it in months because I am immunocompromised and it's not worth my health or my job. I have tried to freeze my account until the heat of the pandemic is over and no response. They have all these bullshit hidden fees and it's like pulling teeth dealing with them ABSOLUTELY DO NOT SIGN UP FOR PERSONAL TRAINING IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE CHARGED OUT THE ASS EVEN WHEN YOU TRY TO CANCEL IT OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!!!! I have been fighting with for a year trying to cancel my personal training. I broke my ankle two weeks after signing up and wanted to cancel because I was in a boot and they wouldn't let me even though I had medical documentation and a boot on my foot that I couldn't put weight on it. I also spoke with one of the training managers the very next day after signing up to try and cancel or change my agreement because I could not afford it. She agreed to it and yet I'm still being charged way over what the agreed contract was. I have emailed them over and over again with no response. I just checked my bank account and they have charged me again for this bullshit!! DO NOT DO IT! This gym is always clean. It's a nice place to workout. The staff is friendly and helpful.

This gym is perfect for me. I'm a value conscious consumer and this place delivers. Not sprawling or expensive like the Y or Lifetime. Medium sized with the stuff I need and use. And the location is ideal-right off hwy 90 and Dairy Ashford. Easy to get to and leave. I've had broken window and thefts at some of the 24 Hour Fitness locations. But I never see any of that here since there's good lighting at night and you can watch your vehicle from the workout area. That is important to me. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Good personal trainers. The equipment is clean and maintained. They have a dedicated cleaning employee who is always vacuuming or wiping down the equipment. Soap dispensaries and wipes are spread out the workout area. The negatives? Not many considering the price. When a piece of equipment falls into disrepair, it takes awhile to get it fixed. I don't know if that's due to the pandemic or not. But there's usually an equivalent piece of equipment that you can substitute. read more

Don't judge a book by its cover. This gym, at first glance, looks outdated. Once you go inside, it's anything but. They have cardio upstairs and everything else downstairs, such as, weights, pool, a mirror room for classes, and a multipurpose red turf covered room. The gym itself is not bad. Great equipment and always very clean, however, I can't say the same about some of the staff, specifically the personal trainers. It's common employee courtesy to leave the front parking spaces for the actual paying customers. But I think management does not enforce this because they made it a habit to take up all the front parking spaces by the gym staff. But my main issue is the selfishness of the personal trainers, taking up to three sometimes for machines at the same time for there sessions. They claim them with cones, water, bottles, and cell phones, and are oblivious to other team members needs. Good thing planet fitness just opened up across the street. Hidden fees. I was told that I would only be charged and initiation fee & my monthly membership fee but then get charged the initiation fee twice. When I spoke with the GM, he acted like he had no idea what I was talking about and tried to show me that they didn't charge me twice. Then when I showed my bank statement, they already had some contract pulled up to show me where that fee was hidden, which was never disclosed to me before then. "It is a fee that is charged to everyone once a year." Yeah right. I bet that "fee" is intentionally the same amount as the initiation fee to be easily over looked and not asked about. Lastly, all the machines are broken and doesn't seem to be addressed since I've joined. Avoid this place. read more

I walked in to take a look and actually entertained their sales pitch. The gym is moderately decent. They have everything you'd expect from a barebones gym (e.g., weights, treadmills, ellipticals, etc.). The establishment was well-kept. I wouldn't discourage coming here for their equipment. They have what you need. My biggest gripe is how they manage their business. If you recall, earlier, I stated that I entertained them, which entailed me giving them my "spam-welcoming" email address. I did not sign up for a membership. Two weeks pass, I check my email and they send me an email with someone else's name and personal information, welcoming me and thanking me for my new membership. Someone else's personal information was sitting in my inbox. I quickly emailed and called them to inform them about the error. They never fixed it. For 6 months I received someone's information. Clean, easy access, and even during peak hours it's not too crowded. I like it & the staff is friendly. Only issue is the cleaning lady...not sure what her schedule is, but I only see her during busy hours. I have to cover my face when she comes near me because she slaps the towel everywhere causing dander to fly everywhere- including in my face. I was familiar with their Pearland location, so when the opportunity came to join and lock in a low rate before their Grand Opening ( which is November 3rd. I think ) I joined. I's advise to get in before then. Location is right on the corner of Dairy Ashford & 90 behind Vaso's Bar-B-Q. Plenty of open parking. When you walk in club staff is on your right to welcome you in. Everything is BRAND NEW & very clean here! Weights & resistance equipment, warm up (a bit of cardio) Kids Zone, group class room and 1st entrance to pool is all downs stairs. Access to the locker rooms is by stair case only. No elevators.....yet? What I love, the soap & towel service similar to Lifetime. Bring your own lock or ask for VIP lockers they range from 9.99 to 12.99 a month if your that fancy. The Sauna is in your locker room. Cycling, training, Tanning (that's extra) & Cardio is all located upstairs, there is a back stair case to enter the pool and hot tub as well. They offer you a free over all assesment with a trainer to see where you currently stand when you sign up. I asked about the type of trainings, they have One on One, boot camps (for children too called "Kid Fit"). Classes included are Kick-Boxing, yoga, body pump, Zumba, Pilates, Water Aerobics :D Racket Ball & Spinning, I'll let you know how they go. For Power Grub there are oh yeah bars & power crunch. Muscle milk and drinks are plenty. Supplement brands in the case are BSN, Optimum, and EAS. I hope I covered enough for you to come check it out. This gym is open 24 hours Mon-Thurs. Close on Friday @ 10pm & reopens at 7am on Saturday. Saturday & Sunday is 7am - 7pm. So no late night weekend workouts. I'm excited to join and this is the Best alternative to Lifetime or 24 for a tight budget. Oh yeah, there's FREE wi-fi too! read more

Please do not waste your money. More than half of the cardio machines are out of order. People at the front are always on the phone and they stopped doing towels before covid. I cancelled my membership during covid and now I received a letter saying I owe money to collections even though I cancelled. I also called the office once they reopened and was told "you are good and no need to worry about a call I received about bill" and now I am stuck with a bill that was supposed to be cancelled. Signed up 2 months ago. Only went once for their mandatory initial evaluation, which turned out to be really only to get you in the door to try to sign you up for their personal trainers. After 2 months and not using the gym, I decided to cancel. Then I found out the app won't let you do it. After calling my gym and trying to get to the billing dept, the automated machine routed me to their third party billing company. After waiting 20 mins to speak to a person and explaining why I want to cancel, get to the end of the conversation, turns out they aren't allowed to cancel it unless you write them a letter in the mail or email. They can't even take your credit card off your record. Then I find out it's one month of bill (which is fine) plus still have to pay additional yearly $54 just to cancel their membership. Basically over $90 to cancel. When you ask them to do anything, they just tell you they are a third party company and can't do anything. Beware when you signup and go to cancel with them. read more

It's been almost a year I've been paying with no use and numerous times tried to cancel and I'm just replied from what seems to be a computer. Management is the worst. Lazy employees. You always seen people just standing around while you wait to be checked in and check out (for items you are trying to buy). Why pay $50 for a membership to get a clean towel and never have clean towels. I got the $50 membership to bring a friend and was quickly embarrassed by how they treated people. The "gym rats" ran the place. Always rude and when I would say something to management they just would look so shocked. So I quit going. I cancelled my card so I didn't have to deal with the pressure of a sales person trying to harass me to stay. Then I get a letter saying they sent me to collections over a gym membership I stopped using last year? And I had to pay first months, last months and a gym maintenance fee? Where did that fee go? The whole staff is amazing! I love the caretakers in the day care! My son has such a good time and i don't have to worry about him while I work out. I love that you get a free training session when you sign up. Keith worked with me today and he was so professional and thorough! I think i will be getting personal training.
