Dr. Tom Spend the next two hours on the phone with the insurance company to try to get me transportation home. He was transferred multiple times and finally got a ride home for me. He waited with me outside until they showed up.And he did not leave until I had a way to go home. I don't know of any other doctor who would have done what he did But I am very grateful to have him as a doctor. After that I go and sit for a few more minutes before the Dr. came in. She was pretty rude, and hardly did an examination. Didn't ask much question and did not seem to have read any of my records or notes from previous Dr. Overall I wasted more then 2 hours on this appointment. I most definitely will not return. When I called to ask why I hadn't heard back, I was told that it was my responsibility to call them to follow up. Completely unacceptable. The staff were rude and unhelpful, and their communication skills are awful. To make things even worse, my neurologist -- the one who ordered the MRI -- is now refusing to review it herself and is instead having a physician assistant do it. What's the point of seeing a specialist if they won't even look at your results? Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that actually cares about their patients and knows how to communicate.
