Wow, played yesterday and I'm already excited to return to Escape Again! The staff were really friendly and each game is private as long as you have at least 2 people-- amazing :D There are only 3 rooms here, with the hardest one being a 90 minute room! While the room didn't look as polished as the usual corporate escape rooms I have played, the room was still really fun and all of the puzzles worked well. The room ended up being way bigger than I thought. The puzzles didn't require a ton of abstract thinking (like second letter of every word starting a sentence in the second chapter of a book, etc.) and were fun and satisfying to complete. The game master does initially try to help you out if you are stuck, but you can ask for less clues (or ask for unlimited clues without penalty). Our game master, Dana, was super nice and enthusiastic :) You can reserve online, pay in advance, and add an optional tip to your game master via venmo/zelle. Totally worth the 30 minute drive for me-- excited to play again (but also sad there are only 2 more to try)! read more

I was visiting family and went here with my two tween nieces. It is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. We were able to reserve the room and sign waivers online. We were given an orientation by a nice gentleman at the front desk. We did the wizard room together and had a blast! It was a fun activity for the kiddos and me and though they found it a bit scary in some parts, it was a lot of fun. We had a blast and ended up escaping the room. Escape Again Rooms was my first escape room experience, but it certainly won't be my last! I wanted a unique birthday activity for my 11-year-old daughter, and an escape room seemed to fit the bill. Booking online was super easy - just select your experience, date/time and number of participants - you only pay for one person upfront (like a deposit), then pay for the rest upon arrival. They will only charge you for the number of people who actually show (we ended up with a party of six). **Keep in mind, they don't have a party room or anywhere to slice cake or keep presents. The folks up front are kind enough to hold on to a small number of gift bags, but don't expect to hang out after finishing the escape room.** We selected the Hike theme, which was perfect for their age group. I believe groups under the age of 13 need one adult present in the room... I was the "adult". A game master watched using discretely placed cameras and gave us hints over the speaker. You can also talk to them if you get stuck. Eventually, the game master (ahem, I mean "park ranger") ended up joining our group and helped to guide the girls to the finish line. The escape room was creative, challenging, well-executed, and extremely fun. The bar has been set so high, and I'm lucky that such a reputable escape room is right around the corner from me. We solved the Outlaw room in just under 60 minutes. Four adults and two 7 year olds had a total blast! The puzzles were good but not too complex, and were such a variety of puzzle types. Would highly recommend, we'll be back to try the other rooms. Also- the Outlaw room was great for kids. Some places have a lot of blood/gore/scary stuff, so it was nice to just have some good clean fun. read more

This was our second experience at Escape Again Rooms and both times have been an absolute blast! The escape rooms are intricate and well planned out, but not too challenging to do with teens and preteens. There are so many fun details to keep everyone entertained. I've been to several different Escape Rooms in Houston and the puzzles in this place are some of the best! The waiting room is huge, the parking is easy and plentiful (which is not the case in for many escape rooms), and the staff are super friendly. I loved that they have example locks in the lobby to practice on and to show the kids in our group, that was very helpful. We did the Santa's Workshop room. We had a group of six including a 14 and 9 year old. We'd done rooms before with the kids and they didn't enjoy them as much as this one. There were specific tasks in the room that were perfect for the kids to help with. The puzzles were well thought out and not random like some other places we've been. I really liked that there were cameras and microphones in the room and someone was monitoring so we could just shout out questions or ask for clues (which we didn't) while playing. The decor was cute and I'm a fan! We will definitely be back to do the other two rooms (The Hike and The Seance) and hope they are continuing to create more rooms! read more

Must experience the Wizard!!! Would recommend for +10 year olds/adults. Our five teenagers LOVED the challenge. They found the crown with 10 minutes left on the clock. We loved the suspenseful story line and artistic/realistic/intricate details of the the room setting. The lighting and sound effects are also outstanding. We loved The Wizard room. Our family is a very experience team usually solving rooms with little or no hints. This room is challenging but fair and we were able to navigate at a comfortable pace with helpful proddings from the game master. I went here with a group of people who love doing escape rooms and these were some of the most creative and intricate rooms we've experienced in the Houston area. It's all very well thought out and challenging, and the flow of each game super logical and very enjoyable. I would recommend this place to everyone. I hope more people stop by and try it out! Took my daughter and friends to celebrate her 10th birthday. They loved it. Needed lots of clues but finished!

So much fun!! We came as a group of 6 adults (26 & up) and 3 kids... ages 7,6,2. $15/pp for over 6 years old. There are 3 themes, we chose Santa's workshop. First they go over how to use 4 different locks, the rules, then they lock you in the room. You basically have to find clues and solve riddles and puzzles to unlock locks on boxes or lockers to eventually get the key to unlock the room. You get one hour. There's no clock in the room. You cannot take pictures in the room. There's always someone outside (staff) watching & listening. If you need help or a hint, just loudly announce it and someone (an elf) will respond over the room speakers. The less hints and less time you use, the better your score will be. We took 42 min. It's my first but definitely not my last time here! As soon as you find the key to unlock the door, you're done! Exit, go take your picture and bye!! read more
